Father Frank Bwalya has says the Catholic Church will not allow to be mocked by president Rupiah Banda and the MMD by issuing hypocritical statements following the death of late former Mongu diocese Catholic Bishop, Paul Duffy.

Father Bwalya has said that President Banda and the MMD should instead be rejoicing over the death of Bishop Duffy because that was their wish.

He said that the MMD should not pretend to be thoughtful about the death of the Catholic Bishop when a senior party member, Chiko Chibale, is on record publicly announcing that the party on the copperbelt was dispatching its militia to kill Bishop Duffy.

He told QFM in a telephone interview that President Banda is at liberty to go for Bishop Duffy’s funeral but will not be allowed to issue hypocritical statements about the late Bishop as it will be a big mistake.

And Father Bwalya said that President Banda should apologize to the nation and correct the misinformation that Father Francis Musonda, who died at the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) on Thursday, was the first Zambian native seminarian.

Father Bwalya said that it was unfortunate that president Banda would claim to have known the late Catholic priest personally, even in his death, when he knows nothing about him.

  1. WE KNOW THAT PEOPLE LIKE SENIOR CITIZEN ARE PAYED BY STATE HOUSE IN LUSAKA JUST TO BLOGG ON LT. AND LT FEEDS THESE CADRES WITH INFORMATION PRIOR TO AN ARTICLE BEING PUBLISHED SO THAT THEY COULD INFLUENCE THE BLOGGERSHIP BY SAYING NEGATIVE ABOUT THE OPPOSITION. WE NOW KNOW THE GIMMICK BEHIND THIS.

    • thats the most useless and obviously not backed up by any evidence whatsoever, conspiracy theory i have ever heard my friend. It wud have been nice if u’d just kept that thot to yourself.

  2. Just because you disagree with somebody does not mean you would celebrate when that person dies. This is very indicative of pf mentality – you can not disagree with somebody and be civil. I personally do not agree on many issues with Sata, but that does not mean I would be dancing if he were to die today. These are the type of people who can not condone divergent views and I doubt whether under a pf administration, an opposition paper such as the Post would be allowed to exist.

  3. Nenani Banda,

Unfortunately for you and Wynter Kabimba too busy in dreams and frivolous legal suits in courts are doomed. These MMD mafias have launched systematic theatrics against you that has remained consolidating their victory. They have gone to the people around the country while you are busy laundering yourselves in vanity. Again blame yourselves for lack of strategy. Violence you are counting on is none starter for you other than suffering humiliation and collateral damage at the hands of Zambian security.

  4. That is how he misled Sata on FJT Chiluba’s death a guffle that has left PF disoriented, disconnected and doomed beyond redemption in this year’s election. Duffy has already been burried in San Antonio Texas yet Bwalya thinks his personal hatred will help him.

  5. Consequenses of being a bastard is this eternal hatred that eats you for life. See it on Fred M’membe and this chap Bwalya ever xenophobic to father figures and common sense.

  6. Rupiah is an dishonest impostor

    Remember

Fri 03 Sep. 2010 Western Province wants MMD out said Duffy

“MONGU Diocese Bishop Paul Duffy has said most people in Western Province feel that now is the appropriate time to change the government.

In an interview from Mongu yesterday, Bishop Duffy reiterated that the people of Western Province thought it was time to change from the current government.
“You know I have said here in Western Province it seems that people think it is time for change,” Bishop Duffy said.

“We have had the MMD since 1991 and I think it is time for change.”
Bishop Duffy said this was the general feeling of the people he had interacted with in the area.

Bishop Duffy said President Rupiah Banda’s government was full of contradictions. “

  7. UYU BWALYA WHY DO YOU EXPOSE YOUR SELF THAT ULI MWANA WAMUBUCHENDE COS IF YOU HAD A MATRIMONIAL FATHER YOU COULD HAVE NOT BEEN LIKE THIS WANYA ULECHIMONA UNO MUKULO WAIKATA PANSHI WABA AKABWAMBA UBUNONO.

  8. Truth is that RB has respect for the dead, but Sata has openly insulted Mazoka, Mwanawasa & Chiluba. Apparently, Fr. Bwalya is a worst hypocrite the Catholic Church has produced and groomed for subversive activities. He is part of a clique programmed to disturbilise some selected African States (Rwanda, Zambia, Zimbabwe). Bwalya was specifically detailed to sow seeds of confusion among Catholic worshipers in Zambia. Bishop Duffy was tasked to dismember the Western Province from Zambia by instigating Lozis to revolt against the Litunga. The Vatican relocated Duffy to US after realising that their agent and plot had been exposed. Duffy died from severe stress in the US where his assumed importance did not impress the Americans.

