PATRIOTIC Front (PF) cadres celebrating the victory of their party at Kasama Town centre
PATRIOTIC Front (PF) cadres celebrating the victory of their party at Kasama Town centre

Let me begin by saying, I was one of the people who had so much confidence in the PF Government considering the corruption tag that the MMD carried for a long time and I was heightened when Sata took over thinking the PF Government will transform the nation in 90 days and will see the rule of the law upheld. Little did I know that we are putting a bunch of people with no regard for the rule of law and abusing the people of Zambia as though they are not the ones who swore to defend the freedoms that we enjoy?

I have lost so much confidence in the PF and we the people of Zambia are to blame because we wanted change and we voted for it and we got change but just the extreme change that we did not envision. Sata has no regard for diplomacy that’s why he is acting the way he is in so many public domains. The brutal beating up of citizens is the worst form of human abuse I have seen in a long time and I thought that only people like Mugabe who are so corrupt, use such demeanors to react to demonstrations but I guess I was wrong.

The fact that Sata became friends with Mugabe again and supporting each other’s brutality is enough persona to carry out those wicked human abuses against unarmed people.

Even if the Lusaka chief did not give the permit to demonstrate, they can never use force to such an extent and beat the innocent youths tto quail that gathering. The constitution was violated and they must sue the state for abusing them and causing bodily injury to them.

The type of force they used was excessive and the opponents were not armed they used deadly force. We the people are to blame for getting someone who is not educated in that high office and that’s why he is insulting us even to Zimbabweans because that’s the type of a person he is.

The late Levy Mwanawasa condemned the election of Mugabe because of the human abuses going on in that country and yet our president with no regard for the people and feelings of that country embraced Mugabe and supporting early elections. This time 90 days feels like 90 years of captivity and whoever raises a finger against Sata, will be in hot soup because he is a dictator he has always been.

Sata is running this country like a train station, where he does not consider who is on the tracks as long as they are trying to challenge him, he will hit them hard and that’s why we saw what happened to those UPND youths and all those instructions came from state house to make sure that the youths pay dearly and those would be offenders against the PF days of captivity fear for their lives.

All the youths are trying to do is to lodge a complaint that they want their K14B back from Nchito and M’membe and Sata should not be shielding them from being accountable to the people of Zambia.

Sata please tell us what your plan for Zambia is because we are still waiting for more money in our pockets in relation to Jobs, the K14 billion that your crooks have stolen from the people of Zambia even though that money will never be paid back because it was an unsecured loan so they will fight hard not to pay that money and as long as Sata is in office, the money will never be paid.

The injustices and human abuses we have started seeing is just the beginning of what we are yet to see and in 5 years will be worse than Zimbabwe. Just look at the selective fight against corruption, if you want to be safe join the PF and he will not slap you with corruption charges and that’s why the MPs in Zambia have no morality and stand and be careful because these sins will visit you one day as well.

Those of you in authority and influential positions never take the poor and the weak for granted because God has their backs and when He reacts to protect their cause, your dark corner meetings will be exposed.

God bless the people of Zambia

  1. Sorry ladies and gentlemen – I must have been drunk when I wrote this article. Really Sata did not instruct the beating of demonstrators but the police. I seem to have twisted the truth. I also seem to forget that under MMD people were actually shot to death when demonstrating in Mongu. It is also silly of me to carry on talking about 90 days and the 14 billion kwacha which is already taking its judial process. I will try and write from an informed position in the future so I dont mislead people. Its also quite surprising that LT saw it fit to publish this garbage from me.

  2. @ David Banda!

I think you are a misguided demon who only waits for food to be put on the table by those that work hard! Work up from your slumber you idiet and start behaving like a responsible man who should work hard for himself and his family! Stop those unnecessary complaints because in presume you are an able bodied idiet who should realise that lazyness does not pay!

  3. I also have just realised that PF are ONLY less than a year into their 5 year term of office. It is too early to make judgements and so please ignore the clearly disgruntled rubbish I wrote above. I had a serious hangover and was hypoglycaemic. LT must be pretty desperate to have published my crap. Please ignore it – I am a certified career CNP. It will take more than government to redeem me from my own personal failures

  4. The author of this contemptuous article sounds like a disgruntled grade 4 pupil, feeding on assumption and conjecture to satisfy his jaundiced brain. There is nothing substantial, nothing new, the author is just waffling.

