Nkana have beaten FAZ Division One North side Mighty Mufulira Wanderers 1-0 in Friday’s pre-season friendly played at Shinde Stadium in Mufulira.
New signee Lottie Nyimbiri scored the solitary goal which seperated the two legendary clubs.
Nkana are getting ready for this year’s FAZ Super Division campaign while Wanderers led by coach Israel Mwanza are preparing for the 2013 Division One North League.
Friday’s match was Nkana’s third pre-season match in eight days.
Meanwhile, Nchanga Rangers beat FAZ Division One North side Kitwe United 4-0 in a warm-up match played at Kitwe’s Garden Park Stadium on Thursday morning.

When we used to represent the nation in continental tournaments we never used to struggle to beat or loose to teams from southern African countries like Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mauritius etc the way Power, Zanaco, Arrows have disgraced us. Such teams we used to hammer 4-0, 5-0, 6-1 for both home and away games. We just used to find it hard with the Arabs and one team from Ghana Asante Kotoko. Infact even against the Arabs we never used loose pa chilata, at least we would win by 1-0 loose an way game.
