United Party for National Development (UPND) president Hakainde Hichilema has urged the electorate in Livingstone’s Maramba ward to desist from voting for political failures.

And Mr. Hichilema has strongly condemned ruling Movement for Multiparty Democracy (MMD) cadres’ violent behaviour towards opposition political parties.

Speaking in Livingstone yesterday when he drummed up support for a UPND candidate in today’s local government elections in Maramba ward, Mr. Hichilema urged people to be careful not to vote for political failures in any election.

Mr. Hichilema alleged that the MMD has proved to be a failure and a cheating party that deserves no support at all levels of elections.
He said the MMD leadership is tired and advanced in age that its performance has continued to decline.[quote]

Mr. Hichilema accused Southern Province Minister, Daniel Munkombwe of running out of ideas owing to his old age following his alleged move to drive traders from Tandabale market.
“The MMD party does not like you. It is a lying party. Do not give it your vote. You should stop liking it because it does the same to you by making sure you not earn a living,” he said.

He further urged the crowd that gathered at the PF-UPND rally not to vote for the United Liberal Party (ULP) candidate because its president Sakwiba Sikota is a failure.

Mr. Hichilema said Mr. Sikota is another tired politician who traded his own party members and electorates to MMD in last year’s presidential election.

“You people of Livingstone surprise me by voting for failures. Sakwiba and his ULP party has failed you. Why does Sakwiba want to field a candidate in this election when he had traded his people to MMD during the last election?” he asked.

And reacting to the alleged MMD’s continued name-calling, Mr. Hichilema said he was not in a beauty contest and added that everyone was created in God’s image.

He told the gathering that he will never tolerate politics of foolishness but will exert his energy into developing the nation by ensuring free education and zero-tolerance to corrupt practices.

Mr. Hichilema observed that the MMD party is a minority government that has resorted to violence against its opponents.

Yesterday, a near-fight erupted when MMD cadres advanced towards the rally site where Mr. Hichilema was addressing Maramba residents to drum up support for Boas Maseka, a UPND candidate in today’s local government elections.

The Maramba seat fell vacant following the death of MMD councillor Fred Lungu.

  1. ZAMBIAN POLITICS AT ITS WASTE! HH MUST JUST GO INTO BIZNESS, WE NEED A NEW BREED OF POLITICIANS THAT MAKE SENSE TO ZAMBIA…..ALOT OF BARKING FROM THESE SO CALLED POLITICAL PARTIES!

  2. Great stuff on most points man of the moment president HH leader of the UPND-PF PACT. On “And reacting to the alleged MMD’s continued name-calling, Mr. Hichilema said he was not in a beauty contest and added that everyone was created in God’s image” following Minister of Justice Vice President George Kunda’s statement that president HH has red eyes which are linked to trying to out-wit Mr Sata (Grade 2/6, unknown) in lying, I am glad that HH and Sata have exhibited rare leadership qualities that it is God who created them in His image and they are happy in the way they look.

So, PACT sympathisers leave insults to a falling apart political party MMD. This is what failures do including using violence against those opposed to their ways.

  3. As for “Mr. Hichilema observed that the MMD party is a minority government that has resorted to violence against its opponents. Yesterday, a near-fight erupted when MMD cadres advanced towards the rally site where Mr. Hichilema was addressing Maramba residents to drum up support for Boas Maseka, a UPND candidate in today’s local government elections., this is very sad and I am still hoping to hear from MMD acting president Mr Zambian President RB Banda on his plan to discipline MMD violent cadres to those opposed to his way of rulling Zambia.

    Have a blessed day all.

Ansd please PACT sympathisers leave insults and violence to a falling apart political party MMD. Come 2011 elections, just vote wisely for the PACT and let Zambia develop.

  4. ….HH that good, but be honest if we had a beauty contest btn Satan and RnB, who would be the winner? hahahahaha……………..i rest my case!

  5. By the way…does anyone know if the Zambian High Commission London is still functioning? You call them a million times no one picks up the calls, you are not allowed to leave a message because it is full and their website hasn’t got the info you are looking for. They all go for lunch at the same time like they are in Zed.

