Share

Chipolopolo and FC Utrecht striker Jacob Mulenga has been linked to
English Championship side Nottingham Forest.

Sky Sports understands that Nottingham Forest have lodged a bid for Mulenga.

The 29-year-old forward has attracted interest from a host of European clubs.

Mulenga scored 14 times for Utreht in the ended Dutch Eredivisie season.

He further netted three goals in Zambia’s back-to-back 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Sudan in Ndola.

Sky Sports on Friday reported that it appears as though Forest are the first to make their move, with an offer having been put to Utrecht.

Reds boss Billy Davies is said to be keen to bolsters his attacking options ahead of a push for promotion in 2013/14.

  1. good luck jacob.
stay displined and focused. otherwise you are a fighter.
if only you can improve on your dribbling skills….

    • ANY SUCH DEVELOPMENT THAT ENHANCES OUR PROFILE AS A SOCCER POWERHOUSE IS WELCOME, BUT JACOB MUST IMPROVE HIS EFFICIENCY – I FIND HIS OUTPUT TOO LOW. HE STILL NEEDS OVER 5 CHANCES TO JUST SCORE ONCE, AND THAT ISN’T TOO GOOD FOR ENGLISH SOCCER. PLEASE JACOB, DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS…

  2. Don’t be distracted like your team mates have by the English clubs. As undecided as the British weather!

  3. ekupwa uku jacob, ku england kwaliba bola wingateya pa international stage. Even lampard fails. The target for any england national team coach at any major tournament(world/euro cups) is quarter finals. Is this a league to take your skills to.

    • 100% point, please we shouldnt get carried away with English football, they are Chipolopolos twin ballers, tapaba, i would be happy if he went to Dutchland, Spain, Stayed in holland atleast they try, France, Belgium not sana, nowadays balepangako ichongo locally, but teti bantinye i know them, almost Chipolopolo type, even Italia yalikosako, Japan or china cos training is heavy elo tulabutuka, kuti akosa to get muscle, the rest ni porridge! So guys lets not congratulate him, unless it’s about monie and we dont care about our footballs future!

    • Thank you. someone else that sees that the PSL is over glorified. makula yaku England always impress with a predictable exit from international tournaments.

  4. Go to Forest Jacob, English Football League Championship or NPower league as its called, is more competitive than EPL as all teams are more or less equally matched.
I can bet you that you won’t hear any problems from this deal as its far away from the influence of the great king and his corrupt empty suits at Football House.

    • Europe is not like your FAZ national team where you are handed a permanent position by HR…you have to fight tooth and nail for your position even if you are worth £50 million.

  5. Let Jacob go, after all Utrecht are willing to off load him as he is one of the highest paid. GO JACOB GO!

  6. Jacob you are 28 years, go to Nottingham and earn some money while you help them win promotion. For sure you will be paid far much better than where you are now. We have a lot national team players from various African countries playing in the championship. The critics on this blog cannot and will never feed you and your family. Ask the relatives of the Gabon issue. You decide yourself and not anyone else. Pa Zed why do we behave as though we own players
