THE Patriotic Front (PF) in Southern Province has lashed out at former party general secretary Edward Mumbi accusing him of insincerity.
PF Provincial Coordinator, Opper Hamiyanze, said in Choma today that Mr Mumbi was an ungrateful man who had been offered a job by President Micheal Sata out of humility.
“The fact that he was given a job, we expected him to serve the party with sincerity. Mumbi actually contributed to the loss of the party in the last presidential elections,” said Mr Hamiyanze in reaction to Mr Mumbi’s statement that Mr Sata had not properly managed funds meant for campaign programmes in the October 30, 2008 presidential by-elections.
Mr Hamiyanze said the PF had assigned Mr Mumbi to travel to South Africa to witness the printing of ballot papers for the presidential poll but failed to give back a report on what transpired there.
“He betrayed the party and we did not expect him to begin betraying us further after leaving the PF,” he said.
“We do not even understand when he says president Sata is greedy. To us, it is him who is greedy because he was eating with both hands.”
He said Mr Mumbi had never been a councilor or a member of parliament to understand the intricacies of running a party.

Political ng’wang’wazi a usual.. washing dirty linen in public.. why didnt this Opper Hamiyanze spill this beans before?
#1, should read……. as usual…
Let’s be quiet on this one. Not worth commenting.
It is typical of Zedian politicians to talk when its always too late. Most of these chaps are just selfish characters who are there to make money and a name for themselves. These are cheap and immature politics being exhibited by these chaps. Politicians in Zambia must learn to be mature and stop washing linen in public. Thats why the electorate does not even trust anyone anymore. Ba swine!
Come on PF lets just organise our party for 2011.Lets ignore the insignificant Mumbi.PABWATO!!
It seems PF is now panicking. Mumbi has revealed a lot of news about Sata and now PF is confused and is panicking.
The PF is slowly disintegrating. First we had the issue of “rebel MP’s”, then you had the issue of Copperbelt cadres calling for a convention and now you have Mumbi spilling the beans on Sata.
If PF is not careful, the fight in 2011 will be between MMD and UPND. Let’s wait and see what is to come.
its sad to learn what is happenning in the nation as people wjsh to be heard. i really dont understand what is happenning in our political setting. one fact is that zedian politicians are really uneducated. mr mumbi is an example of such. this man has been quite all along since he was fired. do we only speak when we are fired? it also reminds of Nevers and others who spilled issues connected to Mwanawasa after being fired. i think its not time to entertain such people. yes they have the right to speak at the same time they have the duty to peform. if you cant perform your duties you simply lose your rights to be heard as well. how long does it take to speak out the wrong? this man from south is wise as usual his words re timely and should be noted and i wonder so dont bully his reflection
Musativute!
All presidential aspirants must hold at least first degree hons. (from recognised institution)
Peace be still, so said the man from space and settled on River Galilee. let Zambia be for Genuine Zambians, that transcends , colour and language The Truth ,only the Truth shall liberty Zambia.
Who tells you that PF is disintergrating? If anything thats when our party is growing stronger. Come 2011,PF will have more supporters than ever before, because we shall have voters cards a lot of us and Vote the only Michael Chifya Sata. The mmd is punicking and today in the paper,we have read about the document which has been found where they ploted how to finish Sata. They know that Sata is a heavy weight and come 2011 they can see trouble. Then you thats when you say PF is disntergrating, keep on dreaming.
Any Canisian on the BLOG?……HAPPY 60th ANNIVERSARY
Good thought indeed . How about King Shaka of the Zulu clan
Are the Zambian people going to eat degrees? What have the people with degrees done so far for Zambia.Dont just talk like you are not okay up there.Zambia needs a man who can deliver. If you think like Mulongoti thats your problem.
No14..you sound like a victim…look yourself in the mirror and grow up!
If a republican president should hold a recognised degree, what kind of picture is that goingto confer upon those that where not as blessed or fortunate enough to be able to attain such an honour in life. Think before you speak not just because others are fearing that a candidate will beat them in the next coming elections hence them trying to play under handed political tactisc No# 9. Why should the privildged undermine those that suffered to attain properity in life and are in a position to stand for the state presidency. A degree does not make the best president, a lot more factors play a major part in that. regarding this political prostitutes press conference, why was he silent when he was in the PF party. This is all unjustified childish, and petty malicious behaiviour
Casey you have serious issues.
Sense , it makes for all the Litungas have had a first degree strangely though no university does/do exist in western province/Litunga land..
You are right but look at the bigger picture.16
Most civil servants have MAs and MScs at the moment in GRZ departments….how do you supervise them….? C’mon guys! be realistic…
PF ,UPND or MMD is and should not be the subject. The Zambian Masses ARE .Just Like we say the Americans , the British and so we say , The great Zambians people…..
