  1. Retirees and farmers are spending endless nights waiting for payments while those at the wheel are busy accumulating wealth through corruption, “workshops” and sensless trips!

  2. Pic#1. Gee, that’s sad. Zambia has always produced enough maize. Problem has to do with the grain marketing policy or lack thereof.

  3. #3 i seriosuly think george kunda is one of the best dressed zambian politicians, those suits are hopefully not from the zamtrop account….lol

  4. #7 GRZ is never serous about strategic agriculture. And we sing songs of hunger and poverty in Africa when God has blessed us with so much abandent and fertile land and natural minerals. We serously deserved to be laughed at by other races. UAE compared to African oil producing countries. We should ask ourselves is it Dumbness or pure greediness? I rest my case!

  5. Nice Pictures.. they tell a story…. I feel so so sorry for the poor farmers… Govt sure, atleast people have made an effort to farm these commodities so cant they atleast be bought.. There is this situation in Kasama then you also hear reports that there isnt enough maize in zambia.. how does that work? Retireers… No comment

  6. Iam a bit worried about sending back the one in pic 13 into our communities. iam not convinced that he has reformed.

  7. GRZ should do something about retirees, fud reserve agency should be a bit serious pliz, and they think these pipo came all the wy 4rom their respective homes carrying the sacks of maize 4 free, cos some dont even have trucks

  8. Post Newpaper Friday, 31 Jul 2009 -6 Mopani Copper Mines employees died after the bus they were in overturned on the Kitwe Chingola Road and plunged into the Mwambashi River on July 25th afternoon. Copperbelt police confirmed the accident and said that the Toyota Hiace minibus registration number ABJ 3657 overturned after the driver lost control owing to excessive speed.

The injured were taken to Wusakile Mine Hospital while the bodies of the dead were taken to Kitwe Central Hospital mortuary.

He said that the bus was coming from Kitwe where the employees had gone to play social football.

  9. Pic#12 & 16. Whoever designed hairpieces has helped millions of women with either adornment or disguise of their hair following hair loss, grey hair or a bad hair day.

  10. Picture 17 , Angela Cifire, Are things ok? I thought she used to be quite hot? Anyway, look at her Jacket sleeves folded! Why not buy the right size, you’d think she can afford it going by the assets she declared (Claimed to be worth more than RB at the time) a few yrs ago. George
Kunda, you do not button all 3 suit buttons, just the middle one, or top one if it has two buttons. These are petty comments i know, but please indulge me, its Friday afterall.

  11. Someone please help me i have 10 kids and 5 wives but no money to feed them .. I am so confused. thats why i joined the blog. i have no intention of contributing anything sensible..thats why i was ranting on Chishimbas blog

  12. Pics no 14 is a matter of time before he returns kwamene? Where is my man Maestro Ngombe Ilede I have not blogged for some time due some commitments
    Howz Ms Daisy?

  13. # 20 they died on the spot. Pic 6 Thandiwe is slowly getting into the dress code of the rich and famous. Nice suit. Needs to hang out more with Maureen and Masebo. I understand Masebo has been like that from her UNZA days

  14. Ba LT bambi mulebeta ati ‘labourer’ bambi ati ‘workers’ pantu nafwala amajacket. I think labourer is a very derogatory term, its like calling someone ‘gardenboy’.You didn’t take any pictures of journalists being beaten at the airport?where was your photographer when all was going on?

  15. Hate him or love him, this future convict ( George Kunda) looks damn sharp in that picture. I am sure he is a “damn good vice president”.

  16. Ba Thandiwe, you are disappointing us with that hair girl!?Find another hair dresser! nice suit though,,,,

  17. #29… i also think sometimes these guys use derogatory terms mwe… as if we are in colonial times…..peasants, labourers..LT (Yashani) how are you nhuh?

  18. Miss Daisy looking great as usual and # 4 me too am very impressed with the prisoners i think they have good meals too. Thandiwe i hope you are doing something constructive there…I hope that Hydraform will be used more in Zambia to put up beautiful buildings

  19. Hullo Ba Madame Lara @ 30,. How are you to day?? Ba Thandie coming up in Pic #6. The suit is taking shape. Ba Miss Daisy @ 32, thats a cool new pic too>>great!!

