  1. “Speaking at the same rally Education Minister Dora Siliya said K42 million from the Constituency development fund has been allocated to for the electrification of Mushitala basic school.”

Yaba! …these thugs will do anything just to win the election ka? don’t take people for granted.

  2. Ma rubbish.. Mbala’s

Development and cash shouldn’t flow only when there are elections…

Poor planning, Lack of leadership & vision is catching up with the Miserable Misfit Delinquents.

  3. This man is not a good rep for MMD. Suppose this money is not there, what will happen? People will accuse their councillors of misusing money which probably is not there or if its there it is of a smaller figure. He should just go back to Chifubu, Ndola.

  4. Drunk with Power, panicking mwaenda ba george what a baseless campaign. People of solwezi, dont need those promises. they need a working government not that single sourcing language from Dola

  5. Ba LT naimwe, I just quoted what you printed and you are busy editing the same stuff you have printed. What’s the logic here (Mus.h.i.t.ala basic school.) Isn’t it what it is called?

  6. Nothing will change our will for change, mailo filechinja. Indala na Sugar muletupela tulepoka but mailo ni secret ballot nipa LUPI, zambia forward na Pact!

  7. There is nothing wrong with a political party (more especially one in power) informing the voting public on what it has achieved, what it is doing and what it plans to do. Isn’t this the same issue based politics we where talking about? What is wrong with the ruling party informing the voting public what it has done in Solwezi, what it is doing in Solwezi and what it plans to do in Solwezi? There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

I don’t know why people are condemning the MMD for practicing issue based politics and yet will praise the pact for insulting president RB and his administration and also spreading 90 day economic miracle rhetoric.

  8. There is nothing wrong making promises but there everythging wrong when these promises are NOT fulfilled.Politics is all about promises and it happens everywhere in the world.Obama was making promises,so was Zuma and these guys are being judged by the people.

  9. LT This photo you’ve used was during Labour Day. Hikaumba, ZCTU President has nothing to do with your campaign in Solwezi.
    Good luck PF/UPND pact.

  10. #9. Your thinking is shallow. Why is Kunda not telling people is Shangombo or Kaputa what it will do? Why not give the same money to chawama constituency. Why didn’t Kunda go there to give them millions before Teta Malilo died? Why now?

  11. #13 – Mwana infact if what GK is saying is possible it could have been seen in the National Budget. In short he is just dreaming. The son of a Hehe.

  12. Day in and day out these useless leaders think that Zambians can always be taken for a ride. #13 Ubuntungwa has summed it up so well and inteligently and I must repeat his line of reasoning, ‘Why is Kunda making these promises in Solwezi at this particular time? What a daft lawyer! As for #9 Mr Capitalist, your comments are always the same, ridiculous, they don’t deserve responding to.

  13. Why are they promising development to areas where there are by-elections. A lot of roads in Lusaka and the rest of the country need reconstruction. So roads in Lusaka will only be done next year during the compaign period. This time bane ba MMD muleya even in rural area where votes are stolen measures will be put in place that it does not happen. This time around more people will be posted in rural areas.

  14. These people have no strategy, why not do all these things before an election, so that when they go for campaigns, they will have something to point at instead of using the same promises all the time, people are not daft any more….Dora should stand there and say look we have electrified that school, repaired that roof at that sku with CDF,we have used 6.5bil from kansanshi to to repair roads and build toilets at that market, then only people will have no reason to vote otherwise

  15. You people do not even know the UPND symbol. It is not upright hand signal but forward signal. You are so desperate that you see even things that do not exist. Kunda was merely waving to the crowd. Stop your wishing.

  16. Definition of promise, “a verbal commitment by one person to another agreeing to do (or not to do) something in the future.

“Speaking at the same rally Education Minister Dora Siliya said K42 million from the Constituency development fund has been allocated to for the electrification of Mushitala basic school.”[end quote]

Can someone point out which promise has been made from the above story. Some of you guys did not even read the story.

  17. Dora Siliya, I hear the people started jeering her when she started talkingand had to tuck her long kolwe tail clean over her stinking p.u.s.s.y that looks like the area around Machungwa’s mouth.Basuntwe, mwatusabila pe!

  18. #13 Ubuntungwa Mu Zambia

What is wrong with Vice President George Kunda directing the municipal council to use the money it received from land rates prudently for development? What money has Kunda released? please inform us.

  19. “As for #9 Mr Capitalist, your comments are always the same, ridiculous, they don’t deserve responding to.”

