Ex-Zambia forward Mwape “Jagger” Miti says he misses his former Danish club OB Odense and its supporters.

Miti was speaking in Denmark where Odense have invited him for a visit.

According to the official club website, he told over 900 Odense supporters at a meeting in Odense Congress Center that he still loves the team.

“Of course it is a special occasion when one of the major OB attackers, the Zambian cannon king Mwape Miti, makes a short visit to Odense, ” a statement on the Odense website read.

”Yesterday (Friday), up to 900 fans gave Mwape Miti an overwhelming reception when he came on stage at start-up meeting in Odense Congress Center to a standing ovation and long applause. “

Miti thanked the club for the invitation and for the overwhelming reception from the fans.

Miti left Zambia on Tuesday and the duration of his visit to Odense is not yet known.

He scored 109 goals in 246 games during his 10-year stint at Odense before injury forced him to retire in 2006.

    • Mwape Miti was good especially discipline, but just wonder why he missed out in Chipolopolo in the early 2000s.
Hope he gets a coaching job somewhere, like Zeddy Saileti doing good at Nkana.