  20. Good for the release prisoners and free Mrs TB.
At Lusaka Central Park at Farmers House where PF has its secretariat and you will be amazed to find that the picture which has Sata (Grade 2/6, unknown) written Sata for 2011 President or so has been removed and replaced with another picture that has both Sata and president HH together.
I believe that picture and other internal PF news frustrate Mr Saviour Chishimba who was hoping to probably be PF president and presidential candidate in an event that NCC placed the Degree qualification for Zambian President as president HH (MBA,UK) is the alternative to honourable Sata MC (Grade 2/6).
Have a blessed day you all.

Psalm 16:8 I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

  21. Pic 5 i wonder if that man could understand the Chewa that Thandi was speaking!!
Pic 8, GK could make a good left footer, look the way he is placing his ka left kwendo, Kwati aletenteka free kick like Kalu used to do in his days!!

  22. abantu kuZambia tabamoneka bwino pama pictures. everybody looks sick and emaciated with sad expressions on their faces.

  23. Pic#1, And RB has the guts to send a friesian cow to Kikwete costing tax payers K68m when he can’t even buy maize from the poor farmers. Pic#2 retirees in Zed are treated like scum. My uncle had a very respectable job in GRZ but he has turned into a pauper. Pic#6 Only Thandie can make an LV bag look cheap!

  24. LT, ADDRESS PEOPLE AS ‘WORKERS’, AND NOT ‘LABOURERS’. IF THATS THE COMPANY’S (LT’s)PREFERRED LANGUAGE THEN DO IT ACRSS THE BOARD. I MEAN ADDRESS TEACHERS, DOCTORS, ENGINEERS, PILOTS, ETC, AS LABOURERS BECAUSE THEY ALL SELL LABOUR IN EXCHANGE FOR MONEY.

  25. So, even if these farmers finally sell their produce will they make any profits? Cos I hear farmers (as well as pentioners) camp for months to wait for a ‘no’ or ‘yes’ answer and in the process spend more than they will be paid. IT’S A SHAME that cows can travel on a VIP ticket to Tanzania while our human citizens are second class.

  26. Govt have to be better prepared regarding buying the harvests. It is not as if the harvest time changes from year to year.

  27. Thandie ni LV bag yazo ona nangu fake? Anyway she may afford it since she is still getting her teacher GRZ payslip

  28. #48. The embarrassing revelations that Thandie has been receiving a salary from MOE illegally since 2006 when she resigned as a teacher are overshadowing her philanthropic causes.

  29. Pic#7. RB should rein in MMD thugs who have continued to harass innocent journalists for no apparent reasons save for their professional work of reporting news and entertainment.

  30. Iwe chi # 38, Mestro what ever you are supposed to comment on the pics and not on Sata. If you are so upset that a grade 2 is so popular in lusaka and the copperbelt go hang yourself. tell you what, RB will still be president in 2011 because of pipo like you. I know the union of sata and HH has really upset you because you are a tribalist. Its pipo like you that have been giving good people (the Tongas) a bad name. I know this because my wife is Tonga and i would have no problem with HH being my president but you cant say the same about king cabra or any bemba that much i know.

  31. hi ba Mrs Stevens, how have you been?sorry for the delay in replying to your post.#48 is it really true about ba Thandiwe still receiving her salary, iam totally shocked! that shows how things are being mismanaged pa ZED.Or probably she did not resign, just took a long study leave.

  32. Desperate for cash….. always makes our farmers lose out. maize is on high demand during rain season. Some of the farmers should simply store the maize and sell it when its on high demand.

  33. Seems like the quality of what people are wearing, and they fashion style is more important in Z than the basic necessities of food and shelter, farmers and childrend are going hungry, and getting a miserable education and the gov ministers are focusing on fashion and gadgets. PRIORITIES suck in zambia

  34. Why are retirees treated like this even when they’ve rendered services to zambia? With the President and VIP, i’ve nothing to comment ! i have not words for them. just losers

  35. “On food shortages in hospitals, President Banda said the donors had started to assist the country.”The donors have started to assist us.”
HOW DOES THE ABOVE COMPARE WITH THE SHORTAGE OF FOOD IN HOSPITALS AND THE BAGS OF FOOD WHICH ARE JUST LYING ABOUT WITH OUR HELPLESS FARMERS?
