  1. what a fool. instead sorting out the fuel problems back home, RB first depleats Zambia’s food reserves, and foolishly goes to Rome to beg for more. RB- waste of time!!!

  2. MESSAGE TO RB: MR. RB HERE AT HOME YOU HAVE LOST THE CASE AGAINST KABWELA OF POST. SORRY PRESIDO, YOU JUDGED WRONGLY WHEN YOU DIRECTED POLICE TO ARREST KABWELA. HEEEE HEEEE HEEEEE RB WALUSA MUDALA! IT WAS NOT PORN!!!

  3. Too much travelling for a President and I wonder why. It could be that he wants to please is young wife who, at at her prime, is enjoying every moment of it and praising him betimes. Or that the old guy is making alot in travel allowances and wants to make alot more before he leaves office.

  4. The acquittal of Chansa Kabwela in a case that bore  political ramifications is a stinging indictment on RB and his friends for all  they have done in corrupting and abusing their authority. It  goes further to vindicate all Zambians who came on board and supported her in her pursuit for justice.  THANK YOU ALL.

  5. Hip Hip Hurey! I am so happy Chansa has won the case, not that it wasnt expected but going by the way the judiciary can be manipulated??????? Bravo all who stood with her!

  6. I think the only reason people attack RB is because he won the presidential by-elections and not PF. Most of RB`s attackers are part of the PF clan.
I think instead of sidetracking the man with your petty attacks, let him do his work. Please remember that RB is also human and does not need attacks. RB was attacked immediately he stepped into statehouse. That is not fair on the man.
Instead of attacking him, offer suggestions and solutions. It is like instead of suggesting to your child on how they can improve their grade, you call them a “chikopo“ & xpect them to…

  7. #14 chishinka mune, olo tulandepo, tumutuke, twalanakafye….lets just let him do his work and his call day will come in 2011. However apart from being ugly, marrying a young woman, and endless travells, the man is actually performing…give him another year so that his policies can mushroom. But our hate for him, is blinding us from the little good.

  8. Imwe Bantu. Now that Chansa Kabwela has been freed, all are singing praises for the Judiciary and that it acted professionally without RB interference. Had she been found wanting, all sorts of bad tags would have been heaped on the Judiciary and RB blamed for what would have been a “bad”decision. It goes to show that even in the FTJ case RB was a distant away. The court made their own decisions.

One more thing Smoothcriminal . Next time, please have some respect when you are airing your views even if you do not support the persons views. You have shown great immaturity on the post you made. You are behaving like a kid.

  10. One of the President’s duties is to travel so as to brainstorm with other heads of state. This summit is very important for it tackles food security.Even Lula is there and Brazilians are all happy.Obama right now is having an Asia tour and Americans understand that.he is not there cos US doest experience acute food shortages.Even you critics on this blog when(if) become President, you will be required to to the same.Be progressive.
Coming to Kabwela’s case. Its shows that the judiciary still has the independence cos RB really wanted to have this woman sentenced.

  11. #17. Ndine. Are you suggesting that without the court’s decision you cannot look at the merits of a case yourself? Do not bring in Chiluba’s acquittal here because RB himself acknowledged that he had difficulties to imprison the former head of state; NOT THAT HE(CHILUBA) WAS INNOCENT, PLEASE!

  12. #23 Maybe you can help me out. How am I supposed to reply to a comment that is void of any intelligent argument. Please help me out here.

  13. Seriously, these meeeting COULD be beneficial to us all if only we were serious about development. There’s so much to learn from other states the world over. The Batwsana, for instance, manage their cattle much better than we do, and yet we have the precious gift of The Barotse Plain, next door to Botswana’s desert grazing fields, where we could treble beef production overnight.

I was about to have conversation with Ndine @ no# 17 then I saw your post, Wisdom not only came from the east but the west as well, I always say that about Botswana a dryland country with the fastest growing economy in the world. Western province is my home aswell though an easterner I have been there loved my people and saw the potential that is vastly ignored. Rice too can…

  15. The venom spewing from some of you towards RB is shameful….beggers belief! Name me a people which progresed by negative self talk….? Or is that wat you call “freedom of speech”?So far none of you lot have offered constructive criticism. You’re ALL a bunch of non-progresive thinkers! A bunch of winoes, thats wat you are! So youre expecting RB to sit on his hands and not attend summit? Tell us wat you yourselves wud have done, then maybe we can take serious..winoes!

  16. #18 Mrs Capitalist, I just quoted the presidents own words,if he can use them on other people why cant we use them on him,its a precedence, call a spade a spade, not a folk, thats rubbish you are spewing there

  17. Kazizi and Mrs Capitalist spare your breaths. Do not spill pearls before pigs lest they trample them under foot and ruin them. There is no debate here today.
