  1. Indian VEEP, with a nice white outfit, save for the gray socks and brown shoes. What a match, he must have bought it from a Chinese vendor.
Enerst Sakala….. you call that ‘guard of honor’, with one line of strictly malnourished para-military officers. That should explain why his belt does not fit, he’s hungry.

  2. The police officer must have been asking for exhaust emission tax from the motorist. He looks clean, I wish all roads in Zambia could be repaired like the one the picture. Good work ba LT.

  3. #3. Police Officers, so called Traffic officers don`t they have anything better to do than to disturb the traveling. This 2010, if they can`t afford can`t police cars mounted with computers to scan the tags, let them no disturb people who going to do serious work that will develop the country than ni chekeleko as usual.

#8. Incoming commissioner, i hope that loyalty does not translate into compromised performance at the Electoral commission, we have elections coming next year. No rigging please!

#13. Mr Banda looked presidential in this picture.

  4. Great pics LT! Even the political pics are colourful this time. We are finally getting to see more of the beautiful side of Zambia… could you kindly elaborate more on the New Mngmt. of The Vic Falls as captioned in pic #1?

  5. #6, which one are you?
    Ninebo Chale or 9 Chale?
The monkey from state house above the bill board is the new owner of Vic falls.

  6. My intellect might not be judiciary sound is a lift a law term? Or was tax payer resource being spent on commissioning a lift? Great pics with the diversity, even though we might not like it as I don’t RB is our elected pres. Thus we always need to track his doings. Is the Lady seriously being replaced at the electoral commision? My trust in her is better than the Chulu judge.

  7. #7 Capitol Hill, its Ninebo of course but 9 is my lucky number too – so both can go. OK, now I get the joke about the monkey…I had just woken up from my afternoon nap and my brain was too slow to connect the humour! Thanks.

  8. Why should fitting a lift in a building be cause for official celebrations. So how many dignitaries were invited to this high level function? I suspect business must have come to a standstill at the Ministry of Justice because of the same! Zambia sucks!

  9. My mouth gets more watery the longer I look at that salted dry fish! It’s simply the best – compared to the artificial tasting dry fish we find here.

  10. Nice pictures. However, LT may you please proof read your picture captions before uploading them. The grammer and spellings in some of the captions is appalling.

  11. Kaka ama contact glass ubukulu, pic # 13 india vice president is that a hip-star, kapompi akatoloshi ubunono

  12. Pic 8 – Esau Chulu bowing to RB, that’s a very disturbing picture.

Pic 13 – Indian VP is wearing skinny jeans in white.

  13. Nice pictures, But bane what is with those archaic look judges garb, they look so outdated and out of touch, like they are drama costumes! Why can’t the judiciary come up with “Zambian” attire for lawyers and judges, these were worn by the English judicial starting in the Medieval age!

  14. Zampeople #17 , i have the same observation as you in terms of the Area being croc territory but on the other hand i think he is not brave but stupid coz everybody knows, that river is croc infested but still goes there , alone for that matter.

  15. # 18,
you hit the nail. I don’t know why they wear those wigs, what do the signify?
I think those wigs were worn by bald nglishmen who were ashamed of showing tgheir bald heads, I dont know why our Judges should wear them,

  16. # 19 and 17 don’t say what u don’t know…..that Man is not foolish but is just doing that for his living. you may think you cool in britain but maybe he is stress free than you are ba BBC .i.e British bum cleaners. the man catches fish easy and goes to sleep 12 hours…..but for *****s like you sleep 4 hours pay day because of fxcking work your a.ss off

  17. you People of Zambia FIFA changed the jersey for the ref. from black to anther colour…..purple, blue etc. because they noticed that black man does not look good in black when it hot. so now why don’t we change this Fxcking clothing for the Judges.the really look bizarre and foolish on our judges. i thought we are independent

  18. Nice pix LT. Like other bloggers am amazed the entire DPP nd deputy min. were launchin a lift seriously… and they wil get paid 4 those hrs the wasted!

  19. Where are the pictures of the Sata for President 2011 posters in Kitwe and the HH for President badges in Ndola? I sense the coming of a tribalist fight for the pacts presidency. HH’s people in the NCC are pushing for the presidency qualifications to include a bachelors degree. Sata better enorol at Cavendish or AIBT for an 18 month intensive BCom degree. This way he’ll qualify if HH’s plans materialize.

  20. #15 Tente. Please it is Litapi ! Tilapia is a whiteman’s mispronounciation. Google Tilapia or go to Wiki and you will see what I mean!

  21. Nice pics LT
…..Pic # 8. …That man is a judge for furks sake, why be so reverential ?…. Indeed let’s hope he will be impartial come election time.
…Pic #5…. I did not understand what launching a lift meant until i read posting # 12. Thx chileshe for clearing up the confusion. I also, cannot see anything significant about this.

  22. LT, now you are talking.
A lot of good happen in Zambezilan. From time to time would love to see, themes running like gardens, IT, markets, schools, jobs.. from different parts of the country.

  23. Pic 1 ‘Apo wasanga Imfumu, e pesano’ translation… Where you find a King, is a Palace.
I suppose when RB threw the Monkey clan out of State House grounds he thought they would be stranded! Well, well, Vic Falls is under new management, indeed!

  24. Pic #5

Are those officials “launching a lift” at the ministry of justice as in “launching an elevator”? What am I missing? Is that something to really waste tax payers money on?……i hope i am just missing the point

  25. Pic #1

“Vic Falls under New Management?” From the picture it looks like it’s the same dude who managed ‘kanitundila’ on Nyama Choma.

    Good Pics LT

  27. yangu uyu VEEP waku India eee, akalitolishi kapompi sure!elyo utusapato nato…iyee!chachine bamwenye bakaso saana!kuti wafwala ka hipster ku govt function.

  28. Pic.# 6. That lady doesn’t look like she’s inspecting anything. She’s posing for the photo.
No. 32 T. Stevens – Be careful asking for help getting a plot on a public site – you’re just begging to be conned.

  29. Pic.5….”launching a lift!!!!!?” are these guys really serious? so they even put a placard with their names..what a load of time wasters..maybe they should also have one for every Ntemba opened, since they are shallow minded men..i wonder what work is beng done or are the Donors doing it?….
