The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has postponed the Kasenengwa, Mkushi South and Solwezi Central constituencies’ by-elections.
The nominations in three constituencies were scheduled to be held on 28th January 2014, while the polls were scheduled for 25th February 2014.
ECZ Senior Public Relations officer Sylvia Bwalya in a statement issued to QFM News says the postponement is in view of litigation which is before the courts affecting the three constituencies.
Ms Bwalya adds that concurrently, the Commission has also postponed the nominations and elections in five wards in Mkushi South Constituency.
Ms Bwalya however, says the Katuba Constituency by-election and other six local government nominations and polls will take place as scheduled on 28th January, 2014 and 25th February ,2014 for the polls.

@Action Man; most of us abhor corruption, unfortunately when the definition of corruption is so fluid, and depends on which Party one belongs to, it becomes difficult to put a finger on exactly what constitutes corruption.
