  1. Good experience hope you survive and live to testify to others how it feels like to be shot in the chest go preach the word to your Colleagues shooting innocent citizens.

    • Why take such a career?? Just because Sata was a constable, and plays with nfuti daily, ati naine may end up a President. 21 yrs old is still young, he can go for teacher training college not bu kapokola.

  2. it’s a very good experience indeed. The officer should be upgraded to the rank of instructor. Having known how the bullet feels, he can use his experience to impart knowledgee into other policemen like Solomon Jere. Iam sure he is a darling in the police. We need such gallant men in the country because one day we can use him as a suicide bomber to target the galulous opposition political parties.

    • @ the Blax.

You are making fun of one man’s serious misfortune. One day, when you also run into a stroke of very bad luck, remember what you wrote here. God is watching you.

      Solola Bye!

  3. New recruit and recently employed. Job on training. Supposing the bullet hit someone with money. It was going to be interpreted as robbery. Luck for him, he only lost one lung and one arm.

  4. There appears to be something terribly wrong with our police men and women. It is either they have shot an innocent citizen or they have shot themselves. Meanwhile, criminals are going about their business freely and others are walking out of prisons whenever they feel like. As for Edgar Lungu and Stella Libongani, there is a always a huge salary and allowances for doing nothing. I feel for this country!

  5. If it was not suicide, how possible is it for a gun, as long as AKA47 to accidentally go off and shoots the handler in the chest? Was he trying to lean on it? That accident then defeats the safety ergonomic features of that gun (whichever), and at the same brings the designers of it to question. Have any investigation been conducted to ascertain DOC Ngoma’s statement of it being an accident rather a suicide case?

  6. Heartless thieves/bandits/thugs making these faceless utterances on this article leave much to be desired. Someone has sacrificed to provide his services to mother Zambia’s safety, but some frastrated idiots are making nonsensical comments on the mishap. God be with the constable and all peace loving Zambians!

    • Finally a sensible comment! These accidents happen all over the world, but because of luck of reasoning some chaps decide to make senseless comments.

  7. Love u much….xxxoxxx….ur besty for life…lauryn.

  8. Rude or ruled out! Bakalemba???
This young officer tried to put the gun(Ak47)down while holding the barrel. Unfortunately the gun was not on safety cut and the impact of the gun onto the floor made the gun to fire three shots on rapid. This was a bemba chap by the way but that was truely an accident. We just wish him a speedy recovery.

  9. Bakapokola ba 3 months, I wonder what training these chaps take, why not chaking the safety measures? have you forgot weapon handling,
