CHIEF Moyo of the Tonga people of Choma says
he is disturbed by what he had described as unwarranted attack and
lack of respect exhibited by chief Nalubamba towards President Rupiah
Banda.
Chief Moyo who has lashed out at chief Nalubamba for bringing the
names of the traditional leadership into ridicule has asked his fellow
chief to publicly apologize for misleading the nation.
He said in a statement in Choma yesterday that traditional
leaders must not only be above partisan politics but must respect
democratically elected leaders.
Chief Moyo said the remarks made by chief Nalubamba border on
political hatred and wondered how traditional leaders could involve
themselves in active politics when they were supposed to be
politically neutral.
“I am very disturbed by insinuations coming from Chief Nalubamba
against President Banda. I wish to categorically state that it is a
personal view not representative of all chiefs in southern province,”
he said.
He said the role of traditional leaders was to support the government
of the day and not show open support for political parties.
Chief Moyo said chief Nalubamba rose to senior positions of government
in the first republic and wondered why he could sink so low as to
issue embarrassing statements.
Chief Moyo now joins Chief Macha of the same district who over the
weekend disassociated himself from a statement made by Chief Nalubamba
of the Ila people of Namwala district on Saturday that President
Rupiah Banda had lost wholesome support of Southern Province Chiefs.
Chief Macha said when Southern Province Permanent Secretary Darius
Hakayobe paid a courtesy call at his palace that Chief
Nalubamba did not consult widely before issuing a sweeping statement
on Saturday.
The traditional leader said he was entitled to his own opinion and
wondered why Chief Nalubamba decided to include other Chiefs in his
own opinion.
ZANIS
You cowards. Chief Nalubamba is correct.
It is politiks of poverty at play pa Zed.
Ba rupiah balakula umutwe, but a nob like chief nalubamba is also another useless ass.he stinks of hatred.
Pa zed pali drama. All these other chiefs are just trying to get a dime from Nyama soya. They know that the more they openly support RB, the more some brown envelops will land at their so called palaces. HUNGER
Fellow patriots, Kindly get back to work on the ground and immediately initiate a critical mass movement against useless cadre Bright Nalubamba. Let mature and responsible subjects dethrone him from the abused loyal seat he has turned into his partisan center of disgrace to the cultured Tongas. We have never seen a chief who lies with impunity as this impostor of a chief called Nalubamba.Bazwe Nalubamba the cadre. May politicians prepare to meet him head on in the political arena.

Many Zambians testify that they have never seen a chief who lies with impunity as this impostor of a chief called Nalubamba.
May politicians prepare to meet this cadre masquerading as chief head on in the political arena.
Good chief Nalubamba! RB is not a wise man and you should not dance to his tune. You should have your own opinion. Let those cowards betray themselves.
Not too long ago, LT reported that RB was scheming to divide and rule the Tongas. The allegation was made after Mugabe and RB had attended the Lwiindi Traditional Ceremony at Mukuni, where it was being suggested that Chief Mukuni be made Paramount Chief.
Aren’t these emerging difference exactly what RB plotted to achieve??
WAKE UP
surprising indeed, we have a permanent secretary of darius hakayobe going round chief’s palaces asking them to make statements to deny what chief nalubamba said, instead of him concetrating on developmental issues. this just shows that what nalubamba siad is very true. i guess, they are given some tokens before they give those statements. why is darius following them to their palaces? on sunday he was in macha, yesterday in moyo chiefdom, God knows where he is today, bootsucker!
Senior citizen go to work, we are not as blind as you
Impressively all the chiefs making this defence are from Choma District following Chief Moyo now joins Chief Macha of the same district who over the weekend disassociated himself from a statement made by Chief Nalubamba of the Ila people of Namwala district on Saturday that President Rupiah Banda had lost wholesome support of Southern Province Chiefs“.
I hope from this issue, all chiefs in Zambia will stop issuing their support or no support message to President RB Banda’s MMD GRZ since they are not supposed to involve themselves in partisan politics.
Whatever the case, now we have 3 supporting President RB Banda assuming the rest are not.

Matthew 6:33 + KJV Bible
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added…
Since all the chiefs making this defence for their support for Mr President RB Banda are from Choma District, this explains why Chief Mukuni of the Toka Leya people of Livingstone, though he came from Congo, has asked the MMD President RB Banda Administration to cut the Southern Province into two where he must be Paramount chief to the are from Choma to Livingstone districts.
We have 3 Southern Province chiefs supporting President RB Banda on the Chief Nalubamba comments and I am assuming the still remaining quiet chiefs are in support of the comments that President RB Banda has lost support from all/majority of Southern Province.

Matthew 6:33 + KJV Bible
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Please understand that people of this country have different opinions on different issues. Those opinions are there’s and ought to be respected. There is absolutely no reason why your opinion ought to be the right one. It is a sign of arrogance to be like Fred Mmembe who thinks that only his opinion is right and those who have different opinions are charlatans. Democracy starts with respecting the right of others to think differently. This is what I defend. I defend chief Moyo for this reason and would defend chief Nalubamba if he were to say that the opinion is his alone. There is no bootlicker and nobody has been bought, just like people who are against Rupia, eg the Post, have not been bought by Sata
I guess more courtesy calls by cholaboy Hakoyobe to mop up support RB will be topic of this month. The fact remains that Rupiah Banda and the MMD will never win in the Southern Province. RUpiah is is in deep waters.. If Sata and HH stand together and let Sata be the candidate I see the following pattern:
Lusaka, Southern, Northern, CB, Central going High for PF-UPND. Rupiah can win comfortably in Eastern, and mop a afew votes in NWand Western. The UPND is strong in NW therefore with anticiapation of the PACT the NW will swing to the Pact..So bring it on..RB Wapya munzi
# 9 Senior Citizen, Many Zambians also testify that they have never seen a preisident who lies with impunity like the Zambian one. Did he receive 100% support in North-Western Province? Is he the only presidential candidate who stood in all the 150 constituencies? If this is not lying with impunity, what is? Leave Chief Nalubamba alone. At least he is man enough not to stomach the nonsense from the MMD government.
uh, Chief Moyo, that name sound like someone who just crossed the Zambezi to settle in the Tongaland. Is it Moya or Moyo? Was this Chief also born in Gweru from Zambian parents or he born in Zambia from Zimbabwean parents?
What are the similarities between Senior Citizen and RB?
1. No shame
2. No comment on Thandiwe’s ghost life-Theft of MoE payroll
3. No comment on issues that seem important to Zambian people-Self Serving psychos.
4. Will lie to keep their positions even when things have gone South
5. They both do not care about the plight of Zambian people
6. They are traditional cousins
7. They both cannot behave their ages
8. They both picked wrongly in terms of marriage, they should swap wives because of age
Ba mwami Nalubamba should have consulted his fellow Chiefs before issuing that blanket statement. His actions right or wrong border on indiscipline on his part. He therefore does not deserve to be commended but rather be condemned for abrogating a principle of consensus building in a democratic dispensation.
mmh ,moyo.it is becaming interesting.the permanent secretary should pay nalubambe a visit at his palace .he might issue a statement of apology.Because sata /hh will surely pay nalubambe a visit.naibipaaa
Zambia in hot waters waiting for a saviour who does not come……may be its better to just stay where I am than going back to very d.u.l.l. gonvt of RB and MMD.
Senior Citizen (#5-10). It seems to me that you are not as senior as you claim to be. otherwise you should have not taken too much space for the same nonsense!
As for #22, Ba Ndine, osa yofya bantu na chizungu chanu chamene mu kopa mu dikishinari ya LAW. Are you some kind of a Lawyer, anyway?