  6. How about issue based debates. Cant these political parties fight over issues instead of petty things.

Please HH, debate on how your policies will benefit the local people more than policies by RB, Sikota et all.

The purpose of education is to develop mental faculties so we can contribute mentally to the well being of mankind. As an economist, MBA holder, I am sure HH you have more brains than what you are wallowing in. Is it a case of the eagle mixing with chickens?

  7. Maestro Hakucincha – when was HH declared the Leader of the Pact? HH himself is more a political failure the Saki, At leask Saki has won elections before and he is an elected MP. HH has nerver won any election, just keeps loosing

  8. #7 Hola

I hear the phone at the emabssy does not work, although it “rings” when you call. A friend used to call them to find out if the new passports have arrived from Zambia. After not getting thru he travelled there. He was told the phone doesnt work.
Zambia may be poor but having a BT land phone, even a receiving-only, surely is affordable. It is shameful. Imagine, you have to travel there just to find out if your passport has arrived!

  9. This boy called ICHILEMA is on a roll, huh? Why direct personal attacks like this? Is this the poison he has been getting from the great SATAN.

Anyway maybe Saki is a political failure, but surely not MMD young many. Just look at the head to head scores between you and MMD in the game called politics of presidential elections

    2006 Elections: MMD 1 – 0 HH
    2008 Elections MMD 1 – 0 HH

That is two defeats back to back. in other words MMD 2-0 HH. Come 2011 it will be 3-0. I won’t even go to parliamentary results. So who is a political failure, Mr. ICHILEMA? I know UPND has changed for worse, but thank God mathematics has not changed. The numbers speak for themselves and numbers don’t lie my friend.

  10. On: “The MMD party does not like you. It is a lying party. Do not give it your vote. You should stop liking it because it does the same to you by making sure you not earn a living,” Thank you! That is the aggressiveness we want to see between now and 2011 from the PACT. Hold them by the horns!

  11. I understand #1 Shi-Michael’s frustration, Zambian politicians really leave one wondering in which direction they’re moving. Is it left / right wing or just sheer political opportunism?

  12. The vice president, George Kunda, should desist from name calling and character assassination . If Mr Kunda has convinced himself that he is handsome, well and good, let him hold his peace. It is a childish thing for him to talk about looks. Leadership does not lie in looks but in one’s character and vision.

  13. HH ndiwe chikali! I like your statement, MMD are a bunch of tired politicians, zoona mudala. we need you up there.

  14. As for Mr Sakwiba, his end is ney! Come 2011, he will have neither an MP nor councilor. He is standing on thin ice right now. The only thing he can do is join the MMD. The PACT is coming very strong and Livingstone (his strong hold) is eluding Mr Sikota.

  15. HH WALANDAFYE BWINO NOMBA USAMBILILE UKULANDA ICHIBEMBA SO THAT NGAWAYA KU LUAPULA NTONDO WALANDA MUCHIBEMBA. IWE ULIWESU ULECHINDIKA BA KALAMBA BOBE BA MICHEAL AND ULEKALIPAKO PA KULANDA IFINTU, BA KAKUTOLA UBOWA PAMUTWE. INE NAKUCHITA AWADI SMALL PRINCE.

  16. It’s not all about condemin who has doen what or who did, what did he do but it is about perfomance,if u can face croacdiles, lion, hippos & pigs go ahead HHH,but we dont want (Hell Hell) Kumulilo Wapya.

  17. The world needs dreamers and the world needs doers. But above all, the world needs dreamers who do. -Sarah Ban Breathnach

  18. #7 Hola, The only way to make an enquiry at the London High Commission is to go there. It is a shame that they can’t sort out a simple communication issue. Zambia is Zambia.

  19. No doubt # 11 you are MMD sympathizer. I feel very sorry for yoy. You’re poor empty heads that are not reading the reality and general obtainings on the ground. I’m looking at your photo, You also look filled with corupt monies form Bandas. Change is coming. We are tire of these tired cheat who are nothing but f–ls to our Zambia

  20. Saki Political failure eh? Wait a minute; what exactly are your political achievements Mr HH? The only political achievement to your name is the hounding out of Saki by your fellow spear and panga wielding tribesmen and women from UPND. Your behaviour and that of your tribespeople in 2006 was pathetic and primitive. You are no better than the MMD thugs and your compatriot Sata. Honestly politics in Zambia has always belonged to dogs.