  9. Fr Bwalya what type of a priest are you? Surely not everyone agrees with you even in church when you are preaching, but that doesn’t mean they wish you dead or will rejoice when you die. We all differ in opinion and when someone dies please lets not politise their death coz we are all destined to die. GROW UP FATHER, YOU ARE NOT MORE CATHOLIC THAN THOSE WHOM YOU PREACH.WHAT IS IT THAT THE PF HAS PROMISED YOU?

  10. The axis of EVIL that had linked the clergy (Fr. Bwalya, Fr. Miha, Bishop Duffy, Bishop Mpundu), The Post, some Lawyers ( Kabimba, Musa Mwenye, Sebastian Zulu, Prof. Hansungule), SARCOD, Transparency International, FODEP, is a subversive network that will soon be dismantled after 20th September 2011. As for their boss Sata, it is a case of ” KUYA BEBELE”. Thereafter, Zambia will enjoy civilized politics by Chipimo, HH, RB and the rest (minus the foreign elements – Sata & Guy Scott).

  11. Frank Bwalya have you forgotten that the Catholic Church is preaching RECONCILIATION? What does it mean to you if you are a Priest worth your slat? You are a curse unto the Catholic brethren and sistren. Mark of the beast!

    • iwe lucy changwe,hw can u reconcile with a dead person?RB if he wante reconciliation i wud hv done before Bishop paul’s death.

    • Iwe Power, reconciliation with the dead, the living and future generations, OK? Infact, ka FRank is the one who should know better that in death, people know no enemy, isnt it? Teach those lessons to this fanatic lumpen, OK?

  12. Iam not an MMD supporter, I am simply a christian. But I am called to a higher order of doing things by God. Now, if what LT have reported is true about what this Father Bwalya has said, then it is very unfortunate for a Reverend to say such things. Where is the ‘reverence’ in your statement Fr. Bwalya? Is this message you are preaching Christ-like or not?. Would our Lord Jesus Christ say about your message?

  13. IN AS MUCH AS I MAY NOT SUPPORT THE SENTIMENTS OF FR. BWALYA CAN I FIND OUT FROM ANY OF YOU WHO HAVE CONDEMNED HIM TO GIVE ME A STATEMENT WHICH RB ISSUED WHEN CHIKO CHIBALE MMD CADRE HAD PLANS TO ELEMINATE THE LATE BISHOP. WHAT DID RB SAY ABOUT CHIBALE? PLEASE GIVE EXACT QUATATION. WHAT DID YOU SAY ABOUT RB FOR NOT REACTING TO CHIBALE’S BEHAVIOUR?.

  14. this father frank bwalya is a pain the ass,am pf but i know for sure that RB never said anything bad about duffy

    • I like that you are pf and dont wear wrong goggles :-) Peace my friend! If you can, please whisper to Frank that he has overstepped…achitako over pantinti…

  15. No 12 and No 15 should not forget that the same clergy, there insulting, there the same peolpe who where in the fore front in Jubilee Debt Campaigns, and the worked so hard to get debt relief for mother Zambia,Mwilalaba bwangu.Just condem what you think the’ve said is worng but do ‘nt insult them tommorrow you might need them.

  16. Bwalya is engulfed in hatred. RB shows love and compassion…even wishing his political opponents ‘good luck’. Duffy is gone. Did he love Zambia and Zambians? If he did…then Bwalya should emulate him instead of all times insulting an innocent person. By the Bwalya, who is your father?

  17. Imwe uyu chitole epo aba? what happened with the red card campaign? abantu bamo ba mungulu. Lolela september 20 chikala.

  18. Every time I read the pronouncements by the red-card prophet, I get surprised. This man of God who does not preach peace and reconciliation. From his mouth the term forgiveness rarely comes out. I wonder what spirits are moving this soul. Zambians be careful, the bible puts it clearly that we are in the days of the end.

  19. Father Frank ‘randy’ Bwalya, at times it’s best to just mourn the dead instead of always seeking political mileage! Whatever political differences the late had with the ruling party are now irrelevant so pls let it rest. You’re a phony priest and come Sep 20, we’ll deal with all you clowns one by one.

