UPND cadres marched to Parliament on Tuesday to air their demands, charging that Major Chizyuka is not a member of parliament claiming he has continued insulting the party president Hakainde Hichilema.
The cadres who were led by UPND Lusaka Province Chairperson Shell Mulyata demanded that the UPND Namwala MP joins the ruling MMD.
Police in riot gear, however, blocked the irate placard carrying cadres who wanted to meet the embattled MP at Parliament buildings.
Major Chizyuka has fallen out of favor with his party for strongly opposing the UPND/PF pact.

Who advises UPND really? Mulyata, you have bigger problems than wasting your time staging demos which will not yield anything.How are you handling the break away faction in UPND that is in talks with MMD? Muntanga, Hachipuka, Matongo, Chizangwe, Hamududu, Chizyuka your big guns have repositioned their mark and not aiming at your enemy, they are pointed at UPND.As for the insults, HH is the father of this bad insulting culture in UPND, he got a dorse of his own medicine.
Does she know that HH has sold out Mazoka’s party to satan for a southern province deputy ministerial position for 3 months only before being penzalized? Does she know that what Sata did to penza is what he attempted doing on HH at his residence last week? The majority members and founders have vowed never to insult and betray Mazoka as HH. The resistency is a save UPND campaign led by eminent people who believed in Mazoka’s dream.
