Mike Mulongoti has lashed out at PF Secretary General Wynter Kabimba for stating that the former Works and Supply Minister would have to wait for 50 years to ever become President of Zambia.
In an interview, Mr. Mulongoti said Mr. Kabimba should be the last person to lecture anyone on politics because he is a political reject from Mwembeshi.
“I don’t expect anything from Mr. Kabimba. Why should he be the one to tell me to wait for 50 years to be President? It’s not up to him but to the Zambian people to decide,” Mr. Mulongoti said.
Mr. Mulongoti added that Mr. Kabimba had been rejected by his own people in Mwembeshi where he tried to win an election as MP.
“For over 20 years, Mr. Kabimba had been trying to represent the people of Mwembeshi and they kept rejecting him and now that he was sneaked into Parliament by nomination he wants to start lecturing us about politics?”

“These are the levels of arrogance that got the MMD voted out and Mr. Kabimba is exhibiting the same traits and the end result might be disastrous,” Mr. Mulongoti warned.
He advised Mr. Kabimba who doubles as Justice Minister to tone down and humble himself.
The former Works and Supply Minister also condemned a statement attributed to Mr. Kabimba in which the PF Secretary General was asking all those that contributed financially to the PF campaigns to bring bills to the secretariat so that they could be reimbursed.

Mr Mike Mulongoti has won any election in Zambia but has alwys been nominated just like Kabimba.The other diffeence between the two is that MIKE MULONGOTI failled to pass a LAW course at the university of Zambia as a mature entry student who aws marely awarded a simple silent degree to save MMD government faces as he was a full cabinet minister in the Rupia Banda,s led adminstration two years ago unlike Winter Kabimba who passed well to get admited to UNZA and graduated with a merit when UNZA was UNZA . Mulongoti does not pass anything but only strived whenver he got nominated to parliament.

PF governance is amazing, how do you allow Minister of Defense and Minister of Justice to be fighting and you are watching and enjoying the game as president.
Why is the president quiet? Is his tied by some acts of indulgence the public does not know – and these two guys, wynter and GBM know?
The president must have been exposed to these guys on some acts they can press him on, and so he remains silent; no way these two ministries anchor the security of the nation. they must know that this game of theirs is not only affecting the two of them but the entire nation.

the last time blogged about Hon Mulongoti, i said he is not after a Job from pf and that sooner u will see his direction. here it is announcing -presidential candidate in 2016. Mike Mulongoti was an elected Member of Parliament for Lufwanyama on two occassions in the 1990s. That is the time he also served as Deputy Minister in the Chiluba Administration. He resigned from Government and the MMD along with many others in protest at Chiluba’s un constitutional pursuit of the third term. He has an MBA from a prestigious Scottish University. He is also a UNZA graduate at Law though he is not a Lawyer because he has never been to ZIALE.

Just because Mulongoti is not in government or opposition does not make his point invalid. He has a point worthy taking. There is both truth and wisdom in what has been reported in this item from LT.