  5. Mr Banda you should have known the 90 day rhetoric was just meant to hoodwink voters into swallowing PF lies.To begin with Sata was part of UNIP and had no experience in running anything to fruition. As they say in kenya, its just the forest that has changed but the monkeys are the same .

    • You are very wrong and naive at the same time. Probably you were young or not even born when he was governor of Lusaka under UNIP and when he became Minister of Local Government, Labour, Healthy etc in the MMD. Roads were being repaired and tarred and medicine, beds, linen suddenly started reappearing in clinics and hospitals. Most important, he formed his on part that started with one MP at its inception and 10 years later, he’s President of the Republic of Zambia. Wajata ng’ombe even the monkeys to survive human encroachment, have adapted in order to survive.

  6. Power should never be given to the uneducated, people who have never been to school can only run a village or a chiefdom, not a country. Zambians have made a mistake and i hope we are going to learn from this mistake. Zambia will be worse than Zimbabwe, there will be vast human right abuse, disregard of the law and economic failure.

    • I think you are a breed between a cockroach and a snail. Micheal Sata has a BA in political science and corporate law he obtained in 1972 in london probably before you were born, hence your lack of knowledge on his academic qualifications.

  7. I don’t think all zambians can have that short memory like this poor author… he is suffering from BAD memory.. Besides don’t even lie us that you once had confidence in PF, you have ever been a full time UPND

  8. DONT WORRY BANDA WE ARE IN A GOVERNMENT OF” CHIBWE NO PLAN!WHAT CAN U SUSPECT A GOVERNMENT RULED BY AN EX-POLICE OFFICER AND AN EX-BUS CONDUCTOR OF C.R COMPANY?ITS CHIBWE NO PLAN!!!

  9. Sata litole fye naimwe, very corrupt I leave in malawi and the fuel he gave us ended up in fuel station for sale and Iam very sure he has a share.

  10. ANYWAY ! I DIDN’T JUST GRASP THE 90DAYS THING COZ NOT EVEN A PREGNANT WOMAN CAN DELIVER IN 90DAYS !
    FORGIVE MY IGNORANCE!
SATA IS A BEMBA MAN AND OBVIOUSLY I MISUNDERSTOOD HIM.

    IFISUMA FICILI FILEISA.

  11. Continue your whingeing Banda; the majority of the people who voted PF are quite happy with the way things are moving. Your out-of-touch views denote a weasel mentality.

    • Can you itemise the goodies under the PF so far. All one can see is total confusion devoid of any policy direction coupled with brewing hatred, tribalism, nepoticism and all the negative isms in the book.

  12. Unless yu we were born before Zim’s independence and yu have not done a survey on Mugabe’s porpularity country wide yu can be excused for your myopic understanding of African politcs. Mugabe went to war in Zimbabwe because of land. The British urged Mugabe to go ahead with independence and wait for money to buy back land from mainly white farmers. Then suddenly there was a clarion call for multpartism. Did yu expect Mugabe to leave without giving land to the peopple? The British and Americans used the powerful white media in South Africa to paint Mugabe as an evil leader just like they r doing in Venezuela. Sata and some of us know why we Mugabe has carried us along!

    • Why brutalise innocent pipo and support such dictatorship?  UK has so many citizens of Zimbabwe – asylum seekers – all run away from Zim: economic & political prisoners of Mugabe. And you support such!  Shame on you!  What have the innocent UPND youth done except exercise their right to assembly & freedom of expression? Shame on you!:o

    • I agree with u, In fact zimbabwe is for zimbabweans ,why should a tenant who fails to pay his/her dues turn around to start claiming ownership of your house, what crap is that!! Are africans still damn in colonialism? Nah, in fact Robert and all african leaders must rethink on the meaning of true independence- Leaders must CHANGE THE EDUCATION SYSTEM to aim at being own African inventors, manufacturers and producers of our own products from guns, ammunition, food both processed &unprocessed, clothing, water, etc to be truly independent than depending on the imperialist..Leaders must send their best brain citizens to study and research in the west’s laboratories in masses with the aim of TECHNOLOGICAL TRANSFER to mother countries universities ,research institutes and implement the theories

