Weeeknd Scorecard: NCV Strong Without Me-Simataa

Share

Simataa Simataa says his absence from the FAZ AGM on Saturday will not sway the affiliates resolve over the no-confidence vote.

Simataa is serving an indefinite suspension after ignoring a Faz disciplinary committee summon to answer charges for writing letters to banks to freeze Faz’s accounts at the height of the impasse when he was the Andrew Kamanga led factions general secretary.

¨For some reason they believe that if Simataa is not there they will have it easy,” Simataa told Muvi TV Assignment show on which he was the guest on Sunday.

“This is not about Simataa it is the affiliates. Suspending me on writing to banks well this area they have come into is a forest for them but for me it is a plain.

“They have entered into an area where there are no free kicks I have been a banker most of my life. How did they expect the banks to operate when there was a dissolved committee as directed by the National Sports Council?¨

  1. Iwe chi Simata why cant you leave great Kalu alone?yes he was good at free kicks so what?chalekukalipa..this fool called Simata is very anoying oto footbal..fool

  2. Simatta you have been a banker who was fired and after that has failed to find a job. Your office is at arcades coffee shop. You cant even afford an office to conduct your campaigns so you think FAZ will be a spring board for you

  3. 1 Q. pleazzzzzzzzzzzzz! HOW MANY GOOD GAY (married OR engaged TO …) FOOTBALL (SOCCER) PLAYERS (married or engaged to the opposite sex) do we have in the ‘team’ ? R we gonna toss them out??? (once the shit hits the fan)………… coz of their sexual preferences?

  4. 1 Q. pleazzzzzzzzzzzzz! HOW MANY GOOD gay (married OR engaged traditionaly or otherwise) do we have in the ‘team’ ? R we gonna toss them out??? (once the shit hits the fan)………… coz of their sexual preferences?

  5. 1 Q. pleazzzzzzzzzzzzz! HOW MANY GOOD Gay (married OR engaged, traditionaly or otherwise..,) do we have in the ‘team’ ? R we gonna toss them out??? (once the crap hits the fan)………… coz of their sexual preferences?

  6. 1 Q. pleazzzzzzzzzzzzz! HOW MANY GOOD Gay SOCCER / FOOTBALL PLAYERS (married OR engaged, traditionaly or otherwise..,) do we have in the ‘team’ ? R we gonna toss them out??? (once the crap hits the fan)………… coz of their sexual preferences?

  7. The problem is Zambia is we worship wrong doers. Simataa is right. Standard of soccer in Zambia have dropped drastically yet for many people it is business as usual.

For once let us be serious.

  8. If Simataa was an animal, not even dogs or vultures can eat him, just same as hyena. So I don’t see any rebels coming out of the bush of Southern province-lead by Mazabuka United to challenge people who will be smelling with perfume.

  9. Simaata cannot even be voted at any election. This moneky stood for vice president of FAZ and lost to Munaile miserably. His only hope is come in as secretary general through through a crooked way but you will not manage. You will this year die from Hunger my friend.

  10. Shame on u # 15, still beats me why we are so backward still wanting to divide the nation based on where one comes from, we see very little sensible debate from most bloggers

  11. If there are 10 good football administratorz in Zambia with a passion for the sport, Simataa Simataa iz very high on that list, while our celebrated Kalu iz nowhere among a 100. This issue of Kalu “finishing” hiz term iz a non-starter, when the people, real or imagined, say it’s time to go.

  12. If FAZ was dissolved, was it the duty or responsibility of Simata to write to the Banks to freeze FAZ accounts? The pace at which Simata wants to be in FAZ is the thing that makes me sick and bothered. Why the hurry? Why cant you wait for next year? Gather your facts and use them to oust the current FAZ. Your actions are true reflection of vindictiveness.

  13. # 11. Who plays soccer. Is it FAZ or players? Who is finished? Our footballers are busy making money. Thats is why they were arrested in Finland. Follow football correctly.

  14. Would strongly disagree withe notion that Simataa just wants to be in FAZ by all meanz. The man waz at the helm of FAZ at one time, for crying out aloud! And I don’t think the man failed anything, anyone to prove?

  15. We want the grievances to be hilighted, point by point, at the meeting and the accused to be accorded a chance to defend themselves. I don’t think the decline of football in Zambia can be blamed on one person. Not even on one executive cos the decline started well before the Kalu era. If we don’t identify the real problems then not even ushering in a new executive will help. Football ( esp club level ) has suffered a decline in sponsorship ( eg Mighty Wanderers ) and cutting short a term of office of an executive will not solve such ( obvious ) problems. Better to let them finish their term and hand over smoothly .

  16. Zambians are good at talking and not delivering. What surprises me is the fact that the stakeholders in football cannot sit down on one table and map the way forward. Investment is key to development whether it is sport or business. I cannot see anyone putting into Zambian football the kind of money that can make big changes.

  17. At #19 where did u get that list of Zambia having 19 good football administrators? You are retrogressive as well..look at simata Simata has club Amakumbi, how is the standard of football at da club? The club has been in division one for so long..Now can you compare it to Kalu..atleast Kalu has achieved alot in his career and not Simata.he was a banker and failed and with football has failed again..He is a failure..Go Great Kalu..

  18. Simaata n the team r backed by government. Its so visible that even a bline can see.The best thing Kalu can do is to give what the government want.To please a fool do what a fool whats

  19. # 22 Simaata Simaata failed in FAZ because he could not raise funds for the nation teams. He claimed he was been let down by the Govt and the corporate world . But that will still be the case , the fact that Kalu has managed to raise funds through his goodwill and charisma does not mean the corporate world will continue with Simaata especially now that he a desparate loafer-it will definately scare away the sponsors Kalu has harnessed and our football will be back at Zero. Jealous and Greed are the only motivating factors driving Simaata because with his experience in FAZ he should be the first one to congratulate Kalu on the Job well done in raising funds for the national teams.

  20. Minister Chipungu and NCZ wantg Kalu out. But kalu is a real sports man and not a politician. He is a real calculator and both these people will be defeated. we are all hearing of political affiliations and tribalism. just because kamanga is a relative of chipungu and the simataas hate bembas does not mean FAZ must be dissolved. Simata rigned as faz president. no one trusts a guy who gives up! Kalu is more disciplined and even if he is heavily insulted and belittled, he remains quite and does his job. this is the sober man we want. look hbow shaggy simata’s hair is. does the man even have a blanket?
