Beston: Beating Zanaco Does Not Heal Confed Cup Exit

Share

Beston Chambeshi says their Charity Shield win does not compensate for Power Dynamos Confederation Cup exit.

Power beat Zanaco 2-1 in the Charity Shield final last Saturday a week after CR Caala of Angola ejected them by the same aggregate score-line from the Confederation Cup.

“This does not compensate for the Confederation Cup exit but it was a good preparation for the league and I am happy with the character of the players,” Chambeshi said.

Power now turns its attention to the league with an away Week One trip to Nchanga Rangers this Saturday.

“Each and every team prepares to win silverware. You know Power Dynamos is a big team they always want to win titles,” Chambeshi said.

“All I can say is we are ready for the challenge.”
