UPND President, Hakainde Hichilema, says his party will emerge victorious despite the biased media coverage.

Mr. Hichilema says its unfortunate that some sections of the media have reduced themselves to be campaign managers for preferred candidates.

The UNPD leader said during a public rally in Sinazongwe that people in the country had suffered enough and needed change.

Mr. Hichilema said his party once elected will revamp coal mining in Sinazongwe.

He said the mining industry had the potential to elevate the suffering of the people in the district

Mr. Hichilema said his government will not allow foreign investors to get licenses without partnering with local businessmen and women.

  2. I read RB say 400 licenses are out there for emarald mining but only 4 mines operate. The 4 are owned by foreigners, the rest of the licenses are held by Zambians, who don’t have money to operate the mines. What a situation!

    The post newspaper has been completely sold out in kitwe town because of pictures showing Sata’s rallies in southern province.I took a survey at 14hrs this afternoon and found out that the paper was completely out of stock shame on ‘Times of Zambia’ and ‘Zambia Daily Mail’ for being bias in their coverage,we are looking forwad to seing HH,Miyanda or Sata on their front pages during times like this.Viva freedom of press.

King Cobra doesnt want elections because the 3 years was too short and the power too sweet and there is nothing to stop him from trashing the constitution. Atleast Nyama Soya is not very popular in the East especially in Chama.Though Nyama Soya will win eastern, the gap between him and HH will be narrow. HH has captured the most rural votes.   78. PF guys, do you know the difference between a cadre and a supporter? A cadre rarely votes because he/she is too busy making noise for his/her master and, generally cadres have low IQs. Supporters analyse issues and their support is mainly based on principle and common goal. I see more of PF cadres than supporters! HH has more supporters than cadres!

    Police in Itezhi-Tezhi are investigating reports indicating that Patriotic Front Leader, Michael Sata, grabbed keys from a ZANIS driver on suspicion that his vehicle was carrying presidential ballot papers.

    Police and the District Commissioner, Leonard Shampile have comfirmed the development to ZNBC news in Livingstone.

    Mr. Sata is said to grabbed the keys from the ZANIS driver after he addressed a public rally in Itezhi Tezhi.

    This time their stronghold Luapula and Northern are compromised further. Lusaka is split.
