Patriotic Front (PF) candidate in the forthcoming Petauke Central by-elections Dora Siliya has apologised to the people of Petauke District and has since asked for their votes.
ZANIS reports that speaking at a rally attended by Vice President Inonge Wina at Kaulu Secondary School grounds in Petauke today, Ms Siliya said she was sorry for any wrongs that she might have unintentionally committed to the people of Petauke.
She promised to deliver development to the people of Petauke Central once elected into office on June 30.
Ms Siliya said she understands the challenges that the local people especially women are facing in the area.
She said once elected, she would ensure that farmers have massive access to fertiliser in order to boost agriculture which is the main activity for the local people in the district.
And Vice President Inonge Wina has urged the people of Petauke to vote for Ms Siliya because she is hard-working.
The Vice President said the PF is aware that people have been wondering why the PF settled for Ms Siliya further stating that the choice was arrived at because Dora performed exceptionally last time she was in parliament.
She said Ms Siliya is capable of delivering development to the people of Petauke on the ruling PF ticket.
Why now? The best time was to apologize before you got adopted by the Pf. Now we why you’re apologizing. Zambia will never develop with like this who go in public to insult their former husbands in the name of getting votes. Shame on you.

Can someone please outline for us what achievements Dora has so exceptionally achieved as a politician? Mama Wina has claimed in this article that Dora was adopted for her exceptional achievements. Could those in the know please enlighten us on these achievements?

DORA shoulld apologise to the relatives of the late Sata for hijacking his PF without shame. This is the same party she was speaking against so vehemently only four years ago to these same people. Its true the song Alungu Anabwela is exactly what is happening in PF. The true members of PF have been sidelined. Even though it is the matter of winning an election but on this one Ba PF mwaitaya.

It is all about sour grapes. Had Dora and RV opted to support or join UPND, all this useless talk would not be there. The fact is there is no candidate like Dora in Petauke. Dora does not require to be sold but only to be heard. PF would lose if they opted for other so called sidelined candidates. Dora is articulate, intelligent and loaded with humor. This is what makes others sleepless. Dora is not as corrupt as Mmembe who has big baggage with ZRA, DBZ, Finance Bank, National Airport etc. No one raises these issues except the Daily Nation. Mmembe has no moral right to talk nor accuse others of corruption. Whereas for Dora it is perceived corruption but is real for Mmembe. This is the difference. So hate speech and this game of Mmembe is surely over.
This is not a wise move. No wonder people call politics as a dirty game when it is not suppose to be so.

What a load lies of development Inonge is fooling Petauke people. Why is development used as a too to hoodwink poor people. No development has taken place anywhere by elections have taken place. Ask Mfumbwe, Chadiza, even in Chawama right in side Lusaka. Deception is the brand name of PF.
