UPND/PF pact headed for doom- Mabenga

Share

The Movement for Multiparty Democracy MMD says it has been vindicated that the PF/UPND pact is headed for doom.
Party National Chairman Michael Mabenga who is in Mongu to drum up support for the MMD parliamentary candidate in the Luena by-election said Zambians must now realize that the Pact has no agenda is only meant for taking over the nation for selfish reasons.

He stressed that Zambians must now make the right choice on who to vote for now that they know that the Pact has deceived them enough.

Mr Mabenga said the MMD is now even more optimistic of scooping the 2011 presidential elections with the emerging cracks in the PF/UPND pact.

His comments come in the wake of divisions that have emerged in the pact following the two parties’ fielding of separate candidate in the Chadiza and Kaoma ward elections, violating the 2009 agreement they signed not to compete against each other in successive elections.

  1. I WILL ONLY VOTE FOR MMD IF THEY NOMINATE FELIX MUTATI AS PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE.
VIVA MUTATI. YOU THE MAN. Bamudala ba Banda nomubomba naimwe nomba fye namukota.

2-Watch bbc iPlayer : When China Meets Africa. You gonna see how mutati just tells the chinese to do what the hell they like. (Mutati)

  3. I feel for those who banked all their hope in the so called Pact. The reality seem to be too harsh for them.

  4. And 2006 is not very long ago even for those with short memories. A poorly organized PF, at that time, nearly swept the MMD out of power. What about the 2008 presidential elections? Who can doubt Michael Sata’s very good performance in that election? Since 2006, PF has been in total control of all the key urban areas of Zambia.

  5. VIVA sata. kuomboka could be true but the man is Objective. My Vote is on Sata but if MMD is to be an option. Am Voting For Mutati. Otherwise KuyaBEbele mmd.
    Vote mutati in MMD.
    ZAMBIA vote PABWATOOOOOOOO.

  6. HOW TO HANDLE A RUMOUR
Keep this philosophy in mind the next time you either hear, or are about to
    repeat, a rumour:
In ancient Greece (469 – 399 BC), Socrates was widely lauded for his
    wisdom.
One day the great philosopher came upon an acquaintance who ran up to him
excitedly and said, “Socrates, do you know what I just heard about one of your students?”
“Wait a moment,” Socrates replied. “Before you tell me, I’d like you to
pass a little test. It’s called the Test of Three.”
    “Three?”
“That’s right,” Socrates continued. “Before you talk to me about my
student, let’s take a moment to test what you’re going to say.”
“The first test is TRUTH. Have you made absolutely sure that what you are
about to tell me is True?”
“No,” said the man, “actually, I…

  7. No,” said the man, “actually, I just heard about it.”
“All right,” said Socrates. “So you don’t really know if it is True or
    not?”
“Now, let’s try the second test, the test of GOODNESS. Is what you are
about to tell me about my student something Good?”
    “No, to the contrary….”
“So,” Socrates continued, “you want to tell me something bad about him even though you’re not certain it’s true?
The man shrugged, a little embarrassed.
Socrates continued, “You may still pass though, because there is a third
test -the filter of USEFULNESS. Is what you want to tell me about my student going to be Useful to me?”
    “No, not really….”
“Well” concluded Socrates, “if what you want to tell me is neither True,
nor Good, nor even Useful, then why tell me about it at…

  8. there’s no need for the MMD and PF rebes to be excited coz of a pact misunderstanding in local govt elections. That’s a small problem that can be sorted. MMD shud be more concerned with their poor showing in recent elections where UPND got their seats.
