President Rupiah Banda has with immediate effect revoked the appointment of Chrispin Musosha as Deputy Minister of Education in a move aimed at instilling discipline in both Government and the ruling party.
The President said he has decided to relieve Musosha of his duties because of indiscipline and causing wrangles in Government and the ruling Movement for Multiparty Democracy (MMD) in Luapula Province.
President Banda said discipline in his Government was paramount and that all Ministers, Deputy Ministers, Members of Parliament, and party officials should at all cost adhere to good conduct.

He said it is his wish that power should be shared between Ministers, Deputy Ministers, and ordinary party officials.
The President explained that people holding Ministerial and Deputy Ministerial positions should try and allow ordinary MMD members to aspire and hold senior party positions at various levels during the forthcoming provincial conferences.
” It does not make political sense for Ministers or Deputy Ministers who live in Lusaka to try and aspire to be in Provincial Executive Committees when they do not ordinarily reside in those areas,” Mr Banda said
He said leader in MMD should also allow local people in provinces to run the party.
President Banda has since transferred Luapula Province Minister Boniface Kawimbe, to the Ministry of Education where he would take over from Musosha whose appointment has been revoked.
Mr. Banda has also appointed Bahati Patriotic Front (PF) Member of Parliament, Besa Chimbaka as new Luapula Province Minister replacing Dr. Kawimbe.

Dr Kawimbe deputy to Dora? With such long experience in government, more education and senior in years by far, this is a humiliation for the good doctor. I know that a Provincial minister is equivalent to deputy but while you are in the Province, you are you have more authority. I can’t imagine Siliya writing a speech and asking her deputy to go and read it for her!

Musosha is an independent thinker and hard worker, he started his politics a long time ago in Lima party and he won Mansa parliamentary seat at a crucial time when PF swept Luapula. It is because of his hard working that people gave him a vote. If he contests as independent he will still make it. Rupiah is blinded by the so called nominated MPs of his and those people who are holding nominated positions like more than half NEC and tubena Mulongoti. Elections are something else, you need to surround yourself with elected people because it somehow gives you an idea about their popularity and how that can help you ascend. The circus continues, the next thing we will hear is that Banda has appointed Al Bashir of Sudan as his deputy. And this Mugabe dare devil style of politics will ruin Zambia, Bashir killed millions of our fellow Nubian brothers and sisters, I cannot therefore see the logic of inviting him to come to Zambia. It’s like the engineering acquitals of Chiluba and his wife. These events will all come back to haunt Banda. Only time will tell and the end is not good.

The courts of Zambia are the worst disgraced during RB’s rule. The lawyers have been exposed as the most corrupt people in our land. They call themselves judges or whatever but their thoughts are evil, they love money and dance to the tune of those in leadership. they cheat people that they are independent when executing their duties when in reality they are wiping the politicians’ bums.

In private, it seems RB supports the clause in the CRC Report to appoint ministers from outside Parliament. One wonders why his party actively short it down. If an MP who lives in Lusaka is not expected to know what is going on in his constituency because he is now a minister, how the hell is he going to be an effective representative?

Musosha is right.If you remember yesterday some Major DC complained against what he called bad remarks by Radio Yangeni against MMD?GRZ. This is connected to Musosha’s ouster because he never ascibed to false development stories being carried around by Machungwa and Co. Ironically Musosha is one of the only 3 MMD MPs in Luapula and also his constituency is one of the few councils in Luapula where MMD have councillors.(this includes one won recently)