  13. WE WANT TRUTH!! The Public want TRUTH -Nothing but the TRUTH. “STUPID JUDGEMENTS BY STUPID JUDGES”. THEREFORE, THE LAZ PROPOSED TRIBUNAL MUST BE IN PUBLIC HEARINGS NOT CAMERA…..WHY HIDE IN CAMERAS,WHY?? The LAZ ACT SHOULD ME AMENDED TO WEED OUT FAKE LAWYERS AND FAKE LAZ PRESIDENT.Also Mmembe’s influence in the governance of Zambia is a danger to Zambia. This 14billion DBZ JUDICIAL CHIKOPA TRIBUNAL is seriously haunting everyone,It’s window dressing ,Zambians be warned,Mmembe,Mmembe is untrustworthy. We need another LEVESON INQUIRY like the UK to regulate media ethics, culture and practice ) MMEDIA  BRING  DOWN  GOVTS  BBASED  ON  FALSE  H  IS UNETHICAL,mmembe ‘s  lies  must  be  stopped
    !!!

  14. I think the author of this article is not even a Banda. It must be Hachipuba Han’gombe. If you really voted for the PF purely on the 90 day theory it is your own foolishness. Democracy is a rule of law. If the law says you must get a permit, obey the law. There are so many people with loans in various banks. Why should we single out on one loan and make too much noise about it? It is loan and none of our business. Shotage of electircity and fuel is because there has been no investment is power generation and fuel infrastructure for the past 50 years. It will be very under five to heap all these on a gorvernment that has been around for less than a year. Mugabe has been demonized by the western colonizers. Do not be brain washed by the colonial master.

  15. Ukwa has only managed to u-turn everything he promised, typical of a loser. We now have a government similar to Chiluba’s. Mwanawasa and RB had good policies, not this bunch of huffish clowns.

    • true you are the one seeing what is happening Zambians have never suffered before SATA is setting the nation on fire

  16. In fact zimbabwe is for zimbabweans ,why should a tenant who fails to pay his/her dues turn around to start claiming ownership of your house, what crap is that!! Are africans still damn in colonialism? Nah, in fact Robert and all african leaders must rethink on the meaning of true independence- Leaders must CHANGE THE EDUCATION SYSTEM to aim at being own African inventors, manufacturers and producers of our own products from guns, ammunition, food both processed &unprocessed, clothing, water, etc to be truly independent than depending on the imperialist..Leaders must send their best brain citizens to study and research in the west’s laboratories in masses with the aim of TECHNOLOGICAL TRANSFER to mother countries universities ,research institutes and implement the theorie

  17. the author of that article should go an suck milk in order to think clearly, Zambians u have a problem you are very good at talking nonsense, rubbish and impatient, thats why the country shall forever lag behind, u think development takes place in minutes?? it can start with a second count but that does not mean it will end within that second, its a process and every process has stages,,writing rubbish and confusing people, this government promised that within 90 days things will start changing, and we have seen the wheels of change in motion but we are not yet there yet its barely a year since they assumed office and you want all the damage done by the previous regimes, which ruled for 27 and 29 years respectively to be rectified in one day? common grow up and be realistic,!!

    • The morale of the story is dont promise what you cant deliver. Even when you are proposing a lady for a hand in marraige, be realistic in your attempt to win her over. Dont promise heaven on earth else your neigbour, her workmate or worse still your houseboy will take over….

  18. The author of this article is 100% correct he is sharing the frustrations of  the many million Zambians . PF must admit to Zambians that they were duped . All those denying this are just not being sincere and are being economical with the trueth. Inflation is now in double digit , kwacha has divide nose down. If I may ask what achievements to date has PF recorded. This is the question PF can’t answer even on this forum no one will give me a factual and evidence based answer. PF stop living in denial namufilufyanya ifiintu dollar na ipena

  19. At this rate, even Chiluba did much better. People were told but they chose to go with the superficial lies that even a child could have seen as lies.I’m sure even LT is now seeing the reality of retrogressive PF rule. Very sad for mother Zambia.

