Share

Veteran trainer Fordson Kabole has quit as coach of FAZ Division One North side Roan United.

Roan hired Kabole last October as interim coach when the team was in the Super Division before handing him a one year contract in March 2015.

Club chairman Chisoni Miti revealed that Kabole resigned on Tuesday.

“He tendered in his resignation on 11th May 2015 without stating any reason,” Miti said.

“This is a major setback for Roan because we enjoyed a good relationship with him,” he added.

Kabole has coached Nchanga Rangers, Power Dynamos and DR Congo side Don Bosco.

The Luanshya club has since appointed assistant trainer and ex-Chipolopolo defender Hilary Makasa as interim head coach.

“Hilary Makasa is now our interim coach.Life must continue and we must move on,” Miti said.

Roan are fourth in Division One North with 15 points from nine games and are just two points behind leaders Kalulushi Modern stars

  1. Too bad, anyway Ba Fordson should be coaching the national team not that guy who made us be walloped in West Africa.

  2. No, Kabole was tipped by Wedson Nyirenda…Wada Wada has ditched Buffaloes. He has ran away to Mozambique.

So, Buffaloes are looking for an experienced and mature coach.

    Kabole is coming to Buffaloes.
