All of Power’s goals came in the first half of the match to hand their Egyptian-born coach Mohamed Fathy his first cup honor since announcing his arrival on the Zambia football scene last season.
Both of Power’s goals came from midfielders with Joseph Sitali giving the Kitwe side the lead in the 2nd minute before Luka Lungu made it 2-0 in the 43rd minute.
Power’s victory on Saturday is their first cup honor since 2004 when they also lifted the same title after beating Zanaco 2-1 in the final played at Sunset Stadium in Lusaka.
Very good show Power dynamos. We are still mourning the Chipolopolo Boys. Its bad. I had put a lot on that one.
Mmm..Jamaco iwe, how much exactly did you put on them? Looks like Power Dynamos are still as dynamic as they used to be when I was a small boy. Good show indeed.
Ba Power you have started well, hope you continue winning
Iwe, y such kind of a name. Thats the problem with people who want to clain what they do not have…lol! but wankumbwisha.
Bo’la pa Zed epo yaba?? aha, the players now very difficult to know who they are. With the companies closing who is sponsoring football now? strange that only Power has survived premeir league soccer this year. Nkana kaya!
