Dear Friends
You need to understand that the World Bank is a business entity, Zoelick’s visit is coming at a time that Zambia has performed very badly with management of donor resources. Now that most donors are withholding their grants. World Bank which gives mostly loans has found an opportunity to market its loans to Zambia seeing as Zambia is already desperate for cash. There is really nothing attractive about his visit, for some of us we are worried as this visit is only going to add to our global debt. Hope this is helpful.
