Chipolopolo jets into Maputo

Zambia left for Maputo on Thursday ahead of Saturday’s penultimate 2015 Africa Cup Group F qualifiers against Mozambique.

Chipolopolo left Lusaka on a chartered flight from Kenneth Kaunda International Airport on a one hour, fifty minute flight after taking off at 09h25.

Coach Honour Janza has travelled with his entire 27-member team.

However, missing from the travelling party was captain and defender Stopilla Sunzu.

Sunzu is still at his base in France after sustaining a hamstring injury while in league action last Friday for his Ligue 2 club Sochaux.

Zambia must beat Mozambique this weekend to mathematically put one foot into the 2015 finals with a game to spare.

Zambia are second on five points, tied with Mozambique who are third with two games left to play.

Group F leaders Cape Verde have already qualified with two games to spare on nine points from four games played.
