Patriotic Front Central Committee Chairman for Transport Willie Nsanda addresses opposition MMD members who handed over their party cards and campaign materials when they defected to the PF in Chilanga

Lusaka Province Patriotic Front (PF) chairman Geoffrey Chumbwe has warned party members against creating camps within the party because the PF is all inclusive.

Mr Chumbwe said in Chilanga yesterday that there was only one camp, that of the PF and President Michael Sata.

He was speaking when he received 300 defectors from the MMD all from Chilanga Constituency Muyeye Ward at Ndozo Lodge.

He said he would not hesitate to fire anyone who belonged to any other camps besides that of President Sata and the PF Party.

“I am not interested in any camps, my interest is that of Michael Chilufya Sata and the Patriotic Front, We are all working for Michael Sata and the PF and nobody else. If I hear that you belong to this or that camp rather than for Michael Sata I will fire you,” he said.

He urged the newly recruited members to ensure they recruit as many people as possible to enable the party grow.

“PF is not a one party state, let’s make sure that we recruit as many people as possible, accommodate everyone,” he said.

And chairman for transport Willie Nsanda said during the same function that President Sata was eligible to stand for two terms and declared him for Presidency in 2016.

Mr Nsanda said as Mr Sata’s campaign manager, he would campaign for Sata in 2016 as he still had the mandate to stand for another term.

He advised those that had joined the party to form sections and serve the party in positions in the lower organs where they exercised their potential.

“Make sure that you create as many sections as possible to eventually form a branch and recruit as many people as possible. Do no worry about the position you are serving even if it’s in the lower organ because that is where your potential will be identified,” he said.

And representing the defectors, former MMD secretary for Muyeye ward Innocent Kabinda said the members decided to join the ruling PF because they wanted to be party of the development that the ruling party had initiated.

Mr Kabinda said Chilanga constituency had been neglected for a long time and the people were confident the PF would bring development to the constituency.

  1. “PF is not a one party state, let’s make sure that we recruit as many people as possible, accommodate everyone,” he said…..Chumbwe, do you even know what a state is?

  2. May you please tell GBM that he is not presidential material please ! To you willy and Chuumbwe just wake up to the reality that the ministers have just started their Campaigns .they interact with SATA have have done their assessment He is not for the 2nd term like Mandela……

  3. Mwanya, you will see ba PF in 2016. You think people can be swayed by those cheap politics???? Ba Nsanda naimwe . eish. Ester, eish Ingrid your son’s girl friend mwafyalamo no mwana, eish your ex wife, mama ine!!!!!!!!!!!! kabova. etc. awe mwe.

  4. Be careful with those new guys, they have come to PF coz in MMD they cant chew any more…thus they just want money. You should also stop bickering like kids.

  5. While there’z nothing wrong with H.E M.C Sata doing a second term az permited by the constitution, it’s a very BIG SHAME that the PF must be talking about that now when the man haz just done one out of the possible 10!

  6. These cards look very very new, so these guys have started old trick by MMD, printing cards and displaying them like this is too ancient an idea.

  7. Sata himself does not want a second term, why are you speaking on his behalf. We shall wait and hear it from the horse’s mouth. Nsanda and Chuumbwe you have started the cheap politics that Chiluba used for the 3rd Term debate. GBM and Kabimba know what is really happening in the party and they want to be on top.

  8. These are in fact, jobless youths who were probably given food and money for attending that meeting. They look like college students or even UNZA. We know that students can be so cheap sometimes and they can agree to be paraded like that for some money.

  9. Looking at the rate Sata’s health is deteriorating, he will be very lucky to be alive by 2016, worse still end of this year. So those wishing him a second term are but just day dreaming.

  10. 2016 is fast approaching, put your act together and deliver on your promisses other wise your vote buying gimmick will not work. We know that there are PF cadres sent to buy MMD cards and then they display these cards and parade their own PF supporters to show that people are leaving MMD. These are long old rotten tactics which have being used. Ask Michael. Your real campaign now is not how much you lie but how much you deliver on development and job creation.

  11. Mmmmh! Did anyone else notice that these MMD cards are brand new? It’s a shame that these youths are switching allegiance just to survive. What happened to working hard? Yaba!

You are right in fact students across the globe irrespective of race behave in similar manners. To me they look like first year drop outs or students who fail to graduate due to insufficients credits. It follows that the only hope they have, is to affiliate themselves with any seemingly promising liar such the PF party spokes person above. You must recall that such failures in academic cycles are over burdened with unpaid student loans and are read to strike at anything, therefore everything to them is a target even a dust bin. Such tactics won’t work, the media was deliberately invited to take photos of the uninformed audience. Viva HH, UNPD. Peace to all Zambians
