  1. Zambia! Zambia! Zambia! effort and courage are not enough without purpose and direction. I am sure most Zambian dont even understand their 2030 vision. Zambia if you need economic growth start within yourselves not new york. USA has its own worries who are you Mr Machila?

You media, industries, manuacturing companies, commercial farmer these are the one you need to start with as Government allow them to grow. If you have a child and that child is not growing then their is a problem within and not without (New York).

    Come on think man!

  2. With due respect to Honourable Minister Machila, Africa and my beloved Zambia included will never improve its economy by disciminating against people outside her bounderies with the means to participate fully in the economies.
Latest case senario of South Africa is an example. It is a rainbow nation in name only. In practice it discriminates against its minorities from power participation. Only a black President should always lead.
Reversed apatheid in play which The Great Madiba Mandela has always been against. Is Zuma the best man to run a developed economy like that of South Africa? Debatable.

  3. U aint got a vision at present then u r worried about the future.IT IS WAT U START TODAY WHICH WILL BIRTH TOMORROW.THE BIBLE SAYS WER THEZ NO VISION PIPO PERISH.

  4. #5 I share your line of thought, why are we always busy looking outside the fence when there is so much potential within to fulfil the vision? Every tub has to sit on it’s own bottom. With the financial crisis currently hitting Americans, they will soon drop the developing nations off their care list. What then?

  5. I agree with #5. I dont know what this vision 2030 is all about. If u mean well, wouldnt u rather first sell it to us Zedians before taking it abroad. Sing it,preach it,teach it untill we all understand it so that the patriotic Zedian can run with it. Now as I understand it, not even those who refer to it the most understand it well or able to articulate it and thats a problem. Am sure the Minister himself would be dumbfounded if asked about it.

  6. #7 spot on. Thats the reason we need fresh politicians, the old ones seem not to be able to understand, adapt and have purpose in their jobs. All they do is wake up in the morning go to the office and sit in their comfy leather seats, staring at their budget and slowly start spending it on themselves. There’s no patriotism, They dont think about zambia being self sufficient. We are like a naive child, not realising we can actully do things on our own, thats how you grow.
