Jonas Sakuwaha At Al Hilal

Share

Zambia national team midfielder Jonas Sakuwaha is in Sudan to negotiate a deal with league champions Al Hilal.

According to sources on the ground in Khartoum, Sakuwaha has arrived today, Thursday.

“Sakuwaha arrived in Khartoum today and was received by Al Hilal officials, “the source on the ground in Khartoum said. “Tomorrow (Friday) he will train with the team.”

Sakuwaha has been clubless since French side Lorient released him just a year after joining the team from Zesco United last December.

He went on to play for French Ligue 2 side Le Harve for a brief spell before returning to home to Zambia.

Sakuwaha was recently linked with a move to African club champions TP Mazembe of DR Congo.

  1. Are zambian players allergic to european soccer, no sooner had the signed up than they came back languishing and clubless. WHY?

  2. He is foolish.. he has been shunning National duties and see where he is now. Let him go join Kaiser chiefs or TP Mazembe. or go to Israel.

  3. but umu guyz tewakene to go to angola inorder to cement his stay in france but he was shown the door. sorry boy; on the other side i think france is not a good choice for our boys. Zed players dont pull through in france (katongo mwaice and kalaba were once in france and what happened)

  4. #6 Suntwe, you right. But also the style of running is different, in France (Europe) they players carry themselves naturally. But our Zambian players want to run like Kalu, Ronaldo or Msiska! And that is what pisses off coaches. Mulega has succeded because he is down to earth, not ba Sakuhawa, ka Kalaba even ka Felix Katonga, why paint hair with socks up his waist! Fakofu..

  5. Ku Sudan. tali Kuli war. How much is the boy going to be paid??? We want to know so that we can give him free advise….

    Hope Jonas you succeed.

  6. Sad for the boy.
    Gud talent but no club.
These agents can sometimes be killant. They always want to eat big and end up messing players.
My advise…4get sudan, get back to zesco or go down south where competition is becoming stiff.

Zambian players, jst stick home. there are enough competitions, though no equivalent infrastructure, to keep u shaped up for AFCON. We hav cecafa, cosafa, chan, inter-club ftbo, local and many mo. jst stay home….reason u go is cash not talent development…sadly I wd do the saame. poor zambians.

  7. This boy should not be ashamed to come back to ZESCO, he will have more respect and exposure than going to Darfur. This goes out to all in diaspora its better to come back home than be a vagabond in foreign country.

  8. King’s Kid 12 and Stakeholder 13 you seem to talk so much about coming home. “Niwiso leeba”. Sakuwaha probably doesnt even blogg on LT.

  9. #4,i do not agree with u about language, the Ivorians, the DRC,The Senagalese and Cameronun players others have never sat behind a desk, hardly speak any english but play in the UK,but have made it in football.Football has no language bearer. Its the mentality.Period.

  10. Sakuwaha, jst get back 2 Zesco and play continental futball wit them. With Zesco,u wil nt need 2 prove yourself. They already know wat u are able 2 do on the pitch. You are still young(though wali tuner imyaka).

  11. ba LT, where did u get this information?? u got wrong infor nd u publish it?? damn it! the guy is going to mereikh fc not hilal!! i can see a number of ignorant bloggers here, u cant compare zesco or watever zambian club to hilal or mereikh!! these clubs ar far much better than ours!! think before u blog!! ukutumpa!
