Today’s Message: Fix Your Gaze

bible

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you.”

(Proverbs 4:25, NIV)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria

What are you looking at today? Not in the natural, but with your spiritual eyes. In other words, what is in the forefront of your mind and heart? Are you constantly dwelling on your problems or things that have happened in your past? In the natural, you will move in the direction that your eyes are looking.

In the spiritual, it works the same way. Whatever you focus your mind and heart on, you will move toward. That’s why the Bible tells us to look straight ahead. If you are constantly dwelling on your past, wondering “what if,” then you will stay right where you are. But if you choose to release the past through forgiveness, then you can focus on what is ahead of you.

Today, make the decision to meditate on God’s goodness and focus on His promises. Forget the past, good and bad, and fix your gaze straight ahead so you can move forward into the blessing and victory He has for you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father, today I set my focus on You. I choose to forget the past by forgiving others so that I can fix my gaze on Your promises. Keep me close to You always and lead me in Your path of life in Jesus’ name! Amen.

— Joel & Victoria Osteen

  1. Help me Lord Jesus to stay focused in my ;life even as i look forward tohaving a bright future in you.

  2. We’re sick and tired of your ism and skism game
Die and go to heaven in Jesus’ name, Lord
    We know when we understand
Almighty God is a living man
    You can f o o l some people sometimes
But you can ‘t f o o l all the people all the time
So now we see the light
We gonna stand up for our right

So you’d better get up, stand up, stand up for your right
Get up, stand up, do n’t give up the fight
Get up, stand up, stand up for your right
Get up, stand up, do n’t give up the fight

  3. When the missionaries came to Africa they had the Bible and we had the land. They said, ‘Let us pray.’ We closed our eyes. When we opened them we had the Bible and they had the land.

  4. Religious Prayers Cannot Transform Africa – STOP Praying!

Africans over-rely on Prayer thinking Prayer alone can change Africa from a dry land to the land flowing with milk and honey.

We tend to believe that a praying Continent should be a transforming Continent and that is why we are still far behind till today.

It is time for we Africans to change our thinking, Prayer alone won’t take us anywhere.

  5. New Book Claims Jesus Had Secret Family

It’s called “The Lost Gospel” and it’s based off of manuscripts found in British Library dating back more than 1,400 years written in Syriac, the language spoken by Jesus himself. It claims Jesus had a secret family made up of two sons and a wife

    • Imagine you were given a chance to write a book about Jesus today would you write some favourable things about him? I doubt. Similarly believers in Jesus Christ would not write something favourable about people like you. It therefore goes without saying that the author of the book you are have made reference to could not write something favourable about Jesus Christ because he did not believe in him. His aim was to discredit Jesus Christ. Because his motive was motivated by spite his book could only be found in a museum unlike the Bible which is found in every home and read by all, including you.
