Since LT is not giving you the latest news , I will try and update you.
“The transfer of former PSL leading striker Chris Katongo from Brondby IF to Germany’s Arminia Bielefeld is done.
The transfer is however still depending on a medical test that Katongo will undergo at Bielefeld now. He will sign a deal until June 2011 and Brondby is to receive 1.2 million US-Dollar as compensation”
Our captain is going to play in the bunderliga now.
actually he has already signed for the club, big ups to chris
its a 3 years deal,
Big Mistake Ba Chris Big Mistake Boy…when are we goin to watch
a Zambian Player in the UEFA champions league..i had hope that
we could through Chris since Brondby sometimes find themselves
in the UEFA CUP or champions league
but now that he has moved to play for a relagation fighting team
there goes my dream
he should have stayed at the Brondby and fought for his place
thats what good players do…All the best to the Ol’ Chap
Arminia Bielefeld Might just play in the UEFA CUP….haha..:))
Black Feet #4,Yes Brondby have playing in the Uefa Cup but the the only play preliminary games the never go far.Just now the were playing a team called B36 from Faroe Island who the managed to beat 1-0 at home they won 0-2 away. The will now be playing a team called Haka from the Finnish league.
Actually I.Chansa’s team Helsingborg last year managed to get to the group Stage of the UEFA Cup.Though Isaac played only two games or so.Though this year he is now a regular.
To be quiet honest you were never going to watch Chris in the Champions League playing for Brondby cos the team would never make it to the Group stage where games are shown Live.Brondby don’t have a strong team.
In Denmark FC Kobenhavn & Aalborg Bk these are the teams that play Champions League football and they at times make the first stage of the group stage. These teams have stronger teams in Denmark i may be wrong i am sure Justice Kafusha in Denmark can help us.
For sure i have seen FC Kobenhavn a few times on TV.
Where is sichine and sinkala? I would be bitter if sinkala is wasted, for sichone, at his peck he was a bit big-headed for my liking. These boys who want the whole country to beg then, remember a “Charles Musonda”, forgotten tho was very talented.Busy helping improve Belguim football.
Sorry meant Sichone …
LT, why is so difficult for you to publish Division one league tables?? Pliz pliz hear our plea.
Mufulira wanderers will never be mighty again, riotus behaviour after kitwe utd equalised thru a penalty. commentator Leonard chibasa’s vehicle and kitwe utd’s bus smashed. that’s unheard of from mufulira. wanderers supporters pls check yo behaviour, nibola fye iyi.
shame on you.
1) It’s a good move for Chris bcoz he his hard work is paying off. If he does well, he may just be snapped up by a bigger club. (2) I believe it’s time we closed the Sichone chapter, he is past his peak & besides he has always caused problems to FAZ. Sinkala on the other hand deserves a chance. He had a few injury problems recently. (3) All soccer lovers must condemn the behaviour by the Shinde supporters. It has no place in our modern football.
Viva Yamoto!!!!!!!!!!!
#6 Sibs you are right, Brondby have never gone to the group stages of the Champions league, have always fumbled and of late they are crap, they crashed 0-3 at home by Randers. If Brondby were to play in the Germany league they would be demoted to the Second division the first year. FC Copenhagen or Kobenhavn and Aalborg are the two teams that have reached the first group stage. As for Katongo many clubs will monitor him while in Germany. I also think that his aggresive style of player will suit better to Germany soccer, besides that there big crowds at games in Germany even when second division clubs are playing. Let us wait and see
#13 Justice Kafusha, am sorry that you have lost Tsunami. you used to update us on his performance in Denmark. Am sure you will continue watching and monitoring his performance. Update us on Isaac Chansa, the last I heard was when he scored in a recent past match.
I hope he will be snapped up by a bigger club. I remember last season the team started so well even occupying the second spot on the Bundesliga only to fumble in the latter stages.
Good luck Ba Katongo.