  20. Ndimwe cabe vipuba if you thought the PF was a perfecto which had a magic wand to end all your sufferings in 90 days. These things are there and will be there till the end of time! How gullible. We, in PF won an election for a 5 year mandate. So save your breath bangwele, coz we wanna thump you again!

  21. Don’t worry about these bastards who think CNP has done alot since he took over presidency. He is jst another bunch of trash

  22. this is a true reflection of what is obtaining on the ground..only that monkeys don’t usually feel the heat since they steal form one field to another and escape lynching..PF is the govt that sthall go down in history as having totally failed Zambians..

  23. RUBBISH ALL ANT PF,YOU THINK PF WILL TAKE A SPONN AND FEED YOU,YOU LAZY QUACKS THEY HAVE SHOWN YOU THE SPOON RISE AND TAKE IT TO FEED YOURSELFS.USELESS!

  24. its a pity only a few can think, Zambians are being used by the corrupt leaders because most of them are recycled. we need leaders that are educated and have hearts for the people. the poeple passing negative comments must be related to the corrupt leaders.

  25. But was PF lying when they were making those promises. Why are people twisting the PF Manifesto. PF were not lying, they meant what they said. The only thing is, they have now come to terms with the responsibility of turning this around. Although I was happy that PF came into power, because I was up to here with RBs group, especially how they manipulated ZNBC, I didnt particularly want PF to win – however, what other choice was there! So, thats why we now have to assist PF to do the best they can with the time they have. I believe all is not lost, we can still have a number of good things come our way, if PF put the (P)eople (F)irst.

  26. @hey, education without wisdom is not worth it. The author sounds like UPND liking wounds of the 920 elections. HH could have been a president right, if he sold himself well, but he never did.

HH ascendance to power was tribal, Sakwiba was hounded out of UPND, and many others left due to the very events that followed after HH became leader of UPND. On tribal grounds, regardless of what ever HH incapability the south will forever vote for him.

Zambia at the moment is at crossroads for the leader to take it forward after MCS rule. but we are constantly losing confidence in probable people HH is not inspiring. At the moment the big man is the best lets give him a bit of time.

  27. Ba Sata Lishilu. He can not take this country forward, rather he can only take it backwards. He is a UNIP stoog with a UNIP mindset. He is protecting criminals like Mmembe and Nchito. All of Sata’s supporters are foolish!

  28. I wonder why every complaint from well meaning citizens is attributed to HH and UPND. Zambia is for all zambians and you all have the right to complain when things are not right. One of the reasons why our country has not gone forward is because we accept very low standards. If we expect and demand the highest of standards from those we have put in office, they can deliver. Some of the occurances in our country are unacceptable anywhere else.

  29. Useles writer Banda as yo name suggests we know u r RB’s relation honestly speaking it took u pipo in yo mmd gvnt 3 yrs to steal de zambian moni do u think its vry easy for PF to rebuild de economy in 90 days ? Is it possible for a new child to be born today en begins to walk ? i mean gv PF ample time to clean up yo mess u caused to great zambia mmd had bn in power for ova 20 yrs we witnessed alot of corruption en other malpractices neva b blindminded learn to tel de truth MACHENDE BAKO wit yo fake article HE M.C SATA is pushing this country forward en u r one of de beneficially pliz neva tek as aback. then de issue of the police (excessive force) de police dd a gud job within de confines of de law by stopping de unlawful assembly by UPND foolish youth de force they applied was minimum

  30. #7 mushimba, between your so called boko haram educated HH and SATA, i would choose SATA. Your under 5 president, during the 2011 election campaigns instead of interllectualy selling himself to the zedians, he chose to be a mimbulu dancing king. Instead of coming up and selling his party manifesto, he chose to be bruce lee with a white karate belt.

  31. Yaba …just compare Lawyer L. Mwanawasa to Ex- cop, conductor, Kaponya as presido
and you get the answer. The top man’s
thinking is extremely vital to the survival and progress of any situation. Vision bane Vision…

  32. Successes of PF govt is 1- Globe trotting by Michael Sata. 2- Insulting Zambians in diaspora 3- Politicising all govt departments and news media, 4- Every activity in Zambia hinges on one man (Sata) including would be invesors (Indians after his visit) 5- Only Zambian head of state to have been protested aginst his presence in UK. Good lack to zambia.

