Today’s Word from Joel and Victoria
Did you know there are resources and blessings laid up for the righteous? There are funds that will eventually be transferred over into the hands of the people who will use them for God’s purposes. In the Scripture God is called the Lord of the Sabaoth. That means He is “the God who puts His armor on and goes to war against those who hold His treasure from His purposes.” Just imagine God getting His armor on and going into the forces of darkness and saying, “Okay. I’ll take those funds. I need them for my children. I’ll take these businesses, these ideas, these contracts. They have My children’s names on them.”
Friends, God is fighting your battles for you. He has immeasurable favor that He is going to transfer into the hands of the righteous. The key is to make sure you’re in the righteous group. Make sure you are honoring God with your life and keeping your heart pure. Let go of any weights or any sins that are holding you back. As long as you stay in faith and live righteously before Him, God has promised abundance, promotion, and funds that already have your name on them!
A Prayer for Today
Father in heaven, thank You for fighting my battles on my behalf. I commit all my plans to You and surrender every area of my life to Your purposes. Thank You for Your favor and blessing on me today and always. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

For the first time on this thread, I feel this message sounds rather “hype”.
I am always careful when I hear people preaching the “Health & Wealth” gospel because Christ made it very clear that “In the world, YOU WILL have suffering, but be strong, for I have overcome the world…”
I know that The Lord is capable of blessing us abundantly but the road of righteousness is rough…from my realistic point of view.
Ansooooooo! I met Him in Israel at 03:00am I was driving from the club, He was trying to cross the highway, we looked at each other in a flash He looked like a mad man pushing a bicycle, dressed in tattered clothes, His hair & beard very long and unkempt. I wondered if anyone else saw Him. after that He always appeared on the highway everytime i sped home from the club! I wonder if He’s still alive or got knocked down by speeding cars, in the early hours. Shabbat Shalom!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^:)^
Some states are Christian, Islamic, Secular and so forth. Need your plausible opinion & explaination on whether there is a direct or indirect correlation between religion and national development, religion and personal (mental, physical, material e.c.t.) development. 13, Nine Chale, I agree with you 100%. Consider these 2 texts. It is very clear the Bible does not promise us a Rosy life on planet earth even when you are righteous. Christ the righteous suffered. What more us sinful human beings.
1Peter 3:12, For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

Yes God fights our battles, but God will never do for you that which you can do for yourself. For example, your duty as a student is to study. If you do not study, God will never study for you no matter how righteous you might think you are. Even when it comes to matters of salvation the Bible declares: Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

I wish the Joel Osteen Ministries had provided a biblical text for the above quote. I have not come accross this promise of God in the bible. Those of you that have read that promise, kindly provide the data.

Jesus the son of God had no house, no wife and no children. No wealth whatsoever. John the baptised was in the same position. Who I am I to seek only earthly wealth from God which I will eneventally leave behind. I would rather invest and seek heavenly riches which thieves can not steal and which will last for ever and ever and ever.
Some of the most dedicated christians I had known have died poor, leaving almost nothing for their children other than wisdom. As I speak now, I believe they are in heaven with God.
How hard it is for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.

The bible is simple and straight forward. Do not give your money to preachers thinking that you are serving God. If you are that desperate to help, I am sure you have a neighbor, friend or relative you can help without handing over your cash to some organisation that will deduct ‘overheads’ before helping a single soul.
The route to God is in our hearts, no external conduit is required!

#23, thats a good scripture but you missed ‘ AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS’. God bless you. there is no alternative to Jehovah God. there is no RECESSION in his kingdom. I love him even if i have never seen him, but i have seen his works, felt his presence,read his word, heard him speak. i have never touched him, all i knoe is that he is ALIVE. Other gods are visibe, touchable, designed, introduced and made by man. they dont see and they do die. they fail and they get frustrated. Their works are not evident.and they are not alive. Choose today your God!
It is true God will take care of us. The verses are not in any way indicating that “Lesa akesa fitulika fye pamwinshi”. You need to put your discovered gifts, talents, abilities to use. It is productivity that creates wealth and “God will bless the fruit of your labor”. To all those lazy Christians who are fasting and praying for wealth to live for their children and grand children, you are in for a big surprise, you will get none of it. Pray,think and act.
