  1. Congrats boys hope you go to RIO and make t5he country proud as did the Kalushas. I hope a good preparation programme will be put in place so the boys dont just go to add the numbers.

  2. Well done boys!!indeed ifintu ni Lungu!!you have made us proud including president Lungu!!GO CHIPOLOPOLO GO!!

    • Congrats to the team.Preparations commences now.Arrange friendlies with tough opponents like Ghana,Nigeria and Algeria.

Please keep politics out of soccer.
Fuel prices are going up in Zed while on the world market the crude oil prices are going down, what about consistent load shedding,Corruption ,crime etc?Can I hear you say infintu ni lungu?

  3. Why did they need to play for 30 hours? Kikiki
All the same congrats ba young chipolopolo, I can afford to take a beer today & laugh.
Most stories in this country are so depressing.

    • Am figuring that out too!! The game was played out in 2 legs. That is 180minutes. Add extra time (if it was there) it comes to 210minutes. Did they play for 8 days?
My conclusion is that the reporter or writer so overrates himself like hakainde.

  4. Congratulations to the boys. However, having watched the game at Nkoloma stadium, Zambia has a lot to do before the tournament to get past the group stages in Senegal. They showed some class in the first half, before Ivory Coast took over the proceedings in the second half. Our boys were no match in the area of physique and stamina. Easily pushed over during man-to-man tackles and aerial balls.

And to FAZ, it buffles the mind why they take such important international matches to nkoloma stadium. One would have thought that such matches should be staged at heroes or la levy in Ndola. I am sure ba Kalu has a better reason, which was not availed to most of us.

    • Zhar..

….FAZ would pay thru their nose playing from the heroes or Levy…..were ever possible they just avoid it…

    • Kalu has run out of ideas.Clueless like his coaches.Next month Chipolopolo faces Kenya away in Nairobi and to date no expatriate coach has been appointed to steer the team to greater heights.

Kenya are now coached by former Ugandan coach Bobby Williamson,a well experienced Scott.

What do you have chicken Lwandamina? LOL!
Prepare for a massacre in Nairobi

  5. Finaly Zambia & Ivory Coast has beten the world knon time of playing socer. Full one day & 6hours just on the ground! LT How many breks did they had & refs? The two teams must be given a football univesal awad. Congurats boys.
