Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister Bob Sichinga this afternoon escaped unhurt when his vehicle was hit by an unregistered Toyota Hilux near Chongwe River Bridge.
The accident happened around 16 hours this afternoon after the driver of the Toyota Hilux identified as Doubt Kopekope gave a wrong turning signal and later bumped into Mr. Sichinga ministerial vehicle registration number GRZ 940 CH.
And speaking to a ZANIS crew that rushed to the accident scene, Mr Kopepekope who was also unhurt regretted having caused the accident.
And Mr Sichinga’s driver Aron Phiri also expressed shock with the misjudgement of Mr. Kopekope who was allegedly drunk.
Meanwhile, Mr. Sichinga has cautioned drivers to desist from driving while drunk saying the habit has greatly contributed to the rising accidents in the country.
Mr Sichinga who was coming from Chama to check on the distribution of maize has since been aided with transport to Lusaka by Lusaka Province Deputy Permanent Secretary Bright Nundwe.

So if the man was drunk while driving does this mean he goes in for 90 days weekend imprisonment? A strange thing is that there seems to be a similarity in this accident as to that of Mwanawasa accident when he was Vice president which left him speech impaired. The driver that hit into Mwanawasa’s Vehicle was equally drunk, and Mwanawasa was in political office then as Bob is also in political office now.Could there be foul play in this? if there is why Bob?
This Mr Kopekope has already been found guilty because it’s a PF minister involved, tests have to be done to prove the man was drunk. Remember Evans Lawrence MP for Livingstone ran over a child on a road side because he tried to avoid traffic so drove off the road and killed the innocent child, no police no investigation and rewarded with deputy ministerial post

Yes Kopekope maybe hanged by PF, just for driving under influence of alcohol, in USA is DUI, just 3 points on license, but in Zambian PF Injustice Ministry it will be attempted murder on a PF Minister, a brother-in-law of Sata.