  33. The other day that little boy, calling himself copperbelt upnd chairman, said a lot of unprintables about president SATA. This is the chap who does dubious car sale agency business by crooking clients in all sorts of ways. Any i dont blame him, even his president store privatisation money thru crookery and deceit.

  34. If you had bothered to ask me when i told you ‘more money in your pockets’, all this kind of writting would not have happened.

In case you still dont get it; Yes there is more money in your pockets, but dont confuse that fact with you getting more spending power. The money is at Ministry of Finance and BOZ, your pockets allowed me to access it.

  35. De prblems wt Zmbians is that many pipo ar lazy & owezs want to be gven wht to do, wors stil even the uneducated wnt 2 find jobs. Thts is y any babun wh tel dem 2 demonstrate they do even wen they dn’t even undastand th isues. Wat pains me mo is tht none of thze fuls coz thmselve liders ar bten expect thoz wh folo blindly 4 a K10 000. Wek up & c oportunities ar there wetha educated or not. Cming to 90 dez isue only a ful lik de otho of th abov atical thot thngs wil chnge in 90 dez, policies ar to be chnged pls b4 anthin gud coms. So Banda jst luk around n u wil c smthing tht wl help u hav mone in tumba ratha than cryin coz u may die a rich ful.

  36. please let us learn to give our own views than saying “Zambians”. We have not appointed any spoks person but the ballot in 2016

  37. The author of this article is an interested party, just politicking and bubbling. What violence is he talking about? was his head shoved in the sand during the rule of MMD?

  38. David Banda, I believe you belong to the same group of MMD and UPND losers who are still leaking their wounds of election defeat. The UPND was warned and advised in advance that the case was before the courts and that their action would be prejudicial to the outcome of the case. And there was nor deadly force used here you loser. Deadly force means putting someone down permanently, simply to KILL. You expected the cadres who broke the law to go scotfree. Well you were wrong and just as mistaken as hakainde is. Don’t cry when the law visits you after asking for trouble. We are a country of rules and laws and anyone would breaks them, must face the music.

  39. Sad state of affairs standards on LT have dropped indeed, looks like the feeble minded amateur writers from watch-pig’s pool are now being allowed on LT.

  40. GUYS KABIMBA IS HERE IN CHINA MEETING THE COMMUNIST PARTY,HE WAS INVITED BY THE COMMUNIST PARTY.HE’S TRYING TO GET IDEAS ON HOW TO GOVERN A ONE PARTY STATE

  41. Ala bane tuletekanya pa kusosa. Pantu nga tauletekanya, mucifulo cakusosa, kuti wa Bosa! mwe bengi apa tamule sosa iyoo, mule bosa fye nge mbwa. necacine mwe bengi muli mbwafye. FTJ, mwanawasa (may their souls rest in peace) and Nyama soya have been in power for 10, 7 and 3 years respectfully and u want 2 compare their performance or the lack of it, with Ba shi Chilufya who has ben in Power for less than one year? Zed is not a Kantemba lyk sme of you think. its a big country and if u expect to see drastic changes in this short period of tym, you are not being fair. The only thing that one can afford 2 do in a short while like this is 2 be able 2 plunder the resources like Banda did in three years. But 2 rebuild a plundered economy after the lyks of Banda its not childs play. gve Sata tym!

  42. You see ladies and gentlemen, being educated can sometimes be an extent of foolishness in some people.Does the writer really know what Mugabe has done for his country or is he one of people that are so dull to see through western media negative reports on Africa? Mugabe looked at the future of that country and something had to be done on the present day so the next generations would not suffer. Imagine resolving the land issue in Zimbabwe long after Mugabe,it was not going to be possible. They promised to redistribute the land but when time came, they tried to shift goal posts which back fired on them wanna be modern day en-slavers.

  43. This author zooona is very dull i have never come across.he is condeming mugabe without having the facts. My friend, ready widely, find the truth before you publish.People heve information on Mugabe……and if you did not know,am telling you that Mugabe did a good thing for his people.Find out more b4 you show us your ignorance.

  44. I’m not that much of a online reader to be honest but your sites really nice, keep it up! I’ll go ahead and bookmark your site to come back later on. Many thanks|
