Mbesuma To Know His Club Fate This Weekend

Share

Striker Collins Mbesuma will know his fate at Golden Arrows this weekend when the South African league season comes to a close.

According to Kickoff.com Golden Arrows boss Mato Madlala will make a decision at the end of their last game of the season on Saturday.

She said the future of coach Ernst Middendorp will also be made clear after the game against Orlando Pirates.

“The future of Middendorp and Mbesuma will only be discussed after our last game. We will release an official statement regarding whether they are staying or leaving after that,” Madlala told Kickoff.com.

Mbesuma joined Golden Arrows in January after a six month period in limbo.

He is 10th placed Golden Arrows’ top scorer with 10 goals in 20 matches.

Mbesuma is part of the Dario Bonetti’s 30-man team picked for Zambia’s 2012 Africa Cup Group C qualifier against Mozambique on June 4 at Nchanga Stadium in Chingola.

  1. lets hope for the best.Hope he has reformed ,otherwise we don`t want another Harrison Wawa Chongo end to his story.

  3. Ya Mbesuma is done. If it is good news why wait until the last game of the season. Confirming now that he would come back would be a positive , moraly but saying you are a gonner is negative. This chap should just get back and play for Roan !

  4. He scored on the last day. he finished wit 11 goals, not so bad really. Let them try him again on season deal. By the way, Zambians, Mbesuma’s income by Zambian standards is not very bad.

  5. Collins wen God bless u guard jealously that blesing. U were given a chance to play in english league u brew that away as if that is nt enaf u went to portugual nothing happened u came to SA u didn’t want to pick up the next we hear abt u is lower division o tp mazembe. Sit en think God loves.

  6. He has just been given another 2 years contract. This could be the last. Looks like he is also advanced in age. you really have to be very very good to play well around his age group as an African player.May be the other leagues, but as for the EPL he really tried his best but that league was just too advanced for him. His marketing team was just good for him to have gone that far. I am glad he has been picking up signing fees ngwees here and there…better than p learned people who were retrenched many years ago and are yet to pick up their terminal benefits!