If obama had no University Education , would he have be an American president?
what Victim of myself are you talking about? Am well educated and by the grace of God,i eat whatever i want at anytime. But am speaking for the poor Zambians just like Sata always does.Thats why when i see people trying to discredit Sata like you are doing,i dont like it. Sata will be voted by us the educated and the un educated.Whether he has a degree or not we love.
23: your comments sound scary….I refuse to dabate with immotionally charged people….But kindly learn to see beyong your nose….you dont lose anything!.
Cheers!
Sata is old had his chance and lamentably lost it . It is good bye to plot one .Greediness yes
What academic qualifications does Jacob Zuma hold, a more developed country than Zambia? SA people voted for him not bec of his BAs, MAs PHDs, but because of his capability to lead SA to greater heights.
Chewe the Virgin
But am speaking for the poor Zambians just like Sata always does.
You are not speaking for the poor, you are speaking for Sata. It is unfortunate that not everyone has an opportunity to get a university level education and I sympathize with them. That is the sole reason we must put a university level educated person in power so he/she can bring about policies that can empower the poor so they can be able to send their young into university.
Human capital is very important and if we are to grow as a nation, we must get the best most qualified people into govt. The ones that understand monetary and fiscal reform instead of petty name calling and conspiracy theories. [tbc
Zuma upholds unity , where as King Snake produces division.
26: Wait and see what will happens to RSA shortly….Besides, Jay Zee didn’t develop SA…he is riding on the already emergent foundation bro!
MMD was founded on thinking ideology , should we miss this path , we are lost as a Zambian Nation
JZ has publicly kissed Winnie….Hahahahaha…wait and see with that man’s libido in Pretoria an white house, or state house whtever they call it. Aready, nobody knows who’s gonna be his first lady…..and he has just got a son…6 months old…..Ask Mutworld nice guy.
We must have a leader who can understand what he is signing when going to conjure up trade deals with other nations so we cannot be at the losing end. We must have leaders that can analyze long term benefits of certain projects and the importance of budget discipline. We must have leaders who are willing to dialogue with various stakeholders and can understand every form of legal document given to them for approval. We need a university educated president so he/she can steer the country forward so the poor can be empowered and maybe aspire for university education themselves.
Stephen Harper the Canadian Prime Minister, university educated, Barack Obama, university educated, why must we settle for less.
What people must realize is that Zambian politics is evolving. During the time of LPM (university educated), we saw great achievements in the economy of Zambia. Now we have a development economist in charge and I am confident we shall see policies that will spearhead development in Zambia.
We need educated minds to spearhead development in the nation.
Come 2011 ,RB to the Farm where he belongs and sata as a political observer in Zambia……………….
Nayenda ogona…Peace to all of you guys!
Wiseman reborn even if Sata gets to 100 years and decides to stand. I would still vote for him.So what you are saying about him having had his chance and its over to plot.Thats your thinking.Continue dreaming, come 2011 we shall vote for him.
Free.Market- Economist , A wonder you are.
#26 Tumelo, Tumelo, Tumelo, pliz napalapasa osatomola iyo zina cifukwa niyacabe cabe. Lomapano akayambe kutiwuzya ati mukosamba na ebu mukafuma kucigololo.
Chewe the Virgin, My Dad is over 100 years. I know what old age means .sata is not the person.
NO# 26 Tumelo Men of little moral aptitude erode concrete foundations, oh! yes he shall gain wealth, yes Zuma shall enpower citizens; but the wrong shall be put in place like the nepotistic foundations Kaunda set for Zambia. And like no# 29 Casey Khisho said, Jay zee of south Africa has benefitted from on riding on the pre-existing foundations. It is the Same with his cousin, Jay Z in America, he has benefitted from the foundation that others of a notable and worthy persona left for him. Look what he did to Hip hop, destroyed it with his southern cronies to degrade women and black people on observation. Remember when Music in general was great when talent was in abundance. The mid ninties and before had people like Lauryn hill/Mandela but now we have Zuma/Jay Z.
What is Right with Jacob Zuma, everything , My thinking. We debate, what is wrong with RB going to the farm and the Snake becoming mature……………………South Africa
Wow! people on here today seem angry! just chill guys, no need to be sounding bitter on here…
PF circus time! Sata need to be careful with Opper Hamiyanze because he is a double-faced villain with human blood in his hands. President Anderson Mazoka must be turning in his grave after buying too much deception from Opper only to be his killer. Hamiyanze deserves no extra day in paradise. Him and Bishop Chihana two callous moles dedicated their lives to expedite death of Mazoka from the day Mazoka called Lusaka Bishops to a press conference at Malende House. When the late Bishop Samson Phiri of Chilenje Pentecostal Holiness rebuked them, they reported him to FJT blocking their project. Hamiyanze was a mole in Anderson Mazoka upto his grave.
