    Why our players fail trials is because of the basics. we seem not to have basic knowledge football. When playing you also need to use some degree of intelligence. Eg For strikers, good strikers dont just hammer the ball anyhow, if you cant score, its better you hold on to possetion and pass than ballooning all over.

Tunisia v.Holland, cameroun (who refused zambia v.guinea, Bafana V.chile, Egypt who we play V Ghana, even Angola(not in World v.Mali, Malawi v.Mozambique, I.Coast V. turkey, Libya(out of world cup) v. Uruguay and the list goes…catch the drift????

35. I think the only reason why we support Zambia is because of our patrotism and love for Zambia. On many occassions, I have said, I will never support Zambia again. But I keep on changing my mind. In terms of preparations and organisations, Zambia is up to rubbish. Kalu is proving not to be as good as we thought, he was going to be.

40. MINISTER of Communications and Transport Dora Siliya has with immediate effect dissolved Zamtel, National Airports Corporation and Zambia Railways Limited boards.

    The minister announced this in a press statement released in Lusaka yesterday.

    “By the powers vested in my office through Zamtel, National Airports Limited and Zambia Railways Limited Acts, I wish to inform the nation that boards of the above mentioned companies have been dissolved with immediate effect,” she said.

    Ms Siliya said this action had been taken in national interest and also to re-align and improve operations and performance of the companies

50. I can’t imagine our players failing the so called trialz. Wat do u xpect especially that they r just sneekt out? It was unheard of a Zed player fail trialz abroad; Gret Kalu, Msiska, Stone Nyirenda, Johnson Bwalya, Charles Musonda, Jeofrey Mulenga, Abaleya Peter Kaumba, that 1Alex Chola and even Efford Chabala not to mention the first contigent that went to SA and so on. But now….my foot!!!!!

    Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) president Kalusha Bwalya has withdrawn his candidature from contesting the Confederation of African Football executive committee race.

    Bwalya said he withdrew because he feels that he has enough roles to play in the development of football despite not being in Caf’s main executive committee.

    The South Africa 2010 World Cup ambassador added that he also wanted to promote unity in the Council for Southern African Football Associations (Cosafa) region.

    Kalusha was challenging Cosafa president Suketu Patel for the position reserved for the southern region.

Kalu’s thumping was writing on the wall.He should not even cheat that withdrew to bring UNITY in COSAFA or whatever, he had no support.What has he done in FAZ apart from Confusion, his opponent siezed that as a weapon.Kalu should not continue being self centred, but work to uplift Zed football standards which he has failed to do. 59. Egypt is paying Ghana in a friendly match, Both have taken advantage of wednesday being a FIFA sanctioned day of international friendlies to prepare for the upcoming world cup qualifiers. Zambia is very peacefully sleeping, no serious preparatory games. shame.

60. I guess it comes to money…Libya can organize a game with Uruguay. And they are not even in the Africa Cup and World Cup qualifiers. They have foresight…What does, what will it take for Zambia to use some of its resources to actually develop infrastructure. A good stadium in Livingstone, or the CB…use its tourist attributes and market Zambia as a destination. Television rights to market such friendlies…getting companies involved to pay for these teams to Zambia. If the west Africans can do it, why not Zed? Even Burkina Faso hosted an African Cup in 1998. Rwanda coming from genocide just hosted a major tournament..U-20 AYC…Atase!!!

61. the latter is symptomatic of the team….lack confidence, no fighting spirit,when Burkina Faso won rights to host Africa Cup 1998, everyone was skeptical..a sahel country, not much water,..but they persisted and they are on record as having hosted an African event. Zimbabwe which was already endowed with good facilities hosted All africa games..I will not be surprised that they get their act together in one year and get more World cup visitors than zed not because they are closer, but because they will be driven..that hunger, that oomph…zambia has talent..yes..but Angola has made a world cup before us, South Africa has been there, senegal..all teams zambia has schooled before.

62. Atase..Hanish Adams it seems was better than Kalu…He presented a clearer vision on how FAZ could be self-sustaining. Kalusha won on the promise he would use his international contacts to bring zambia football up again. He sounds like the typical African politician looking for handouts. I know he is trying…but his focus must be to square on the task of improving zambian football, the league, youth football, coaching standards. but he is busy vying for more positions. Did we elect this man to run for a CAF position in his first year in charge of a national association? Atase.

    Ba Kalu should be teaching in some capacity in Zed football, and leave the administrating to pipo who Know. Where’s tom Mtine. David Phiri, Kazabu .

65. we are going round in cirles ba zed,I have always said this,bad coach good coach we need a consistant team that doesnot change .we only change in the major areas were we need improvements like strikers and defenders.IF you notice all the successful teams in africa and around the world do not regulary change there team.I wil give examples these are Cameroon and tunisia.Lets try to do what our friends are doing then we will go somewhere. :d
