The 16 Faz Super Division team today resolved to start the league before the April 30 annual general meeting to be held at the Mulungushi Rock in Kabwe.
This follows a meeting held at the Pamodzi Hotel on Wednesday morning where Faz president Kalusha Bwalya and his opposite Andrew Kamanga, who represented Kabwe Warriors, were in attendance.
“We were able to agree on the commencement of the league and other issues I think can be resolved as we go forward. The league will start this weekend,” Faz vice president Boniface Mwamelo said.
And Kamanga said the decision to kick off the league was a majority decision of the delegates at the Pamodzi meeting.
“The meeting went very well so in the interest of football it was resolved that games start this weekend. That was the majority view,” Kamanga said.
And Simataa Simataa said with that development, all lower division clubs backing them should also kickoff with their respective campaigns.
“Following the Super Division club s resumption of the league bearing in mind the resolution not to play until the AGM the interim committee requests division 1, 2 and 3 to also play. Let’s all clubs remain resolved to sort out the mess at the AGM,” Simataa said.
Meanwhile, the highlight of this weekend’s Super Division Week 1 fixtures will see Red Arrows host Nkana at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka in a match that will be broadcast live on SuperSport.
On Sunday, the second televised match of the weekend will be across town at Woodlands Stadium where Green Buffaloes will host their promoted sister club from Ndola Kalewa.
KALU HAS WON. SHAME TO KAMANGA , SIMATA,GIFT CHAIPA, PIVORTY &LASTLY TO TEDDY MULONGA & CHIPUNGU MINISTER
That is what we need to see happening. The nature realisation that things can move on while we wait to resolve differences. People differ in every soceity but it doesn’t mean that is the end of the world for everything. People differe because everybody is passionate about what they are doing, which is good. It just happens that we can’t all have the same style for doing things – if we all had the same way of doing things it would be very strange and suspicious. That difference is the source of problems when people struggle to reconcile the differences in their approaches. This is a surprising turn of events and sense of maturity on both sides. Let’s move on.
#1 – Stop seeing everything in terms of who has won and who has lost. It is a very inexperienced and immature way of looking at life. Usually if you judge like that then it is you who has lost because you fail to notice the value in reconciliation. Stop being childish. Those guys don’t think at such a low level like you do…
That’s what people withe love of football must do, find a common ground, well done gentlemen. #1. There are no winnerz or lozerz in this whole saga, eyez on the ball.
Great is the winner
Its good they have sensed the loss and nonsense of their so called FAZ faction.Great Kalu will always be GREAT.Meanwhile continue cracking the whip whenever possible.
Kalu wabanaya BAMUKUTA !!!! Iyee INSONI kuli balya !!!! Ba Kalu please come to Nchanga for the Saturday CAF game tukakulumbeko !!!
THE GREAT KALU NA SENDA!!!!!!
Kalu I remember alisa tu nyunya pa Gabiters stadium and I knew ati Chi Ka LA mukali. He is surely the best we have in Zambia. Let him lead Zambian football
Go Kalu Go King Kalu I wonder what would be the next move for the haters Simata X 3 X S.h.i.t
It was not necessary in the first place. Honestly, the invisible hand hasnt helped us move forward.
Reality has crept in for the soccer clubs.
like my earlier views, it was unnesessary to ask the clubs not to resume playing the game becoz of few selfish individuals… I hope S H I T MASTER and no Nzeru Kamanga have realised that you cant take pipo for granted. You two have succumbed and have realised that no matter how you play it you will still lose! some of us still remember how S h i tmaster abandoned FAZ (coz he failed to chew what he swallowed). Mr. Kamanga, with due respect wake up, you are just being used infact if your plan had succeeded you were not ear marked to become FAZ President….. EYES ON THE BALL!!
Whats seems to be lost in this fiasco is why did the four commitee members quit. It is not about hating Kalu the fact that he could not form a qurum he had to call an AGM .He did not . It seems pipo have lost the debate and now ti is foucsed on Kamanga / Simmata vs Kalu. Let us stick to the facts why did Munaile an co quit !!
I see some people are kicking their feet with such developments. They want us to start looking at why the committee members quit FAZ . Those members can not substantiate their allegations hence it is a waste of time going back to their cases. This weekend l m in Zed and will find time to watch soccer. Well done both parties.
Congrates Guys, Its high time we started resolving such issues amicably. LET THE BEAUTIFUL GAME FLOW.
Some people are a rare breed.
Just because baumfwa ati bring back the US$12500. Fund iikali.
Hey pipo com watch ZED ftbo, No mo bikering. kamanga & Team are now gd boys after NSCZ apologised at their mulungushi mting for changing venue, shame.
These smo teams frm southern they enjoy shouting nonsense in the press hoping the who ftbo family will heed them..to hell.
u kno why kalu avoids meeting kamanga team in their capacity as wateva? because they were elected by an ilegal gathering not recognised by fifa. wateva cam out of that meeting is nul and void.
