Zambia go into the draw in Pot 1 meaning they will avoid Nigeria, Cote d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Mali and Tunisia thanks to the seven sides classification points accumulated in the qualifiers and participation in the 2010, 2012 and 2013 tournaments.
Pot 2 contains Algeria, Angola, Cape Verde, Togo, Egypt, South Africa and Cameroon.

All 21 teams enjoy knockout round byes and go straight into the group stage.
Meanwhile Pot 4 has yet to be determined with 28 teams battling over two knockout qualifying rounds for the seven places left in the group stage.
