Kilambe joins Linos on Mine Police Bench

FAZ Super Division side Konkola Mine Police coach Linos Makwaza has appointed ex-Zambia striker Rotson Kilambe as his assistant.

Makwaza confirmed Kilambe’s appointment to LT Sports on Tuesday.

Kilambe and Makwaza played together at Power Dynamos in the late 1990s.

“Yes, I am with Kilambe at Mine Police,” he said.

“They (executive) told me to find an assistant,” Makwaza.

Kilambe was until his appointment head coach of FAZ Division Two side Lumwana Radians of Solwezi.

During his playing days, Kilambe starred for Chinese side Sea Bulls, Mamelodi Sundowns, Bloemfontein Celtic and Kaiser Chiefs of South Africa.

  1. How on earth can someone be called Kilambe?
    What of John, James etc?

Companies here often refuse to recruit people with difficult names to pronounce, imagine a whiteman pronouncing that , he would struggle hence leave the person from one’s vocabulary
    Just a thought

    Thanks

    • How on the hell would someone be named and called Mushota?

Fast food companies here or toilet cleaning companies would not hire a person going by that name. It will be too tongue twisted to pronounce.

What kind of a parent (maybe a evil one) would name a child by that name knowing the child will have a tough time in this world to be compounded with silly egos just to justify her/his name presence.

What happened to simple names like Mulenga, Banda, Lungu, Nasilele, Sikazwe, Mukuka, Zulu and Katongo

    • kachinyo iwe ka mushota wali tumpafye..whats wrong with name Kilambe? Akutombwa fye ku musungu umukote nicky

  2. And who cares, except you the economic and sex refugee as you could not find anyone interested in your b….ty here???

  3. Great news indeed. Always nice to hear that our former soccer players are now involved in coaching our beloved sport. After so many years of professional soccer abroad, Rotson will definetely be a good support to Linos lead Mine Police team. Good luck to both of you and thumbs up.

    • The man failed to take Lumwana Radiants to division one, hope he will do well at konkola mine police.

  4. mushota u are nobody a useless idiot not even more educated than me coz i own sumtyn better than u idiot and economic and refugee parasite of idiocracy,,,,…mambala

  5. uko… bakumana abafwamba beka beka.
good luck linos… kilambe, help your old buddy. please do not undermine him.

  6. Good news indeed….ex-players like Kilambe need to be supported by offering them such opportunities. They have vast technical knowledge of the game that they can impart to upcoming players and youngstars. Where is Harry Milanzi,Frezer kamwandi,Masauso Tembo,Andrew Tembo,Mwape Miti and Dadley Fichite? They need to be involved in youth and amature development. Just saying….I might be wrong.

  7. kamushota If u don’t like ma name I also don’t like shirt name mushota in da bush tell da pipo

  8. mushota u really disapointed me coz we know each other very well in da bush u remember ? tell da pipo kamushota?
