  1. This is great news. Welcome Mr. President. Hope you have a fruitful and wonderful visit to our nation.

  2. I hope there is an MOU for a football coach in the signing ceremony! We need the Brazilian flare

  3. Mr. Capitalist ati great news? It means more inkongole!
As for the Multi Millionaire are you going to pay him with your million Kwacha or million US$????? Even Kalusha, if you pay hime US$1m then he will produce the best team ever!

  4. This is a very important visit from an emerging global power which I hope will lead to more strategic partnerships. I just hope that some politicians will not begin to referring to Brazilians as ‘infestors’ as well. This visit is tangible evidence of the fact that Zambia is viewed positively throughout the world as I doubt Lula would waste time and resources stopping over in the country if it such a disaster zone that some would have us believe.

  5. #2, that is a useless, slavery, colonial, backward thinking to believe that it’s only a foreign (European or Brazilian or any rotten country) coach who can do miracles, unfortunately even this guy kalusha (a living example of a modern day slave) firmly believes the same. I would rather go a for local coach and not what you are suggesting. And to think Lula will do miracles for us is utter rubbish. The only people who will develop Zambia are Zambians. To put our hopes on foreigners is quiet sickening to say the least…

  6. This is another excuse for Kamwendo Bwezani to visit Brazil, leave Thandiwe behind, there beauties there, and also leave Dora..Bwezani hereby revenges the visit of Brazillian President..shame on you kamwendo.

  7. #7 Typical Zambian mentality – the man cant win. If he travels he is criticised, if he is visited he is criticised. What exactly do you people want, a hermit for a president?

  8. ZAMBIANS DONT GET EXCITED IF ITS NOT DIRECTLY BENEFITING YOU!
There is a plot and its happening in Mfuwe! Tunnels dug so deep that it is made like a small town with offices and a radio station transmitter 5 times powerful than any in the sub sahara region! All these presidents coming are here to buy Zambia! Next time you are asked to move away from your house, it will be because another country has bought your compound! Watch.

  9. I am beginning to believe that either Zambians are such great comedians or there is really something wrong, why don’t we look at the bigger picture and foresee positive results from any venture that is undertaken. Instead of being happy that President Luiz inacio Lula Da Silva is in our country on an important bilateral mission all we are thinking about is how useless his trip is, I only hope this ends here on this blog, because there may be some leaders who will catch the air and rise to the moment and insult him.

  10. So he was just invited by the comrade and not him neccessarily having seen the worthiness of Zambia and taking the first step….well, I wonder how committed and serious he would be ? and by the way, Brazill is full of European investment and can someone educate me on the strength of Brazil`s investments beyond their bordes probably that will raise more hope

  11. dont worry zambians we will benefit football tactics,de footballer is in the country. kalu this is de chance to turn this president into zambian football coach.where are you?

  12. :) My brothers in Bemba land what’s happening today Amon chisenga having sex with a goat. Mbuzi zavutika. Let them visit.

  13. #11 & 12 typical zambian short sighted, immediate gratification mentality. i have a different perspective for you: how about considering the implications/ benefits to the country of lula’s visit 50 years from today. again i urge you to focus on short sighted, immediate gratification.
i am sorry i have to put you through this; you possibly can not fathom or plan for anything so far away. lets try 25 years from today…. no ? still too far for you? okay 10 years from today, and thats my final offer!!

  14. modern law dictates the onus is on the defendant to prove his innocence. i am sure my learned lawyer colleagues have an appropriate terminology for it. so if you know that your country or property has all these good things: you go OUT and invite people to come and evaluate/evaluate them….. you do not wait for them to suddenly realise that you have all these nice things and COME to you. # 11 i suppose this is what they call marketing; could be wrong

  15. I wonder how many invitations RB has sent out to have an unusual Country responding. He has probably invited the whole world.
I any Zambia will work on a project to import crude oil from Angola and refine it in Zambia, that will be the Man!!

  16. I am sure bloggers are waiting for Fred Mmembe to give you the cue as to how to treat this visit of the Brazillian President. So far Fred, has not made up his mind to rubbish the visit because Liuz Inacio is a friend of Castro who has given them an office in Cuba. Come on Fred, please do not disappoint the people.Denounce Rupiah Banda for the visit, after all everything Rupia does is wrong. The only person who can not put a foot wrong is Bashi Chilufya – Kano nga ebo.