  21. Brother HH you can say other people are political failures,if you are an achiever, which seat in which ward or constituence have you ever won to prove to us that you not a failure, you may name call others but them have a proven record of winning elections, for Gods sake after Andy people of ZED rejected you twice and again they will. As for our High commission here in DC they say they dont even have forms for passports, one wonders why the office even exists we are better not having them here at all

  22. Former President Chiluba’s son Miko has been arrest for being found in possesion of cocaine. Sources said he was picked up around Northmead area on Tuesday night…….. This guy should face the same jail sentence like any other Zambian. They shouldn’t bring in politics. For full details visit post website.

  23. #17 Bro i have seen politics pa Zed fro 91 to now, PF UPND is going nowhere your hearts will always be broken,i dont surport MMD but we have seen how political machine works, from putting Levy on that chair,to putting Banda on it,who is next, who ever they put there will be the President. HH and Sata will never go to state house they will retire with their dreams not coming true

  24. HH i cant talk of any thing you have done fpr the livingstone people .But for Saki to be vote into office twice by the livingstone poeple i am sure saki must have done something for his people .The ennglish say an empty calabash makes a lot of noise .HH you are becoming an empty calash be careful. You just talk about what you are going to do for the people becuase even you have sold people of UPND to PF so what are you talking about. You were a good persons but these days you just talk too much for nothing mudala.Saki i love you for what you are and for what you have done for the poeple of Livingstone.

  25. Iwe chi Gershom Musonda ulibe nzelu. You will never do any good for Zambia from the condemnation language you have used against UNZA students.

Without the final nail, into apatheid, of young people and students in South Africa, South Africa would not be where it is today. UNZA and the rest of students in Zambia, move on. Help us as a country. VIVA UNZA!!!!! ABASH GERSHOM ‘MUZUNGUWANGA’ MUSONDA!!!!!!!

  26. It iz cheaper and wizer not to call anybody this or that. Avoid talking about what so and so haz or haz not done.

  27. In as much as I do not agree with HH on every word, yet I believe he is the hope for Zambia for 2011. Some people on the blog just condemn everybody without giving any hope for the people of Zambia. They condemn MMD and the opposition and they end there! So where is hope?

  28. 9 behave or start reading English books.

Following “Mr. Hichilema alleged that the MMD has proved to be a failure and a cheating party that deserves no support at all levels of elections“, what do do I need to add to this impressive statement?

Zambians need to surely show more red cards in emulating the UNZASU and UNZA students’ leadership that was exhibited yesterday even after UNZASU received some 10 million Kwacha donation from Mr President RB Banda at State House some few days ago.

This rare UNZASU leadership must be followed by getting money from MMD party or GRZ officials but showing them red cards. Can some company start producing RED CARDS for use in massive peaceful demonstrations please.

    Have a blessed day all.

  29. “PACT DOOMED”

FORUM for Democracy and Development (FDD) president, Edith Nawakwi says the Patriotic Front and United Party for National Development (PF-UPND) pact is headed for doom because the PF have overshadowed their colleagues in the Chitambo by-election campaigns.

Ms Nawakwi said the pact is bound to sink before the 2011 general elections as the PF has created an impression that it controls the pact.

She said in an interview from Serenje on her campaign trail that in areas she visited, people were only mentioning the PF and not UPND or the pact.

  30. “Wherever I passed, people were only mentioning PF and not the pact and I think the PF have created an impression that the pact is only comprised them.

“This is exactly what happened when we formed the United Democratic Alliance in 2006. During campaigns, the UPND was saying vote for us and not the pact. And so I think this PF-UPND pact is going to collapse the same way UDA did,” she said.

Ms Nawakwi wondered what the future of the UPND, in particular its president Hakainde Hichilema, is because the PF have taken over the pact.

  31. “This is an extremely sad development because we expected a political party led by the pact and not the PF.