I do not force you to read my comments. I do not twist your arm or threaten you to read my comments. You have the choice to decide whether you want to read my comments or not. The choice is absolutely yours. I do not care whether you read them or not.

  20. #26. Why can’t the same Kunda direct councils on the Copperbelt to use money collected from mining companies? What is so special about Solwezi council when all councils have the same problems. If you are MMD just shut your mouth as your days are numbered. Nothing lives forever. It is just a matter of time.

  21. #29. I can now see that you have 1 sense instead of 5. Stop panicking. Very soon you will be crying especially if your RB is removed in 2011

  22. #26 Mr capitalist, there’s everything wrong with the vp directing councils on how to use finances, its not up to the vp,councils have planners, they dont need his direction,if thats the case then he should be going round the whole country directing all councils on how the money should be used, then scrap them up and incorporate under the vp’s office

  23. Today we can see (in picture) how these so called independent chaps are chewing with government leaders! Vice President George Kunda and president Leonard Choongo Hikaumba General of ZCTU at a Solwezi campaign rally. See how this I,D.I.O.T is enjoying!

  24. The picture is an old one which was taken during labor day celebrations. Ba LT why mislead people. Hikaumba was not with GK in Solwezi.

    VIVA PACT

  25. #33 Akamwaiche kakalila…..ifwe we delivered Kasama, kwashala kamwaiche to do the same! HH wapya you better deliver or nishi presidency yesu!!!! Power to the people…..pabwato!!! hakainde Pabwato mune!!

  26. BA LT Dont u know that pictures speak volumes, even if u’ve written that its an old picture, pliz remove Hikaumba from this.. look 4 another picture which wu make abit of sence…..HIKAUMBA SHUD NOT BE SEEN ON A POLITICAL ARTICAL….Thursday wapya munzi…no more bush promises..George u’ll see.

  27. #29 Mr. Capital City……….Now you are really pushing it. Are you telling us that your MMD mates only see areas of concern when there is a by election? Why should a VP direct municipalities on how to utilize their funds? This is an indication that your MMD gov do not have programmes for development. I dont know were you come from but in my home village, there hasnt been any signficant development. We talking about areas near the main raod(Great North Road). What about those in places like Kwana Bwalya? If l were you,l would l advise my mates to stop talking(promising) and get back to work. All people want is development with the little resources we got. I m sure we can achieve something if priorities are set properly not flying allover the world. l pity their small kids.

  28. Kuli kafwafwa ku Solwezi its like the party that will win will prove to be the popular party of the day. From what we have heard MMD are having a tough time most likely they might loose.

  29. BA LT U’VE DON WELL 2 REMOVE THE PICTURE WHICH HAD HIKAUMBA….COZ U PICTURES SPEAK VOLUMES THO U’D WRITTEN THAT ITS AN OLD ONE …….HIKAUMBA SHUD NOT APPER ON APOLITICAL ARTICAL …..THURSDAY WAPYA MUNZI………GEORGE PLIZ NO MORE BUSH PROMISES…….BUT DORA NAYE AWE MWANDI..

  30. Poor Zedians our President is busy moving all over the world looking for presidencial allowances George Kunda and his cabinet their are also busy campaigning for nothing no one to run the country….. let us stand up and do something for the betterment of our children..

  31. Dora Siliya, what will happen if you lose the elections tomorrow?? Will you still go ahead and release the K45m for electrification of the school??? Talk is cheap! You should have electrified that school long ago and then talk of what you have achieved you dumb f.o.o.l

  32. LT since when did MMD dance group started wearing national colours?have they abandoned their traditional blue colour?

  33. if i didnt know him i wouldnt believe that george kunda is a lawyer! he is one of the dumbest politicians in zambia at the moment. evrything that comes out of his mouth is nonsense. he is at par with shikap, mulong and the other nameless nitwits!

  34. #38 & 42 CHAPMAN, I like your expression ‘WAPYA MUNZI’, I get tickled with laughter, keep up with your sense of humour.

  36. I have one question a lot of same promised wee made in Chitambo recently and I wonder if at all any of those have been full filled, Electorates please be careful with these thugs. Why making promises now? I the same parliamentary election Gaston Sichilima received a good beating from a veteran UNIP cadre. What an embarrasment!!!!!!!!

  37. Ask them why MMD has not carried out theses promises in the last 20 years. A leopard does not change it’s spots.

  38. ba mmd balala people of solwezi teach them a lesson just like the peolple of kasama did. what is dora doing in solwezi becoz she resigned from mmd
