Retainers demand for increased salaries

Chief Retainers in Serenje District have called on government to increase their salaries and improved conditions of service.

The retainers who spoke on condition of anonymity have also complained of the delays in getting their monthly salaries.

They told ZANIS in an interview today, that they have not yet received their April and May salaries.

The Retainers added that although they recently got their March salaries the money was inadequate to carter for their growing needs.

  1. Yaba!!! these are jokes!! what exactly do these retainers do? what is their job? are they also government employees?

  2. Sorry Retainers but your money is gone for RBs development projects. He has forgotten about you because Mpezeni did not remind him that you are on GRZ payroll.

  3. Eeeish!!!!! I did not know that those people are on Government payroll. Anyway, what is their output and contribution to the country to deserve any payment. Just following behind the chief and chasing away flies and one has to be paid for that, sure mwe banthu!!!!!!!! Zambians ,we are really jokers.

  4. Hey guys, let’s grow up. As much as it may seem a joke to you, someone needs that money, so don’t make fun of them when they ask for more, shaaaaaaaa.