“UPND has a young leader and we expect him to be a future leader, but if his party is being overshadowed by the PF in the pact, then they are not going anywhere,” Ms Nawakwi said.

She said despite the UPND fielding its candidate in the ward elections in Chilanga, PF leaders have further created an impression that the candidate is from their party.

“What they are saying is vote for PF and not the pact, and so this is a clear indication that they have taken over the pact,” Ms Nawakwi said.

Meanwhile, Ms Nawakwi says her party is confident of winning the Chitambo by-election.

  32. #32 May be MMD can adopt HH for presidential candidate. Certaibly whoever MMD fields wins. In Zambia the opposition can only have a landslide victory if that many people want change. At the moment there’s much difference between MMD & the opposition – like in 1991. Sata is MMD by blood, he knows these things.

  33. Ms Nawakwi said the seat is open, adding that any party is capable of winning despite it being a stronghold of the MMD.

“We have given the MMD a run for their money and we are hopeful of winning as we have fielded a candidate who is capable of delivering to the people of Chitambo,” Ms Nawakwi said.

She said politicians should elevate the level of politics in the country by desisting from engaging in politics of character assassination.

“We have to move Zambian politics beyond the levels of character assassination and poverty by ensuring that we tell people what we will do for them when in power, as opposed to bribing them with food to lure them to vote for us,” she said.

Meanwhile, the Foundation for Democratic Process (FODEP) says it is happy that no major incidents…

  34. 32 WE CAN greetings. Here are the election results from elections returning officer::

    Salut!

After tabulating the results of the second round of voting, I am pleased to announce that:

having received a vote from 33 out of 39 total votes cast, with 20 of those being a first choice vote, to a total of 53 voting “points,” that Maestro is the winner of round 2 voting.

    Congratulations Maestro!

(and my condolences on the extra work you have to do to prepare a speech.)

    with my name change only.

It was indeed a hard election but all ended well after two rounds of voting. This has been a rare event for me in my whole life. I never expected the election outcome to be like this from across the whole world people.

    Be blest.

  35. The Opposition needs to have a two thirds majority in the Livingstone City Council maybe the tourist capital of Zed will move on. Definitely Hon. Saki’s days in Livingstone Contituency are numbered. We might have 2 more Loacl Govt by elections in Livingstone as 2 MMD Councillors ve been appointed DC 4 Kazungula and Livingstone(???????). HH was seen touring the Zimbabwe Mkt in the L,stone CBD which houses 75% of Southern Province’s Smugglers, I wonder what they discussed??????

  36. Zambian politics is all about yapping instead of dwelling on the core-business of running the country. It is also evident now that HH ( MBA UK, Privatisation Thief ) has fallen in the same trap even before starting his political career he is already assessing vets !!

  37. I now doubt HH’s conduct, he has joined band wagon of old politicians who think by dwelling on personalities will deliver them votes. There is point for HH to call Saki names. The combination of Richard Masaiti Kapita and HH is bound to back fire. I have known Masaiti to be a gentleman but of late he is slowly becoming a disciple of King Cobra. Daniel is old and supposed to retire from politics but the difficult point the man has proved in his own way to a man of all seasons. What else has Daniel missed he was with Old Harry, Super Ken, FTJ, Levy and now RB. HH should concentrate selling his manifesto and disist from politics of insults. That is how bad habits grow from one lower level to a higher level.

  38. Fire HH you are the man..SAKI is a finished chap who supported MMD in 2008 blindly because f his hatrate for HH

    Simple mathemetics;
If MMD are failures; Saki Supported them in 2008,

    Therefore (SAKI + MMD )2008elections = FAILURE!

    GO HH HH

  39. #43 Mwana Mulume, do u realise that Hon. Saki has failed the pipo of L,stone and 4 sure HH said the truth. U shud be in Livingstone 2 note that Hon. D H Munkombwe has outlived his usefulness n we ve developed a mentality of not wanting 2 tell the truth. I mean not too long ago Hon. Munkombwe paid tribute to Robert Gabriel Mugabe as being a wise leader, lets learn to call a spade a spade for the MMD led GRZ has lamentably failed us!

