Ex-KK Eleven star Simon Kaodi Kaushi has opposed the recent appointment of Kampamba Chintu as Chipolopolo assistant coach.
Chintu has further been given the role of Under-23 assistant coach.
In an interview in Kitwe, Kaushi said Chintu is not qualified to be national team deputy coach.
The former Kitwe United and Mufulira Blackpool coach said the Kabwe
Warriors player-coach must prove his mettle at club level before he is offered a bigger assignment.
“That is a wrong decision if they want him to learn let them take Chintu to a club,” Kaushi said.
“Coaches should be appointed on merit so let Chintu prove at club level that he is a good coach,” said the 1974 Africa Cup silvermedalist.
Kaushi added:”We have many coaches who can work with the national team like Fighton Simukonda and George Lwandamina.”
Chintu is yet to officially retire from playing.
Kalu is selfish..he thinks he knows football..yo brother y? Wat has done n which team has he coached? Kula don’t b selfish!!!!!!God is watching u. Ba chintu be care too
WAKO ni WAKO. This is what they did in INDECO, MINDECO, ZIMCO & FINDECO, and they’ll still do it in the new INDECO – you’ll need investigative capabilities to spot a non-Bemba surname in a key position.
How about the head coach Patrice is he remotely qualified for that role? What mettle has he proved since he has been an assistant throughout his managerial career.
@ jay jay Patrice qualifies becoz he is Bemba, even @wanu ngwee agrees with my view.
YES Jay Jay this is where you thrive and not politics.Restrict your comments here iwe mambala.
Good to know that Simon Kaodi Kaushi is still around! I wish I could see his photo! He reminds me of the great team of the ’70s.
I agree with him, for someone to be appointed to position like national coach, he must have a good proven record. Equally Patrice is not qualified for that job. We are now recruiting people on job on training basis.
I recall this guy PaScriviner , once Blackpool got a throw in ( awize ) near the corner flag , the throw in was good as a corner ….
Back in the day’s of Superloaf, Ubz, Zamcab , Rover Zambia etc PF take as back …….
Wat a joke bringing back Indeco
@jayjay your contributions these make very interesting reading are you the same person?
Dear Zambians learn to eliminate a spirit of jealous from ur hearts. Give Chintu a chance the boy is wher he is today & his being identified becoz of his disciplined character and his attitude of nothing is impossible if you believe. Why do you guys like pull him down attitude. Learn to build your young ones. Its not only old forks that can be in leadership. Go Chintu! You can make it boy. Dot look back nor be discouraged. All these negatives are coming from old pipo who still hv it in their little minds that the young must never be accorded chances. Let’s build Chintu to what we want. Thanks Kalu for you never a jealous personality
@iye and Mbuzi you quite remind me of the old football days!
Iwe mambala stop stealing my user name.
But I don’t agree with Simon Kaushi!
