Zambia is in safe hands with RB – Chimembe

Share

rb_arrivalLusaka MMD Lusaka Provincial Chairman Cleophas Chimembe has said the nation is in safe hands under the leadership of his Excellency President Rupiah Banda.

Speaking in an interview after addressing MMD District, Constituency and ward Officials in Kafue at the weekend Mr. Chimembe stated that it will be dangerous to entrust this nation in wrong hands because some people have no agenda for this nation.

Mr. Chimembe said that those who were advocating for the impeachment of the president were just wasting their time because they have no agenda for this nation. He said the president has done nothing wrong for him to be impeached.

He said he was happy that the party is still strong in Kafue despite facing some challenges due to lack of communication. He said that he was happy by the high turn out of members at the meeting and the party in the district has resolved to bury their differences and forge ahead.

Mr. Chimembe said that the purpose of the meeting was to meet and work out a program to start reorganizing the party from the wards to the district level. He said the Area Member of Parliament Hon. Bradford Machila together with other councilors will start visiting all the wards in Kafue to implement programs which the MMD government has initiated.

He said elections at lower organs will start in July and the provincial leadership is just waiting for guidelines from Chairman for Elections Mr. Mike Mulongoti. He said the program of elections had to be suspended due to the death of the late President Dr. Levy Patrick Mwanawasa last year.

And Kafue Area Member Of Parliament Hon. Bradford Machila said that he was happy that the party in Kafue has resolved to work together and deliver development to the people. He said he will be going round to all the wards in his area to monitor all the projects which received constituency development funds (CDF).

Mr. Machila who is also Minister of Agriculture in-charge of Fisheries and Livestock said that the ruling party is still active in Kafue and it is foolish for somebody to think that the party does not exist. He said the party will scoop 2011 elections because it is the only party with the grass root.

And Kafue MMD District Chairman Mr. Goodson Sansakuwa has said that the party will discipline any one found campaigning now to be adopted for the 2011 elections. He said there is no time for campaigning because the incumbent is still in office.

  1. I don’t think we are safe in hands of fontine leaders like Banda. I’m not seeing any recovery program from him.

  2. Zo ona Ba Moze this is bootlicking at it’s best. He knows he would be instantly sacked if he ever said the opposite.

  3. awe mayo!!!…

please please…whatever you do dont vote for rupiah..please….

We are suffering…as youth can we get the MMD out…!!!!…..Anybody but Rupiah…..!!!…Further, if the rumors are true about Maureen Mwanawasa..please lets shout loud for her to be the next running mate for the party…..She is the only “true Zambian”…who could help us………If she once in a while stepped in for our BIG BOSS….

  4. Hmmm! safe hands? this is news to me…. does the mentioned cadre know the meaning of ‘safe hands’????

  5. Bushe aba ama cadres, do they have normal jobs if at all there any or they are just boo licking? Ka VJ eka letelela ama Zambians? I think he meant to say you are in a safe NOSE.

  6. This cadre is literally using the term safe to refer to himself! Any view contrast to this would mean his arse is grass, and RB would be the lawn mower!!

  7. Kafupi’s fingers were longer than his whole body. Small body big….aaah, ask Danny Auntie Josephine.

  8. Hmmm!! its blablabla! haha supporting one of yo own???????
MMD, yu have even started buying mobile clinics despite all the criticisms, but simumvela, bwezani and the crew, anyway days are numbered.

  9. 936 miners have been trenched today, and the list is still adding on to the 10,000, who lost their jobs. RB has never said anything about it . and someone who gets tax payers money comes out to say we are safe with RB. MA RUBBISH AYO

  10. How many days has RB being in office? what has he done? All we hear is he is going there and there and going, it seems like he is running away from problems at the office.

  11. The problem with the so called RB is that he has no vision and what is worse is that his advisors dont think. Rumour has that the Doctor support RB decision to buy the mobile hospitals is a cousin to the First Lady and you know what?No matter how much we criticise the president’s decision, he will still go ahead and buy the Mobile Hospitals. The first family is just interested in enriching itself. KALILO

  12. This guy is such a boooty licker, what a shame. Can he give us examples of what RB has done since being in office.? these are the same yes Bwana, yes Bwana, even if Bwana is wrong.

  13. # 17 Ba mwisho, mwandi things are bad in zed and then someone coming to say ati we are safe hands. i feel so ashmed at the way these old people sink so low just to keep their jobs they end up praising wrong people.

  14. #23 you are definately right. This man has failed to give even just one simple statement to give us hope and yet he is busy trying to solve the problems Zimbabwe is facing. Its like we have no leader. If i had the power, i can just go wip him and his advisors and drive him out of state house and back to his farm. They are so unreasonable.

  15. #29 ckc , RB has changed his name to Mr No Good. He thinks he is still vice president, no mani you are the president , so get on with the job.

