  1. Pics 20 and 27-That is a sorry sight.Further shows how our countrys health system has deteriorated. My heart is bleeding.Pic 10-Chipata disco indeed…i like that improvised transport system.

    • Very pathetic governments; previous and current! How can people, you own people be looked after like that. Where is zambia going. Is zambia at war? Is this country christian? Yes….my foot. What does the future hold for those innocent children. Poor little things! A beautiful country for the have-nots.

    • #27 & 28 You can’t simply take picture of poor girl and you leave her there. I demand you publish her next week where your DC took her to a proper hospital. If I insult you & your government, you start awe Ba Nostradamus mwalufyanya….

  2. the captions on these pics are pathetic, LT make use of your editors or simply fire them! Are you always in a hurry to post stuff onto your website, malabishi yeka yeka

  3. We are ruling you Bantustans . We are in control everywhere. No bantustans amongst all these government officials. You will die from your bitterness.

  4. This is great. I have seen a friend of mine who is now a Dr. We used to be in the same stream and third year at ridgeway campus. Keep it up Lusaka times

  5. Definitely the money being wasted on these by-elections would work miracles fixing up these sad looking clinics shown in these pictures—very depressing to behold really.

    God have mercy!

  6. How on earth could someone dwell and find zambia habitable for their rest of life?
The lifespan of people doesn’t lie, the poor health conditions, the food where people eat insects and roots together with mashed maize and the scotching heat that comes from a country landlocked says it all.

I look outside my office and look at these pictures and one word spring to mind ‘Suffering’ and trust me when I am saying this because i have experiences the life of both worlds and although l love visiting zambia, it is suicide to plan living there for the rest of my life.
God help Zambia. How sad, I am trembling with embarrassment as i type this

    Thanks

    • Mushota if really Zambia makes you disgusted as you put it, i fail to understand why you always find the time to make comments on almost all the Topics posted, implying you are most of the time reading on Zambia,,,, makes me conclude you are just playing this Mushota character and you must be sitting on someones lap top using there internet

    • its true this is home for most us and it hates us all.
So Mushota what have you done for zambia..?
Remember your grandmum lives here and all your clan goes to such places each time one of them falls sick

    • Mushota, I have seen a good number of your post and it seems- you have an inferiority complex about you. Don’t comment about what I’ve just said, just think about it. Take time to think this through…

  7. Nothing worth praising in these photos. We can`t blame only Pf for the poor drainage and clinics. All the previous governments are a let down. They should all shoulder the blame. No wonder tatwakabwele. We will continue just coming for vacations.

  8. When Kenya has launched Konza city, our people are being subject to live with rubbish everywhere and a clinic does not care for a girl sleeping on the floor.

    • the clinic also needs care. the people must stand up and improve this country . it is clear that politicians have their own agenda. very few have the poor at heart.

    • Nostradamus, you are a TWAT!!! I cannot believe that in this global world where a human being is a gift from God, there are still fools like yourself that perceive humans by their racial orientation!!! May the Lord Almighty have mercy on folks like yourself…

  9. HOW DOES THE MEANWOOD GUY DONATE MONEY WHEN HE HAS STOLEN FROM RESIDENTS IN MEANWOOD PLOTS? HE SHOULD BE ARRESTED, NO MORE NONSENSE OF CORRUPTION AS IT USED TO BE IN MMD. THIS ZULU MAN IS SUCH A THIEF. HE WAS SELLING PLOTS BETWEEN 70 – 100M WITH NO PROPER ROADS OR SANITATION. CAGE HIM NOW PF.

  10. Looking at the pictures you can really tell that our country is impoverished from broken down and dilapidated infrastructure to the pathetic healthcare. No wonder our life expectancy is very low. It should not come as a surprise that our country is one of the 50 least developed in the world.

  11. It’s very sad to see my country as a failure and for all of you abroad thinking negative what if we all gave up and left who will develop our country am studing abroad too but i refuse to give up one day mother Zambia tukasebana nomo never give up people chalo chesu ichi.

  12. What zambia is going thru can be partly blamed on United States Ambassador to Zambia Mark Storella who misled his country to support sata. I cant believe he even seem happy but under neath he knows that he messed up big time, zambians will never forget this chap!

    • Blame who? You must be out of your mind!!! The Zambian people voted on who should be their president, not the US ambassodor. You have to take responsibility for your actions and learn not to blame others when s**t hits the fan!

  13. Zambia is for the rich, if you are poor just lay down and die thats the only solution thats there for you. Ministers pretending to work, taking tours and fake inspections. Education minister you can’t even be ashamed. A poor child laying on the ground like that? You Zambians never learn, why you voted PF into power only God knows. More money in your pockets, but all of you were to dumb to ask how that was possible and where the money will come from.

  14. Sad sad sad indeed. Where are you headed to mother Zambia sure kanshi ??? I cry for you young girl lying on the ground waiting to be attended to and you poor widows who have been evicted and also you guys who are driving used Japanese cars and riding bicycles in the mud as if your country has not enough resources. We have enough resources to enjoy better lives but unfortunately we are poor up their to manage them properly and share the resources equitably.

  15. You can tell from the pictures that most people are failing to keep their heads above waters.Masebo bleaching your skin? you must be above that naimwe ,and drop the fake hair.Natural is beautiful.

  16. Sad pictures that should stir up every man on Lusaka times. Women as well. Send text books and computers for study to your relatives. Ndalama ba mwela. This only opens up our eyes to the truth and hard work.

    2) why is Africa inviting American, Asian and european defense cheifs. We are free let’s draw up laws to make our own continental defense.

  17. These photos are really depressing – a foreigner who has never visited Zambia may be excused for thinking we are very wealthy when he/she reads that our president has pledged $90K to each of our lazy national football players and an overall total of $2 million to bring the AFCON trophy.

All that precious water in Chipata going to waste….that could be retained and used for irrigation or commercial uses in the coming dry months!!

    • Picture 20,27 and 28 clearly paints that situation that zambia is in.The govt both past and present have failed the people of zambia. The billions of kwachas that MMD and PF has wasted on the useless constitution review commission can be channeled to bring health development in these places. These two parties have spent billions of kwachas on ink, paper and microphone and nothing has comeout that is meaningful and progressive whilst people are dying sleeping on the floor with no healthcare. The local members of parliament receive billions in CDF and people locally do not even have both access and available to minimal healthcare. This is a shame and a failure of common sense.

  18. I Agree with the Prince, Robinson Zulu is a thief , he stole from DBZ and ran away to the UK and stayed until everything was forgotten, Zambians have a short memory , then stole from people. The donating is not genuine, why call a press inference just because you have given peanuts? I would respect him if he had done in annomously, the bible says when you give something with your right hand do not met your left hand know about it. He is a show off. Wait for for your turn to answer corruption charges regarding the land you took From NAPSA.

  19. Sorry I meant press conference! Mr Robinson Zulu, if you do good deeds, do not show off or expect people to praise and worship you, do it genuinely with no ulterior motive. Posting a picture with journalists on LT about your donations is pathetic. Please donate more money for the dual carriage from Lusaka to Ndola that would be very helpful and would prevent accidents.

  20. I used to see pictures of floods and poor drainage in the POST newspapers. What happened then? Ukhuluku pa Zambia!!!
