  1. Whilest we appreciate the invitation and recognition of RB as the Head of State of a neighboring State, Can’t RB Delegate some of these these trips coz from the looks of things His schedule is like 2days in the office 3Days out attending some conference and 2 Days Relaxing somewhere.
Meanwhile the Flood Victims have refused to back to the water logged areas they came from and nothing is being done to ensure that we don’t experience the same ordeal again this coming rain season.
Shikapwasha can u tell us what has been put in place if any at all?

  2. There is no any other President like this retired fool! He is gonna be in the air as soon as the elections are done and he is busy finding his best settlement country. What a President……

Now we know that he spends most of his focus on, planning for visits all over the globe. This guy should have not gone to SA and Namibia last week, but gone to this one though. And what is the point of all these other Minister seeing him off? Who is looking at ministerial policies while they all at the airport? Anything other than this President and his minions will do for Zambia please. Can anyone in MMD challenge this old git? Whats happened to the dynamic people within MMD?

  3. All my bags are packed
    Am ready to go
    But already I feeling lonesome
Cause Am leaving on a Jet Plane
Everything I do I do for me
And Am leaving on a jet plane
    I don’t how soon I be
    Flying on a jet plane
    Again

  4. So when is he visiting Zambia again? Thats six more trips to make to the same celebrations as
    1. Chairperson for the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR)
    2. member of SADC,
    3. COMESA and as
    4. a neighboring Head of State.
    5. Most traveled person on earth

  5. Hope the people of DRC find sustainable peace in their country in the coming years which will also be of benefit to us as Zambians in economics and security. I commend our president for wishing to support our northern neighbours as they wish to build a more stable and prosperous future for their country.

  6. Looking at a positive note, Thandiwe is now following Rupiah ‘Marcopolo’ Banda. She has noticed ati it’s too much sleeping alone.

  7. The VP must have woken up at 4 am in the morning to prepare and see his master off. I dont see the American VP sending off Obama, do these guys realise the cost of just sending off and receiving the President. Times have changed, what happens if no one sends or receives him and you are busy calling yourselves a “poor country”. Zambia, we need to change as certain things are not worth to do….and old fashioned-all for selfish reasons, let the wife and kids go to see him come and off at their own personal cost-service chiefs, ministers etc are lining up like robots for the royal handshake-jokers of the worst order

  8. I quess and trust that all these trips are budgeted for otherwise it is more useful to embark tours locally as to appreciate the difficulties our rural people are going through than lodging in 5 star hotels in foreign lands. We have a measles outbreak in the country and I would be more at peace to see our GRZ work tirelessly to prevent the deaths of our little ones….God help us

  9. @#5 DEJA VU “Oh babe I hate to go, theres so many times have let you down, so many times have made you cry. But Zambians they dont mean a thing. I’m leaving on a jet plane, don’t know when I’ll be back again” LOL

  10. ba LT, they say that “when a dog bites a man, that is not news, but when a man bites a dog, then that is news”. In the same way when Vasco da Banda leaves the country it is not news anymore, I think it will be news when he stays in the country nji?

  11. Meanwhile, back in Zambia, teachers, soldiers, policemen, council and municipal workers, etc, etc, not paid. All MMD cadres, ministers, corrupt justices, judges, magistrates, special assistants – fully paid and stomachs full. Zambia, the real Africa. When is the last time Zambia had a major air disaster? Quite a while, I reckon. Maybe one is overdue. Any soothsayers out there? Would be nice to have all of them in one plane: kafupi, fake rev, mupipe, zamtel Dola, fill in the missing blanks. And then KABOOM! One weeklong, no, make that Month-long celebratory mourning period.

  12. Just like a kid excited about learning how to walk ‘Kamwendo Munjila’ is at it again while Zambians are suffering with no food to put on their stomachs! You can not even explain to the Zambians why you have recalled all Washington DC staff back to Zambia! MMD is eating its vomit!

It was just a matter of time before the recalled you people because I heard its hard to control most staff at that embassy to do what the president wanted. Even Chiluba had difficulties having embassy workers shop for his suits. Mbula in South Africa got in trouble because the man always answered his phone when Sata called especially in regards to when George Kunda was receiving his intravenous IRV treatment. This made the MMD shaken during the Mfumbwe elections because the VP was out and RB didnt expect it. There are more developments coming even at home. The VP will be replaced by defence minister in matter of weeks. Remember Nevers Mumba? He is being recalled too. Alot of instability within the party.

#13 Red Card- Beyonce wapa Zed – Ah you are not so young, I suspect? Miss the good old days? Whe the whole President would get treatment at UTH?