  16. There is something wrong with the Lusaka Province MMD Chairman, does he really know what he is talking about. There are better things he is supposed to telling Kafue residents. What development is he talking about when MMD from the word go since 1991 has destroyed all major industires in Kafue. Pipo in Kafue need permanent solutins to their social and economic problems. For survival most Kafue residents have resorted to burning charcoal as one way of survival. The next thing we are going to hear is that NCZ has been sold to a foreign investor who will end selling massive steel as scrap to Universal Chemicals. Just wait and see you will prove me right.

  17. Iwe chiChimembe, people are loosing jobs every day, others have nothing to eat and all you can say is that we are in safe hands.are you really ok? or may be Mr No Good has given u love portion that you cannot think straight. You and Mr No Good should Wake up from your dreams and face reality.

  18. Why is Chimembe so bothered about calls for Rupiah’s impeachment? If Rupiah has not done anything wrong why make such a fuss?

  19. Pa zed mwalitemwa Thomas mufibala. At seeing is believing you want to see RB bring us to the depth of poverty and then you will start saying that at least we have proof that he is a failure.
People with a vision and foresight have already seen that RB being surrounded by his Kunda, Teta, Ronnie, VJ, etc, is taking us backwards. To avoid is better than to regret mwe Bantu.
    Chimembe yena kalilo, twilamukonkelesha.

  20. These cadres realy get on my nerves.Apart from traveling every 2weeks and geting alowancez please enlighten us on RBs vision.Ine ichifukushi, awe mwe!

  21. Some people the way they whine?@** Was it RB who brought about the world financial crisis. People are losing jobs even in the first world ala. Stop crying and do something instead. I wonder if goats people understand the language of goats.

  22. For now, stop crying like goats, work and survive. Dont be cry baby cries all the time, spoiled brats.

  23. OK what is the alternative, please dont mention SATA, but your thinking and language is similar to SATA’s therefore I will not be shocked if you have him in mind. That is simply your dream and fantancy. Dream on!

  24. Zed is in safe hands indeed!!! Mopani has just laid off over 900 miners. What is really annoying is that, there is so much empty land per Zed. Can’t the Gov’t create a settlement apportion some land say 5 or 10 hectares give it to miners that are willing to cultivate the land. i know its not as simple as i put it but the Gov’t must accomodated such individuals by empowering them with subsidized land and farming impliments. Lets at least have a plan then talk of safe hands iwe Chimembe!

  25. ckc like you have, the demons need to be driven out these chaps by whipping them. This should start with kamwendo munjila

  26. Chimembe waba ibunya. Talk sense mwana coz you are serving Zambians as a minister but no your intrest.

  27. #46 find a better name coz you cannot call yourself zed elo tatwakwishiba. Do it fast before tatulakulasa ifyebo mumbwe iwe.

  28. Asernal fans die with your team like what your freind in Kenya has done. Why ukusosa imitima so up to now you are still alive .

  29. But balifitemwisha bamudala. Ngabaimya amaboko nishi nabwena bwaina??????? Nadabwa and its like mudala alisungapo

  30. Mulenga iwe uli wansunko and why telling the world that you are in Oldcastle? Uliwakumushi. Ponyax is in Nchelenge but he is just zeeeeeeeeeeee. Don`t make me bost to the world about my place

  31. ichibwamba nalikwata and nendalama nichipumu. mwaiche ukofwa bwino pantu chikalowa and me i ve never used a condom coz i know its a big sin

  32. I dont support MAN U if barca went thru fair and squre i would have supported them but with todays bad decisions from the useless refering i am all MAN U

  33. just enjoy the poor zambians’ resources silently…. we know u are bootlickers….tired and fed up with people like u

  34. Because we CHELSEA have been knocked out of the champions leaguer by playing 12 vs 11 then 11 on 11 later on i can enjoy the castle i got from the SA shop with pride. We where cheated out of the game by refering from norway “NOWHERE” becuse he doenst understand the game and he is an agent of UEFA i hope he rots in hell

  35. Rocket Scientist Maestro Hhehhehhehhe - ndeezwa ku-musanza for Zambians in the 2011 tripartite National elections Rocket Scientist Maestro Hhehhehhehhe - ndeezwa ku-musanza for Zambians in the 2011 tripartite National elections

What is happening with my “Zambia is in very safe hands witrh President RB Banda as our leader”?

  36. Rocket Scientist Maestro Hhehhehhehhe - ndeezwa ku-musanza for Zambians in the 2011 tripartite National elections Rocket Scientist Maestro Hhehhehhehhe - ndeezwa ku-musanza for Zambians in the 2011 tripartite National elections

Indeed Zambia is in, very, safe hands with Zimbabwean born President RB Banda as our number one man.

On “Mr. Machila … also Minister of Agriculture in-charge of Fisheries and Livestock said that the ruling party is still active in Kafue and it is f o o l i s h for somebody to think that the party does not exist. He said the party will scoop 2011 elections because it is the only party with the grass root“, is showing the whole world poor leadership qualities in President RB Banda who has appointed two ministers to run the Ministry of Agriculture in the names of Minister Brian Chituwo and Minister Bradford Machila.
Whoever is President RB Banda’s ADVISOR has got it all wrong over this one.
On the elections of 2011, time will tell and so no panic MMD and all the best.