  40. the funny thing is that when all these political fuulz get together somewhere, they all laugh it out together and yet here we are busy beating ourselves dry. kaya mwandini

  41. #10 and #22 thank you so much for the info. Will treck down to their office first thing in morning.RB is moving poeple about so one wonders which Phiri or Tembo is coming to this office lol

  42. #46 Its funny that you can even compare elected leaders as failures just like HH did the fact is and will remain they were elected by their people in their various wards or constituences whereas HH up to now we can count loudly he has lost so far 2 elections in a roll,if i was a teacher and HH was in my class i would tell him to try a new course maybe he would do better

  43. Mina batu mwanikomokisa, Politics are larger than elections. Elections are just a part of the business. We are all politicians, even as we blog. What determines the kind of politicians we are is the kind of contributions we make to the making of Zed a liveable country. If my contributions do not bring about progress, would I not qualify to be a failure in Politics? A failure in Poltics is a Political Failure, not so? If my contributions have no clear progressive objective and principle, then I’d be a political failure. Let’s not reduce politics to winning an election. Koffi Annan is a politician of the world class but I don’t know if he ever won an election. HH may never have won an election but he is still a viable politician. What is Saki and MMD then? I hope we get it Now!!!!!

  44. From early tallies in Chitambo constituency, the ruling MMD is steadfastly bulldozing the Haka/Sata pact with a vanquishing winner’s margin. In almost all wards the press has visited 4 hours since the ballots closed and counting started, MMD is leading with a run away margin. The trend seems a nightmare to overturn for the PACT.A loss of Chitambo would be devastating for a PACT against one MMD.

  45. Yes ido agree with HH; Saki is a political failier how strongly he supported the dull degree holder.. RB in the 2008 elections ;now he can prove it himself before every Zambian;

  46. KA HH,you now stink you ka hussle.ever since you were baptised by sata you have turned out to be a ka very useless political demagogue.what issues are you bringinging on the table.we know the worst about MMD and Rupiah but what changes are you going bring when we annoint you with leadership you scumbag.stop that nonsense and start dwelling on real issues.

  47. Chirwa and HH. At least we can have a hope of going back to Zed. Zed ngani company naliquidation ngani Dora fye waikwanishe.Na bola efyo tulushila.By the way where is that guy who sung tomato balunda?

  48. A MESSAGE FOR ALL OUR FELLOW PATRIOTS AROUND THE GLOBE

The Haka/Sata PACT has been sized and unpacked in Chitambo constituency.Marriage of convenience and fake collectivism against Zambians and MMD has fallen flat. The MMD has successfully placed them where they belong as losers.Loser plus loser=big loser.MMD has decisively swept in 13 of the 16 polling stations in the constituency. In the remaining 3, the ruling MMD is neck and neck with the PACT in 2 and in 1 with FDD.By count of last vote, i predict MMD will lock all 16 seat pronouncing the death of the make Zambia ungovernable PACT.

  49. It is interesting that HH can say “the by- elections in the country were a get way to the 2011 election”. Quote

the Chitambo seat was an opportunity for the PACT to profile themselves as a winning ticket other than a circus marriage of convenience voters have come to know them for. Big time they have lost it despite putting all their insulting time and interest in it. Thank God they know that this is a taste of the 2011 crash unfolding. In a Chingola ward, out of 2221 registered only 658 votes. Look at the margin.

  50. The Haka/Sata Pact must think serious and realize that their insulting strategy and irresponsible fragrance of making Zambia ungovernable has alienated them from voters. Instead they have fueled apathy against themselves. Under such prevalent politics, the ruling party wins on aggregate.

  51. Politics is about creating a sustainable voter conversion rate. The Haka/Sata circus is instead fueling apathy. They will never rule this country unless in their dream. The other day HH was saying I’m popular in blogs. But bloggers don’t vote hence can’t factor ballot outcome in Zambia.

This is applied politics HH need to learn not his dairy insulting of Zambians, Security and Defense wings that there is no security in the country.

  52. With all these defeats against the PACT, lets put hands and together in developing the country.MMD has kept creating space for involvement and development. Its not politics that the country needs more but development. We are better off outdoing each other on the economic development than insults.

