Midfielder Mukuka Mulenga has continued on the road to his assimilation into the South African PSL after featuring in Wednesday’s away fixture at Ajax Cape Town.

The 21-year-old ex-Power Dynamos midfielder played his fifth game of the season for Bloemfontein Celtic in a 1-0 away loss at Ajax Cape Town.

Mukuka started the match before he was substituted at the start of the second half.

His club compatriot and defender Davies Nkausu was on the bench for Celtic while Clifford Mulenga came on in the 76th minute for Ajax Cape Town.

Mukuka is currently on loan at Celtic from Mamelodi Sundowns for whom he has yet to kick the ball since joining them from Power in August, 2012 because of a year-long layoff with an ankle injury.

And Celtic are 8th on the log after Wednesday’s away loss.

Meanwhile, Mukuka has played one game for Zambia since his recent recovery on Honour Janza’s debut in Zambia’s 3-1 friendly win over Sudan on August 31 in Lusaka in which he scored the final goal.