  37. Digital Smoke my friend i am drowning my sorrows in a fews castles i managed to get to celebrate a chelsea win but it was not to be

  38. maestro whats that nonsense of rocket science, you should have sought some career guidance.where you staying near the airport when you were growing up?

  39. Rocket Scientist Maestro Hhehhehhehhe - ndeezwa ku-musanza for Zambians in the 2011 tripartite National elections Rocket Scientist Maestro Hhehhehhehhe - ndeezwa ku-musanza for Zambians in the 2011 tripartite National elections

87, Digital Smoke greetings and thanks. On your “maestro whats that nonsense of rocket science, you should have sought some career guidance“, I am a normal PHYSICIST with an undergrad educatio from UNZA. My further studies, all done outside Zambian universities, are majors in Astrophysics and Space Sceince and then Aerospace (Rocket/Suborbital and Orbital shuttle vehicles in particular) science, International (Space and General) Law, Business and Project Management ; and informal cookery.

As for “where you staying near the airport when you were growing up?” I was born near a power generating plant in the Southern province of Zambia. Thus, I was motivated to study Electrical Engineering. Nevertheless, the good Lord God had another better plan. YOU CHECK?

  40. two ministers and two deputies what a joke for what all these people in place.anywez political jobs. zambia y zambia y……………….but zo-ona ye

  41. Zambia is safe on its own. Chimembe has been waiting for his appointment and seeing its not coming he now starts to open his trap to attract RBs attention.

  42. Velepi M’tonga, just like the Brig. Gen at maina Soko, I think her name is Kazembe, is also related to Rupiah. If Velepi is related to Thandiwe, then Thandiwe must also related to RBB. I know someone who is related to both M’tonga and Kazembe and also to Rupiah. Nichibululu chovuta apa.

  43. Greetings too maestro, so you are concerned with rockets which launch spacecraft into or operate in outer space. Its good that you also studied some
mechanics(fluid mechanics, structural mechanics, orbital mechanics, flight dynamics), physics, mathematics, control engineering, materials science, aeroelasticity, avionics, reliability engineering, noise control, flight test), and stuff like that, I advise you to branch into structural mechanics or dynamics if you really want to lean towards great knowledge that will put you on the map.

My point is why do you like advertising your qualifications?is it necessary?Great people are known for their simplicity, its not about what you have but how much you are able to contribute with what you have.

  44. Rocket Scientist Maestro Hhehhehhehhe - ndeezwa ku-musanza for Zambians in the 2011 tripartite National elections Rocket Scientist Maestro Hhehhehhehhe - ndeezwa ku-musanza for Zambians in the 2011 tripartite National elections

96, Digital Smoke thanks and on your “My point is why do you like advertising your qualifications?is it necessary?Great people are known for their simplicity, its not about what you have but how much you are able to contribute with what you have.“, I thought you asked on #87 and I was just replying to you.

On contribution, I still contributing to Zambia in particular and the whole Earth in general.

Who knows, Zambia might just need an air defence system like the US’ National Missile defence shield (LO) one day. ZAF also might need my services. To the rest of the world, space technologies are still an option to improve human life (i.e., Satellite communication).
On qualifications, Zambians need qualified people to stir the country into the right direction.

  45. You are right dear,Maestro I think you can make a good leader if only you can work towards it, cause I see more transparency ,openess and thinking skills in you,its time the young bloods took over,God bless you.

  46. Rocket Scientist Maestro Hhehhehhehhe - ndeezwa ku-musanza for Zambians in the 2011 tripartite National elections Rocket Scientist Maestro Hhehhehhehhe - ndeezwa ku-musanza for Zambians in the 2011 tripartite National elections

98 Digital Smoke thanks and lets move on. Zambia does not lack leaders. See Zambian watchdog on the Dambisa Moyo excerpt.

We as a Nation need to appreciate education, transparency and ability so that e start moving on. Basically, we are on the right track as a young democracy and hence, let us unite to develop our great nation Zambia.
Just on Clive Chirwa (Prof.) (PhD, UK), our good academic man must help the media to start referring to him properly as Clive Chirwa (Prof. of Boston University in UK) for he is not a Prof in Zambian politics, but at an ACADEMIC INSTITUTION in UK.

In all, I am here to sensitise Zambians about the correct way of addressing people and issues so that we as a Nation focus on socio-economic development as opposed to titles and personalities.

  47. LT, why do you allow pipo like ponyax to blog? block such pipo. LT is not just read by older pipo but young ones too. what do you want young ones to learn from the minds of pipo like ponyax? Ponyax, if you have nothing to write about just sleep of continue swallowing you beans that you swallow everyday or overdose yourself so you ruin other people’s mind.