  20. musamba chama mumba 21/ I agree with you. RB has never said any ill about Duffy. But Bwalya seems to harbor so much hate for this innocent Zambian President. I am sure Zambians are wise enough to realize that this father is working against the bible by inciting vengeance on an innocent citizen.

  21. 10 MikeTe/ I wonder if God listens to prayers full of hate. One cannot convince me that this man who does not appear to preach love, reconciliation and other biblical behavioural attributes is worth following. The man would better show true christian values. Anyway, sometimes gods answer prayers, go ahead praying my dear.

  22. “Father” Bwalya before you become a priest you ought to become a Chriastian. I wonder where you christian cardinal principal of forvigeness is. no wonder becsuse of people like you the late Ghandi said, ” I like you christ but I don’t like your Christians because they are too unlike Christ”. You are not the CATHOLIC Church and you are not the sole guardian of her teaching. You are just a tribalist wolf dressed in a sheep’s rob. go to hell!!!

  23. The Catholic Church preaches about the fruits of the holyspirit and forgiveness. If Father Bwalya said these things it contradicts the Catholic Church’s teachings. President Banda’s statement on Bishop Duffy’s death was gracious and he did nothing wrong.

  24. “Father Frank Bwalya has says the Catholic Church will not allow to be mocked by president Rupiah Banda and the MMD by issuing hypocritical statements following the death of late former Mongu diocese Catholic Bishop, Paul Duffy”. Now am I missing something here? Is “father” bwalya the representative of the Catholic Church? More so that he has extended his sabbatical leave? I recall that Cardinal Merdado Mazombwe and the Pronuncio told us that such individual priests should not be seen to be representing the Catholic Church. Lost red card, masquerading as a priest, stinking fool!

  25. Frank Bwalya clearly disqualifies himself from the sacred title of “Father.” He may try calling himself “Uncle Red-Card”
Matthew 23:9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

  26. chibwalya just shut it!! is this worth making a meal of?? of course we all know he is being hypocritical…… he is a politician for crying out loud!!

  27. Since when did this wanker start issuing statements on behalf of my church. Fr Bwalya is a disciple of the devil. He is full of hatred.

    • from the way you are passing your comments its seems you dont even go to church because if you a true believer or catholic you should feel for Fr.Bwalya and pray for him.but instead you are happy just like the devil is also happy with your comments about Fr.Bwalya

  28. Bwalya is a wolf hiding in sheep clothing shown by his hateful speech and hardheartedness. Everyone can see that this Bwalya is full of hatred unlike a true priest.

  29. Please stop making political capital out over EVERYTHING! SHame on you Father Red Bandana! Why should any sane person celebrate the death of another human being! Will you celebrate the death of all those who have called you names? Get a life padre! Get a life!

  30. Surely by now ‘father bwalya’ knows that even Mr Sata is not impressed with his type of campaigning? Mr Sata told him off, didn’t he, for trying to steal the PF limelight during one of the bye-election campaigns a few months ago.

  31. Father Bwalya, don’t sweat the petty things, pet the sweaty things instead…things like how you’ll ever achieve stuff in 90 days-that should make you sweat.

  32. ka bwalya nifi fine nga kaumfwa sex! wanya ukope mambala! olo uli na manja ungaponyole ce!wilalya bamuka bene. umutima kwati ni ndoshi nelyo uli mwaice!

  33. mr frank bwalya is mentally retarded. he thinks he is an apostle. he is fighting to be made saint. i bet he and duffy(creator of linyunga ndabo) do not even know Jesus Christ. Democracy is their religion. candidates of hell! may God deliver this pagan! Repent Bwalya. repent!:-?:-?:-?

  34. hypocritical and e.vil bloggers

everybody knows Bishop Paul Duffy wanted MMD out…

    I repeat

MAY GOD HEAR BISHOP PAUL !

  35. UYU YENA CHIPUBA SANA we shall see when his GOS SATAn loses. how do you behave like this as a priest does it mean only those in pf are suffering if he says he talks on behalf of the suffering? y cant he also campaign with FDD or UPND. Is it becaues he is bemba and wants to associate with bembas? how does part of his flock that does not belong to PF feel? Does he really know the meaning of the red that he is wearing in relation to the bible?

  36. dudelove- You are the mosextrem *****. Father Bwalya has spoken sense for which also know. it is just that Corruption has blinded you.

  37. The cardinal rule is never say evil about the dead, so why should RB change that. By attending someone funeral does not imply we liked that fellow. I will attend my worst enemy’s funeral but dont ask me why. It is personal.
