  1. That’s disgraceful jail them without even being found guilty just the seriousness of the charges is good enough for a guilty sentence.

  2. This is very sad. When my wife was involved in a bus accident in June 2008 at Nyimba, the Nurse was so good she gave us back US$1,800.00 my wife had before she became unconscious.
I will always be grateful to Nurses at St Francis Hospital, Katete

    • Ujeni @4 did you care to know the name of the nurse in question? that’s how easterners are too good to be true thanks be to them. AS for these two i hope they rote in jail. What a shame.

  3. This is a joke. The mortuary attendant and nurse were not even on the scene of the accident. The real thieves in this accident are the police themselves who were on the scene of the accident, handling the victims and their property…And if indeed the nurse and malukula stole 1,200.00 bushe the police cant see that its impossible for one to buy a mountain bike, deep freezer, DSTV decorder, stove etc from this amount of money.. This is simply another case of the police covering their own misdeeds by victimising innocent citizens

    • Ati Malukula. Its along time I heard of such a name. Reminds me of the days i was growing upand playing bare footed in makululu shanty compound in Kabwe.

    • When you are found with property suspected to have been stolen, you are equally guilty. You are liable for prosecution as one who has helped or abbetted the thief.

  4. who was at the seen of the accident first.Unlookers, police and hospital staff. be your own judge who stands favourite to loot from that accident. I doubt if health workers are juilty….

  5. DSTV Kit,fridge, stove,Mountain Bike………were all these items taken to the mortuary along with the dead?Lets be honest and logical in our purported investigation ba police. You are supposed to police and not steal from the dead

  6. STEALING FROM THE DEAD??? WHAT A WAY TO ASK FOR BAD LACK. IF GUILTY, THEY SHOULD DEFINITELY BE JAILED. POVERTY PA ZAMBIA

  7. I wonder whether it is poverty or just moral decay. How does a nurse involve themselves in such an act? Mnay people are demon possessed and they rarely see that. They think it is wisdom yet it is another spirit working in them. Serious indications of times of the end. Matthew 24: 1-13. People’s consciences are seared with a hot iron such that they have stopped thinking now. They simply act like animals. SHAME…..