  53. high commissioner or embassy is not as relevant as the fact that they are useless at their post. whatever name you want to call them… me, i just call them useless.

  54. This fool called Hicilema never ceases to amaze me. Any sensible politician with eyes cast into the future would never try to rise to party power on such a stinking tsunami of tribalistic wave and still hope to muster enough national credence to ascend to the ultimate political ladder, the presidency! No wonder he seems to be wedded to perennial tribal alliances, even with serpents, because he realises on his own it’s Tongaland express exclusive! For scum so heavily wedded to tribal bigotry to accuse any Zambian of failure is playing cheeky monkey business.

  55. The dispute over Kenya’s 2007 election compelled South Africa to improve on tallying during its May polls, a conference on electoral reforms heard Thursday.

The chairperson of South Africa’s Independent Electoral Commission, Dr Brigalia Bam, said the reforms were meant to prevent disputes that could have marred the May General Election to ensure that her country did not go the Kenyan way.

In the Kenyan case, President Kibaki had been trailing Mr Raila Odinga but overtook the ODM candidate when results from parts of Central and Eastern provinces were released, sparking an outcry and protests.

As a result, violence erupted in various parts of the country, leading to the deaths of 1,133 people and 650,000 others evicted from their homes.

On Thursday, Dr Bam revealed that…

  56. On Thursday, Dr Bam revealed that South Africa had to put in place tough measures to ensure election results, especially at the polling station, were not tampered with.

This involved scanning the signed copies of the forms containing the station results, after they had been signed by representatives of political parties.

These results were then transmitted to the municipal auditors for thorough scrutiny.

The forms were then forwarded to the main results centre, she said, where all political parties received the certified results simultaneously by e-mail.

This, she said, was to ensure they were not tampered with and that everyone had a copy of the results that the Independent Electoral Commission of South Africa had.

“At the polling station, we even employed counting…

  57. “At the polling station, we even employed counting officers, who would come in the evening once the voting exercise had been completed, to take over the process to count and tally votes at the polling station,” said Dr Bam in Nairobi.

This is contrary to what occurred in Kenya, where form 16 A, containing declaration of election results of a polling station, were tampered with in a number of constituencies around the country.

Consequently, in such areas, the results that had been announced at the polling centres by electoral officials, were different from the ones announced at both the constituency and national levels, leading to vote rigging allegations.

  58. Dr Bam’s sentiments were echoed by Mr David Adeenze-Kangah, the vice-chair of the Ghanaian Electoral Commission, who revealed that his team was at liberty to cancel results of polling stations where they suspected foul play.

“If we found out that the votes cast in a certain polling station was more than the number of voters registered there, then we automatically cancel these results. Obviously, there has been foul play here,” he said.

Mr Kangah said conducting elections in Ghana was not an easy task, with the greatest challenge coming from the highly competitive and partisan nature of their elections.

Both South Africa and Ghana have been singled out by world leaders, including US President Barack Obama, for holding peaceful elections, with the leaders asking other…

  59. Oppositions need to start pushing for electoral reforms to ensure the 2011 elections are free and fair because he who fails to plan plans to fail.

  60. HH has a double standard here: in one breathe he says “…he will never tolerate politics of foolishness…” but in aother he is doing just that by degrading Sakwiba and Munkombwe and the MMD. Not along he was talking bad about his boy friend Sata. Can’t our politicians sell their message without having to mention the other opponents’ names? We need a politician in Zambia who could just talk about their policies once they are voted into power, without talking about others being failures, old and the like. After all is said and done, I thought both Sakwiba and grandpa Munkombwe has achieved more politically than HH’s entire political career.

