The Barotse Royal Establishment in Libonda Palace has expressed concern at the slow pace of construction works at Libonda High School.

Speaking through Acting Muleta (Ngambela) at her Palace when Chinese Ambassador to Zambia Zhou Yuxiao paid a courtesy call on him yesterday, Chieftainess Mboanjikana wondered why construction works on the K36 billion high school were slow.

And China Jiangxi Project Manager Duan Xuwei said the change in the school plan had caused the delay in the construction works.

Mr. Xuwei said the company was currently waiting for a new school plan from the Ministry of education that will only be ready by December this year.

He however assured Her Royal Highness that the works will speed up once the new plan is availed to the contractor who will also ensure that the school is completed within the stipulated period.

Meanwhile, Chinese Ambassador to Zambia Zhou Yuxiao has pledged commitment to ensuring that developmental projects being constructed by Chinese companies in Western Province are of good quality and will be completed within the stipulated time.

The Chinese Ambassador is in Western Province to inspect developmental projects constructed by Chinese companies.

Meanwhile, Chinese Ambassador to Zambia Zhou Yuxiao says the world is a global village where developed countries should support developing ones like Zambia.

Ambassador Yuxiao said this when he called on Western Province Permanent Secretary Bert Mushala at his office today.

He noted that economic activities like agriculture and fishing can yield positive results if the local people made the best use of land, adding that doing so will help grow the economy of the province.

Ambassador Yuxiao added that he is happy to note that there is transparency and accountability of materials in Chinese companies engaged to do development projects in the province.

Meanwhile, Western Province Permanent Secretary Bert Mushala said the Chinese Government should not tire, but instead continue working with the Zambian government so that the country advances to a high level in technology advancement.

  1. ahahahahahahahahaha:(( BRE unhappy i was thinking they are no longer under zed they have thire own country now asking help from king cobra  this makes me laugh wat about under 5 hh

  2. I think development is the one area where locking horns should be set aside. These guys signed up to create a country that is yet to fulfil its development potential to most parts of the country. We owe it to ourselves to make all of Zed progress.

  3. Develop this province and they will stop that thinking, lozis are zambians like all of us even hh is a zambian. ONE ZAMBIA ONE NATION 72 TRIBES

  4. These bloody fools called Lozis will never cease to amaze me! Are they part of us Zambians? I have asked this question because their so called ‘king’ and that toothless baggar called Ngambela wainyelawila have made it clear that they are not Zambians! What do they want from us? What is remaining as at now is to drive these lunatics out of our country zambia! If they cant trek back to south africa or botswana, its better we drown them in zambezi river or just kill them and give their useless bodies to wild beasts to feast on! Masipaaaaaa!

    • How do you drown someone when you cant swim? Lozis are swimmers for your information. You are forgiven, because where you come from there are no elders. I am not a Lozi but I have respect for those people.

  5. Agony is to be ruled by a confused lunatic prone to wearing oversized suits and making the most bizzare, vile, tasteless and stinking jokes!

  6. Sata, these are achievement that people who have decided to smear their own feaces in their eyes hence they cannot see anything. Viva PF. Deliver development to our Lozi friends because development has eluded them all these years hence the need to secede. Change the pic my President.

  7. What about the Mongu / Kalabo road? Has the project started? People are suffering that side. Mongu / kalabo is just about 80km, but they pay K120,000.00. to get to Kalabo and vice-versa. That is the same fare people pay to go to Lusaka which is about 600km. They have every reason to think the way they are doing.

  8. Munyelopwete, your language to “kill the Lozi in the river Zambezi” was the same kind of language that led to the killings in Rwanda. What you are saying is ethinic clensing. It is not acceptable.
You need to shut your dirt mouth.