…bytheway, this no confidence motion would still hav bn a flop and wil stil be a flop even if the AGM was held at NSCZ offices.
luks like 116 clubs are for the motion but they need 149 out of 223 to get it through. so they need to solicit supot from 33 clubs…this is a hell of a job. beta tone down language ova it than speak too confidently coz it luks like it’s the only weapon for the oposing guys.
AND this PVT thing, why be sceptical about it if I know Iam headed for landslide.
Giv pipo enough rope to hang themselves ma.
Viva Kalu Viva!!!:d
Ba Mbuzi pa #13, that is stone age history!! Xmas has come and gone, two meetings have been held and people have even gone to Geneva and come back since Munaile left. The issue is simple, Simataa and Kamanga are up to no good..they cried for an emergency meeting which they were given only for them to have a meeting of their own, another meeting in Geneva concluded only Kalu’s executive has authority and AGM rightfully was set but alas another parallel meeting was concocted…watch this space, even the 30 April meeting will be disturbed by these people. Lets forget about them, infact football is about players whose livelihood depends on it, and fans who spend their hard earned money on it, not on fake admnistrators of little known clubs in Monze, Mazabuka or any other part of Zambia
Eyes on the ball… Kalu umwana wa bola…
Kalu has shown a rare breed of quality. He has been able to withstand pressure exerted from high and managed to stir the ship through the tsunami. Ge played at the highest point and knows what pressure is. Where did simata and kamanga play? Simata resigned as FAZ interim president when then nation needed him but couldn’t stomach the pressure that comes with the job. Today he is telling us he wants to be GS, what crass is that!!! Like Kalu said EYES ON THE BALL. What have they won by cutting shot the league last year? Zambians wake up. Every time somebody attacks a person out of malice because we want to PHD, we tolerate them until things backfire. Looking athe two AGMs so far, you cant impeach Kalu and you will be humiliated.
It is very very good that pipo are now seeing the reality in this whole saga. Anyway some pipo are still asking why those 4 resigned. Such pipo should also ask why those same 4 were having dark corner meetings??? Munaile a Hon Member of parliament was in that meeting just as shimatako shimata.
Go back in history these are mostly the same guys who were not for the idea of Kalu coming back to contribute to zambian ftbo beyond on the pitch. Before he did anything like coaching or adm Munaile is on record blocking the move. Willie phiri, chi kazabu all those.
Am happy some pipo are alluding to chi shimata’s resignation but they shud go further and elaborate what he said on that resignation. Zambia wont go anywhere at can 96 s.a. He got a rude shock zambia reached quoters baba.
I always wonder whether those that support Kalu have a slightest idear of the problem that has put him Kalu’s name in disrepute.
This man since he steped in his office has never let FAZ accounts audited. Whether you were a great footballer this is unacceptable by any standareds.
FAZ has Lawyers but when they win contracts they sought other lawyers which is contrary to FAZ statutes. And those contracts are known by him alone and he only tells them we ve got this so we will be having a signing ceremony. Please twapapata tefyo ba runninga football muchalo ifyo. Ngamulefwaya pangeni itimu lyenu period.
#26 .Nakuyamo , thank you for hitting the nail on the head. That is exactly my point in my earlier comment. The 4 members who resigned, some have accused him of pocketing appearance money, sellling players and acting lawyer for national team contracts. recently there was an accusation on the Nike deal. But typical Zambians and there hero worshipping are calling the issues stone age. !!
@ # 27 & 26, you are both lost souls! It seems you have no slight Idea how organisations like FAZ operates and my advise is not to exporse your ignorance on matters you dont comprehend. The cut and paste syndrome is what you both thrive on i.e you dwell on hear say.
Kalu wants change he is not interested in corrupt lawyers who just want to chew money for nothing simple signatures. Pa z we are used to getting millions of kwachas either for a simple signature or a allowances for meetings that never took place thats why FAZ has always gone bankrupt. Kalu wants to avoid this afterall he sources for money out of his innitiatives so let the boy do it his style period, ba katyetye mwenda mwalimwa imwe bakabolala…..!!! Munaile is part of the Zambian Law makers in the parliament who are used to stealing ‘officially’ twanaka neenu bakabolala MPs…..thieves.
A Successful person is one who AFTER PEOPLE HAVE THROWN BRICKS AT HIM WILL PICK THEM UP AND USE THEM TO BUILD A STRONG FOUNDATION.Someone who is able to withstand pressure exerted and manage to stir the Ship through the storm.God is in control. It shall be well
How can we pump sense in Kamuchanga and Shibaata? Please help.
#26, change your name to something better then, and only then may you be credible. Other than that you and #27 may be also blindly pulling down, PHD syndrome.
#31. Face facts soccer pa Z organisation is crap. Just ask the current coach. make positive contributions to debate.
