Green Eagles striker Aubrey Zulu has been included in Zambia’s 2009 Caf Caf Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifying team to face Angola away in Luanda on November 29.

Herve is not a good coach.
Imwe this is a very big mess we are having and should not just be blamed on the coach alone. How can a top scorer in a top league bag in 12 goals after 29 games?
Shame!!! Tulefwaika ama natural strikers no ishi nkumba shabantu called footballers bunda bwa machinchifye nokwenda kwati filekalipa.
They always go on adventures no kutambe fintu and not to play football. Tukesheko iciyenga…lol
10.Shi Mulase I have seen midfielders score more goals than strikers eg Ronaldo for their countries or clubs. The only thing is for the coaches to understand their players and develop a system. Why only blame the strikers when defenders allowed 3 goals the other day.It only means the system is a failure and the one employing the system must answer.
Ok Choma1 naumfwa. But whatever the case we cant have a top scorer with 12 goals after 29 games. On average that is 0.41… of goal(s) per game.
Thats not good enough.
12Shi Mulase I get you man.its just like in SA where they had Chriss as top scorer with 15 goals.Goals are not easy to come with in such un competitive leagues as ours. The fans are also to blame, they dont go stadiums to motivate the strikers. Our fans just read from the Newspapers and critisize. Strikers need motivation from a packed stadium.
Choma1 #14 I beg to democratically difffer. I as a soccer fan I pay money to watch local games. Now the strikers must entice me to watch them due to their scoring prowess.Remember olden days of the late Alex Chola, Kalu, Mweetwa, Musonda, Chitalu etc the grounds were packed, people were going to watch their favourite starts. In Europe (UK) where the best defenders are, the top strikers 1/2 the season already are on +10 goals. Here season ending top strikers 12 goals. it shows why Zambia has been failing to score of late. 0 – 0 in DRC and 0 – 3 in Morroco.Dont blame soccer fans. Blame Players.
Pabwato you are a boring man. Have a life please and contribute positively
A Ha, Another weekend of Zambian Soccer, another weekend of comedy.
We should just admit that we dont have good strikers. Mayuka was a marvelous to watch but he is gone and no one is as good as him. Even the midfielders are equally bad, defenders too are poor and indeed its a mess.
FAZ president Kalusha Bwalya is eyeing a position as an executive member of
the Confederations of African Football (CAF) at next year’s election.
Bwalya is contesting the southern region post with COSAFA president Sekatu Patel.
According to a CAF press release, Bwalya and Patel will contest one seat available to the Southern Zone of the continent.
The Emergency Committee of the executive office of CAF met on 17 November 2008, in Douala, Cameroon and endorsed the candidatures for the forthcoming elections.

From Zambia Post. Instead of concentrating on building the team this man has another agenda. Be serious!
15.Mofya The number of people going to the stadiums has decreased terribly, some stadiums have become forests for a country that calls itself a footballing nation.People would rather go to a bar and watch Adebayo who is African
# 10 and 12 Shi Mulase, mwati tamunwinemo lelo mwisho? 0.41 goals??? Were you subtracting ama over-the-bar? By-the-way, 5 out of those 12 goals were penalty kicks. No free kick bwana.
We have a milestone and alot needs to be done from the faz guys. How did we get a coach with no sound record and we expect wonders.Adams would have done a much better job than Kalu, the man always looking for glory and praise where it is not due.
We have two or more problems here. The league back home has no sparks. The Faz chief is selfish that he prefared to bring a ballet dancer instructor as our coach. that man ha never coached and he even know a shape of a ball. The sooner will revamp the second teams in the clubs the better our standards would become.
The National couch who cannot talk about football because he is upset. What else is supposed to talk about?

“He said he did not want to talk about football when approached for an interview.
“For now, the only thing which I can say is to ask everyone to help the team; it’s not possible to talk about football because I am upset,” he said.

mwe bantu twafweni mbesuma has stopped going for training ku club yakwe he has problems with the coach over his fitness. wat shud we do wats yo take on this one
ba zambia national team nomba mabunchafye; they just swing in trousers of real teams like morocco and the rest. lets face it, tuli mabuncha.
I have said it on a couple of times. Football in Zambia has completely collapsed. Our local league is nothing to write home about. Can you imagine in the 70s and 80s teams like ZESCO ( with all due respect) ever chalenging for the title. That was the preserve of Mighty, Buffaloes, Warriors, Nkana and to some extent Power Dynamos. Soccer stadia were getting full every weekend, even mid week. The current scenario is a very sad state of affairs with little or no people watching the Zed league. There must be deliberate action by government to invest in sports by putting up proper infrastructure and persuading the investors with some tax incentive to fully support sports as it was in the past
mbesuma isn´t serious at all, think his coach was rihgt,he just has to work his way through or go back to luanshya for chibuku. He won´t get anything on a silver plate…….things change and that new coach at sundowns whom i guess is much more experienced than Herve knows what he is talking about.Names won´t put you in the first team but performance.
No hard feeling to the boy but guess he grows up
herves is a total failure.
kalusha wants to run fas as he pleases. its a circus!
No no no guys let us not put the blame on the coach but what I have seen is that, players themselves don’t have the determination to win and they don’t just believe in themselves. They’ve gat fear and no ambition. If Zidan can do it and what can stop you from doing it. Well as at now Zambia national team it’s just Christopher katongo, felix katongo and Elijah Tana. Which is dangerous.
The coach needed not to start building a new team because the team has always been there. The way the results have come so far in the hands Herve Renard, honesting speaking ,its disapponting. As sush, i agree with Pastor Peter Makembo ZAVOSOFA President who has given the coach 3 match ultimatum to prove himself failure to which he should pack his bags.