Until Kelvin Ndila Mazoka’s security Chief exposed Opper, he wanted to continue his errands on HH. His PF migration came as a desperate and opportunistic option at the 11th hour in hope that MMD would lax and let the impossible of Sata’s candidacy going through out of the 2008 bye-election.
Any politician need be careful with Bishop Chihana and this Opper Hamiyanze two chap obsessed of money. In some Sharia law enforced societies, they qualify to have their eyes plucked out and hands chopped.
Apologies Editor.
Chewe the virgin is a PF fundamentalist – cant see that the bwato sunk a long time ago.
Mr Malila, the Attorney General, has acknowledged receipt of Mr Silwamba’s letter of Dora’s intention to seek judicial review and has engaged one Professor Patrick Mvunga to represent his office. Mvunga is the country’s foremost constitutional lawyer, Dora is a dead bird, in the nest, period!
Eric Silwamba may be another chap busy misleading the masses. If the tribunal does have powers given to them by virtue of section14(8) of the parliamentary and ministerial code of conduct, why are they wasting tax payers money to challenge the tribunal? does it mean these high court and supreme court judges have a very high propensity to err? then am left with no option because if they are found wanting by the body they represent, then how many cases have they judged wrongly and how many people may be serving sentences due to this error in making decisions by these lawyers the chief justice appointed? or shud we say abash the law association of zambia for giving us mediocre lawyers who are interested in making allowances yet they commit innocent ones to prison? how are we going to know that
contd from 49
justice is neutral and does not look on the face of the accused?
lets assume, the tribunal loses the case, what happens to Dora and the tribunal lawyers? or will the petitioners come on the scene again? i for one would like to know what the tribunal meant when they alluded to fraud as not part of the hearings and kept reminding mr kabimba that such was an issue with ACC or auditor generals office. as far as i remember, such an issue is still pending as the petauke accounts books are still not reflecting that money. imagine how much money was involved yet not a single govt official receipt was given. so how does dora and mboyi prove to the masses if we have regina failing to prove how she got the color tv toshiba?
#9 Casey KidAll presidential aspirants must hold at least first degree hons. (from recognised institution). IT APPEARS ALL YOU SMALL MEN ARE AFRAID OF SATA. WHEN LPM WAS ALIVE YOU TALKED ABOUT AGE, NOW THAT YOUR RB IS OLDER THAN SATA YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT DEGREES. WHAT A SHAME. KK THE MAN WHO LIBERATED YOU HAD ONLY REACHED GRD 9 WHILE PEOPLE WITH DEGREES WERE HIDING. MUGABE HAS 6 DEGREES BUT HAVE NOT SEEN HOW HE HAS DISORGANISED THAT ONCE BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY? DONT CHANGE WITH THE WIND. DEGREES MY ASS. SHOW US WHAT YOU HAVE DONE TO DEVELOP THIS COUNTRY WITH YOUR PAPERS
Iwe Jelita who told you that the boat is sinking? If your brain is sinking dont think the same is happening to the bwato you hear?
by 2011 i will hold 3 degrees, a bachelor and two masters. but come what may i am surely giving my vote to the “illitrate” michael sata……may God bless him with long life
mumbi is a cheap politician full of hallucinations. anyway we shall understand his desparation for finances. He is not only poor financially bankrupt but intellectually corrupt as well . To hell with you Mumbi. Concentrate on your family matters not national issues. You aint popular at all.Blind follower of silly policies
#6 I agree with you. PF will be in political oblivion by 2011. Their MCS is now a chief mourner. He is at every funeral. What a pResident???? HH has also been contaminated by the highly contagious disease from MCS, INSULTAISIS, a disease that causes the inflamation of the brain hence being very insultive.lol. BashiKapwasha nabo nkanshi ninshi? Pastor to thug sure!!! We shall join the journalists to start beating the MMD thugs. Careful bwana Minister, there are more pipthan your members. You are just a small fraction, careful
Fellow Zambians by 2011 MMD will clock 20 years in power. Now, the question is what tangible results have we seen in this government? We are talking in terms of schools, roads, hospitals (permanent hospitals and not mobile ones), housing, low, medium, high cost housing construction and economic growth. Kindly make independent comparisons and you will find the answers before 2011. We had UNIP and we all know what these guys did in 27 years. But now we have MMD (20 years) and we all know what our fellow Zambians are now doing.