  61. HH has a double standard here: in one breathe he says “…he will never to-le-rate politics of foolishness…” but in aother he is doing just that by degrading Sakwiba and Munkombwe and the MMD.
Hey LT, how can your automatic filtering system think the word ‘to-le-rate’ I have quoted here think it’s a swear word? May be you…

  62. I mean to say may be you need to ‘smarten’ it up (your filtering system) because it is really dumb at the moment!

  63. Reports from the ground reliably inform me that we have successfully defended the Chitambo Seat by a wide margin. Kasama is the next stop. Congratulations fellow MMD patriots

  64. Sorry i have a problem with this guy Maestro fimo fimo. He pisses me off especially when he is addressing Sata as an under educated. Now that Sata has a pact with HH he thinks HH is the leader of the pact. He sounds so tribal to me and he hates Sata with all his Body Mind and Soul. His vomit on Sata has made me hate HH. I have Tonga friends who would openly talk about politics of fairness not hate. Maestro fimo fimo refrain from using strong words on Sata if you want HH ( in your dreams to rule the country.) Yes he is educated and Sata is a standard 2 but he ( Sata) is a well informed politician than HH. HH is into business not politics. I rest my case.

  65. Well Hakainde just said the truth, whatever you want to call him he is the mirror of the Linvingstone society and this is it for Sakwiba he is finished.

  66. I am sure the UPND have sold their Manifesto and even offered advise on how to survive during this credit crunch but has the MMD listened or heed to this. Developmental talks have been there but who has ears maybe you and I but definitely not the PIG!

The PACT Candidate in referred to herein managed to win yesterday’s Local Govt by Election in Maramba Ward of Livingstone, its disheartening to hear that the PACT has failed in Chitambo.

  67. “Mr. Hichilema accused Southern Province Minister, Daniel Munkombwe of running out of ideas owing to his old age ” Does that mean Michael Sata is equally running out of ideas because of his old age??

  68. When you argue with fools, people will not tell the difference. By HH wallowing in personal attacks and insults, plus his PACT with Sata, people will put him in the same category of such people. Birds of teh same feather flock together. HH has probably lost more than he has gained in the sight of Zambians in recent months. Time will tell.

  69. I DISAGREE TO AGREE WITH SOME VIEWS YES OLD DANYERE HAS OUTLIVED HIS USEFULNESS AND SAKI HAS FAILED THE PIPO OF LIVINGSTONE. LOOKING AT DANYERE HOW CAN THE MAN KIP ON APPREARING ON THE POLITICAL STAGE EACH TIME THERE IS CAHNGE AT PLOT ONE? THE MAN IS A RECYLED POLITICAL ASSET. HE BEATS ALL IN SOUTHERN. SAKI WAS SUCH A GUD LAWYER I DONT KNOW HAT EAT HIS BRAIN TO JOIN DIRTY POLITICS SHOULD I SAY EVER SINCE HE JOINED THE RB BANDWAGON 2008 CAMPAIGN TEAM IT APPEARS THE MAN HAS BECOME POLITICALLY A DIMINISHING ASSET. PRINCE COBRA HAS GRADUATED WITH A PhD IN POLITICAL INSULTS. KING COBRA HAS SWALLOWED HIM POLITICALLY AND HE DOES NOT SEEM TO WHERE HE IS GOING. 70. Hey bloggers! Could anyone define insult for me? I think an insult is a making of a person. I could say “HEY” and someone would say I insulted her by saying “HEY”. When a politician compares himself/herself with another; is it an insult. HH compared himself with the men he mentioned. Some people term that as an insult. What then is not in insult? If someone comes to us to share his/her policies we will not understand. We would then say: He has good ideas but no one understands him/her. What do we want ma Zedians kanti? Let’s define ourselves before we label everything an insult. It seems a lot of us are just bloggers and we know little or nothing anout politics. Even in developed democracies politicians compare themselves with their opponents. They don’t call it insult, do they?

  71. Intelligence they say is like a river, the deeper it is,the less noise it makes.the pact is just
    a
useless circus for HH and sata.they have lost the first game they played as twin strikers.

  72. The current opposition parties & current gov will never bring any big change in our country when in power, we need new leaders, so both should get lost pls.(e.g sata the snake).

  73. First bloggers do you pose and think before you write something?Politicians are best judged by their economic and social intellenge. Those who judge their friends perfomance based on how many poor villagers they can corrupt to vote them are failures that have contributed to driving this country down hill.Ask them academic credentials, give them a simple situation in your area and ask them how they can solve that situation. You will discover about them.
