President Rupiah Banda

President Rupiah Banda has arrived in Botswana for the SADC mediation meeting on Madagascar.

President Banda who is chairman of the SADC Organ on Politics, Defence and Security Cooperation was received by the director of the organ on defence and security Colonel Tanki Montae.

Others on hand to receive President Banda were Zambia’s High Commissioner to Botswana Marina Nsingo, and Zambia’s Foreign Affairs Minister Kabinga Pande.

President Banda will chair the meeting that is expected to discuss and agree on the proposed road map for the peace process in Madagascar.

The President was mandated by SADC Heads of State and government who met in Namibia two weeks ago to convene a special meeting of all political parties in Madagascar at the SADC secretariat in Botswana.

  1. This is like a comedy/Club Why does the Vice president comes to welcome the President. That sums up the administration in zambia. Leaders are laughing stocks, I am glad I have turned my back on this country. It really embarassing to be called a Zambian at times, you want to know why? look at the picture! Pathetic. Thanks

  2. MMD government is at loggerheads with Geysers, holiday loans and don’t kubeba

  3. chi mushota you are a FO OL do you known that why is it that all the time you post negative comments you should grow up you fool

  4. Thats more like the RBish we know; no orgasm if he doesn’t fly; and away he goes.

  5. Mushota #1.
For once you truly sound like you have your v.a.g.i.n.a in the right place. Its a good observation. I have never seen the prime minister here in OZ with more than her two car entourage. Yet this country is far better and second in the world to none other than Norway which has the highest HDI(Human development Index).
What a waste and a bunch of thick headed, faced and lipped jokers with RB including himself.

Any I hope your fiance will continue to pay you and you also continue to contribute Tax to development the country where you are.
    Have a nice day

  6. This is insulting guys, Bwezani was received by the director of the organ on defence and security Colonel Tanki Montae! These days he is never received by another president because nearly every month, he has to visit nearly all the SADC countries twice. And also note that if President Banda will chair the meeting, he is the chairman and the venue was supposed to be his country, but you bet he asked them to put it in Botswana so that he could travel. This man is a very painful daylight nightmare. And with Milton Phiri’s damning revelations, it makes sense now why Banda has no loyalty to Zambia, he is “Malawan”.

  7. Come on you guys, I dont think that everytime a presido goes to another country he has to be received by that country´s presido… It could be Namibs presido was busy… Quick to judge wrongly, zedians must change for the better ba i.m.b.w.a imwe…

  8. Mushota , this is an old pic, really as someone mentioned earlier, you gat your thing upside down!

  9. Mushota home is home. Even if you feel embarassed to be called a zambian, even if you change your citizenship , its just on paper my dear, hard luck, forever you will be zambian and a zambian indeed.

  10. @8 Nivek…………Yes indeed the NAMIBIAN President was too busy to welcome RB! And yet RB is in Botswana! I beginning to think Mushota may be right in her opinions about Zambia and Zambians!