Some people are really in love with King Cobra that they can’t see beyond sata, how sad!!!
icintu chintu tumwene ,mulekeni Sata ateke……..hah hah ha ha he heh he he hhoh hoh oh oho…….kwena ba PF mulaloota!…wake up ,Sata will NEVER NEVER NEVER be presido!
was kind of off air for 2 weeks…what did Mumbi say?
#51 Déjà Vu: I think people are afraid of “King Cobra’s” loose mouth and politics of division. There is no harm in loving the man if you so wish, but there is a danger in your seeming worship of the man. Sata is no saint nor is he a savior; preordained to save Zambia. He is simply a politician who maybe playing you all for fools. I agree with you that education (a college degree) is not everything in determining who becomes a good leader, but it sure helps. In this increasingly complex world we live in, and our children are going to inherit, it would be comforting to have a President who at least has a basic appreciation of the workings of the Global Markets and Global Capital Investments.
continue from #60……… To have a leader or Presidential aspirant whose first impulses are to insult, threaten, and attack the very people who are bringing foreign capital investments into the country (the Chimes) is scary—nothing against the man himself but his lack of vision. Come up with better counterproposals and solutions to Zambia’s problems than that of the other Parties; maybe, then, the majority of Zambians will give him a chance at the helm. By the way, people with degrees in Zambia have not been able to fully contribute to her development because of CORRUPTION, NEPOTISM, and ECONOMIC POLICY INATIA caused mostly by political cronyism.
continued from #61….. And, I dare say, CONTEMPT FOR THE EDUCATED in Zambian politics and government. The last portion of your posting is a clear testament to what I have just stated, sir. The thinking by most Zambian politicians, it seems to me, is that if you put, in key government positions, a bunch of uneducated people who don’t know exactly what they are supposed to be doing; you have a chance to steal millions of public funds with very little or no consequences at all. And you wonder why well educated, relatively young, Zambians are frustrated and reluctant to go into Politics, or work for the government?
continued from #62…….. Put in place good incentives to attract the best and the brightest, and watch how quickly, and for the better, Zambia turns around. “Stone age” politics and economic policies are the culprits, not people with college degrees.
pheuwiiiiuuuu Yambayamba!! That is mune.
Ok Casey let me ask you, what have we got from all these educated ministers? Nothing but corruption if you ask me. Papers do not make a leader. What we need are people with the right heart felt passion to be of service to the nation, people who have archieved their goals iin life and do not just want to sponge of the state and make themselves rich. Today these so called educated figures in government just use their expertise to steal and reap all the little resources that our beautiful nation has. Speaking of educated men, wasnt the current president head of a n ow defunct bank. Have his businesses also not failed and people expect him to run a country? I say again, papers and qualifications do not make a leader, the love for ones country being fullfil a noble cause does.
the sad part of this is that it is only being suggested so that sata does not run exactly the same way that chiluba tried to make it that kaunda did not stand in the elections against at point in time if you remember. So you see the cycle of cheap fearful politics continues by the mmd
Let me know what you think Casey Khisho
Chiwamila Galu kuluma Mbuzi.
#38 , #68, Mwanisekesa maningi ….hehheh
Opper again, yaba. Continue speaking out for PF, but vote wisely as you do Mr Opper H.

Knowing from experience that Mr Chiluba FTJ (Hon Doc, Malawi) then an undereducated man ran a GRZ full of educated men save for the Undereducate Sata which failed Zambians terribly, the questions to ask onself are that:
1. Did the educate men under Chiluba as President fail us or Chiluba himself failed Zambians because he did not take their advice?2. Did they join fromer President Chiluba as men with questionable characters or their characters became compromised as they failed to control him when he had absolute Zambian Nation power?3. Didn’t credible men like late former Pres. LP Mwanawasa resign when they saw that Chiluba wasn’t taking their advice seriously to maintain their integrity?
Knowing this now, why MUST Zambians allow an Undereducate Sata MC to do similar things?
71 continued.
Fellow Zambians, what is the use of experience if it is not taken serious to improve our lives?.
Do we really want to see Zambia develop or we want (need) to steal Zambian GRZ money also just because others are accused of having stolen it? Bane, let us be serious with the lives of all Zambians as Zambia is too badly mismanaged with a weak Republican Constitution to be wholesomely placed in the Undereducate Sata MC’s hands a President> I am hoping the project by some characters working to destroy the Undereducate’s chances of ever becoming Zambian President will succeed so that those with bad memories can be helped to vote wisely in 2011 elections. have a blessed day you all.

Iwe Mumbi all this time you were quite but now since you have been given a bag of mealie meal, salt and saladi then mwayamba kukamba kamba. ala
